We're still deciding turn vote, so how about I cast out a vote for the first day?

[X] A Festival of Founding preparations for the First Day of the New Year.

Day 6 is the highlight of the celebration where he hang red ribbons and calamari barbecue on trees. Also a grand arena celebration. Giveaways of @bigbow's toys for the kids on that day also.

Santa Dragon is in town! Next year it will be a tabletop game and the figures we give now will be awesome exclusives for it.

Illyrio, dracolich and runestone?

It's the Month of Loose ends! At last!!!

@DragonParadox where should we talk about what we want in/for the festival? I wanted to hand out some Lya fabricated toys to the kids, takesis wants his red ribbons, and I'm sure the rest of the thread has their own ideas to spicen up this blessedly lighthearted occasion (I swear if anyone gatecrashes the festival we will burminate them so hard their ancestors fighting the Others in the Dawn Age will feel the heat).

Seriously though, this seems like the Turn That Was Promised in terms of action economy.

Everything is finally starting to come together.

Aww, I'd rather to "poke the petrified tree" than have a few days timesinked. But whatever, at least I'll hope that we won't forego this result of natural 100 like we did the last one.
Next turn, maybe?

By the way, I want to keep Illyrio's skull.

Also, @Diomedon, I'm writing up a bunch of minor actions we need to take. Heads up that one of them is going to cost us a bit--commissioning a +1 axe for Argo the Minotaur since we're apparently not giving him Valyrian Steel.

Unless... @Goldfish, do we just want to commission Argo and Bronn +1 weapons and armor where needed from our local smiths? Or do we want to have Lya do it with innately better material like adamantine or something?

It happens in their free days, they have more than Viserys fortunately.

That's because they're sensible people who instead of being in charge of a dynastic restoration, and fighting half a dozen apocalypses and deciding they're in charge of the magical industrial revolution they found some guy to do that for them, and just "work" for that poor fool. :V

When you put it like that, it does sound kinda foolish.

We were going to poke the tree a little, but it was pointed out that Viserys wasn't even attending hin own festival so he could work more, just stopping in to give a speech.

Bronn was likely getting that magical bastard sword. Speaking of, what other items do we have that are identified (so they can be listed in order of priority)?

Goldfish has a good point with the teleporting. We have to drop someone from PoA, and it's probably between Tyene and Lya.

I'll have a vote for it before the festival.

...keep his skull..?

Heck Duesal, if you want to stuff it and mount it up next to the Peyton then I'm game.

"And this is a fell beast of ice and decay that tried to rip my heart out."

"Wow... and this one? Some sort of fell sorcerer?"

"Nah... just an asshole."

So, we have three rooms with permanent Mage's Private Sanctum, one in Braavos, two in SD?

... And we made a heraldic crest for Waymar before we made the shield magical?

@DragonParadox would Waymar prefer, in Viserys opinion, a shield with his personal crest (maybe that startfish themed on Tyene suggested?) or a shield made the image of the Royce's banner?

I thought we were going to give Bronn the enchanted Mithral sword from Essaria? But yes, Argo needs an enchanted Razor-sharp Great Axe and they both need proper armor. I think Lya should Fabricate the items, then have our Mage-smiths enchant them. We could pay them with massive amounts of Lya Steel.

Honestly, the next hot button issue that Rhaella will try to broach with Viserys is going to be the fact that he never takes a break, but hypocritically mandates that Dany does.

"Son, I'm concerned about your mistress... the tongues it would set wagging back in Westeros..."

"Mother, do not worry. This is a Brave New World. The cowardice of a lost age has no place in it... and trust me, it takes some bravery to march into that workshop at times to get a little attention..."

*later*

"Son, we need to talk about the structure of your court..."

"Thank you, Mother. I would be delighted to work out the details somewhere you can give your input."

"Thank you!"

*later*

"Son, I'm beginning to notice a pattern of women showing up in court... women who were not there previously."

"All coincidental."

"But--"

"I assure you, I am an equal opportunity hoarder."

""

*later*

"Son, we need to have a talk."

Dany: "Yes, I agree."

"We think..."

Dany: "It's time to take a break."

...

Dany: "Damn. I forgot to cast a Dimensional Anchor first."

"Where... where did he flee?"

"Let's check his itinerary."

The turn schedule Diomedon has put up seems solid as no more objections for it is raised. So is the fleet reorganization plan.

Voting time now folks!

Bronn's getting the enchanted mithral bastard sword, but his preferred fighting style is a bastard sword and a dirk. Also, mithral's not really the best material for a sword, so this is really just a temporary measure until we get Bronn some adamantine to wield. Bronn needs armor, yes, but Argo is already equipped with that +1 set of Plate Armor that we took off the dead Fire Giants.

Not much in the way of unidentified items this time:
Curiosities:
Ashai'i Shadow Silk
Black Tablets made of Dragonscale
Blood Chest
Cultist's war scythe
Enchanted Mithral Bastard Sword
Minotaur Chains
Ogre's Ring (Causes hunger pangs)
Qartheen Warlock's scepter
Two broken Rune Guardians (Necromancy)
I'd say identify the Enchanted Mithral Sword just so we can give it to Bronn for Tyrosh until we give him something better. Maybe the Shadow Silk from Asshai, too.

As for who to trop from PoA... I'd prefer to drop Tyene this time. I know she's a better healer than Dany, Lya, and Malarys, but they're still healers and we've got Belts of Healing to back up any deficiencies.

I think Dany should be removed from the PoA trip.

Flight isn't necessary, but it helps. Viserys can fly, Lya has 2/day Fly and 3/day Overland Flight, Viserys can cast Phantom Steed, and Malarys can prepare Wind Walk if necessary. Dany is superfluous.

Also DP, amongst the items we are making in secret for Waymar's knighting, there's a custom heraldic crest we, in fact, crafted last month:
Heraldic Crest, Runed: First Man runes are etched to the back of the shield, gleaming softly when it is struck. The wearer gainst a +1 Morale bonus to AC at all times. Once per day, on command, the shield casts Shield of Warding upon itself, CL 5; Price 7500 GP
Is it good?

Alright, I'll concede Dany leaving. :( I can't wait until level 15 when we can take five people with us via teleport.

And also being a dragon.

It's looking like we're going to be limited by what Viserys can carry with HHG+ant haul across 6-ish trips, unless the Xorn were transporting it to our cave with the portal. We need tons and tons of steel. I'm not sure we can hand it out like candy yet (and we might need to make a mining contruct and a train construct to make an underground train tunnel from our portal to the Xorn's PoE entrance to facilitate this).

I think Dany should be removed from the PoA trip.

I'd rather remove Lya or Tyene. Lya already has an adventure this month. Dany really needs XP for that next level up.

Mithral is still a great material for a his sword. It counts as silver and probably isn't a simple +1 sword. It might be better than we are willing to spend on crafting him a custom piece. Given it's origin and purpose of it's wielders, it could be a +2 Shapeshifter Bane weapon or something similar.

Basically, I don't think we should give him the sword with an expectation of replacing it any time soon. It's plenty good enough for him.
