They have the right to this, but we can reduce the damage to general reputation. Fuck what Volantis thinks outside what the knock on effects of their oponion is though.

Right. Hrm. Need to think about it. All the PMs to get into nitty gritty stuff is probably a good way to keep the discussion from exploding, but it's giving me too many things to think about at once. I don't have that much parallel processing. :V

That might work to some degree if you get Zherys, Benero or both to attest that they have not been enchanted.

Because rumors do not conveniently stop at the walls of Volantis
 
Zherys and us have an informal agreement not to fuck with eachother, so I don't see him putting up a fuss in a little pageantry to keep his fellow Old Blood focused on external threats of the present instead of potential threats in the distance.
 
It's PR that can be used outside of Volantis, I would think. That's the main reason. It also will make it easier for Zherys and the tigers to sell that it's important to go to war with us in particular when he decides it's time.
 
On the matter of martial adepts, since we will be dealing with armies, we can actually create the White Raven school and abuse it for all it's worth now.
 
I say that we speak with Zherys about this.

He will likely find a way to profit from this, and we can either negate the blow to our reputation, or perhaps even gain something

I agree. We're taking the albinos to Isengard Volantis.
 
...maybe I should just wake up early tomorrow, since outside of the rumors vote I'm pretty invested in both the redeployment vote and turn vote. And ugh...I don't want to go to Volantis...
 
You know, given the rumors tend to end up twisted on their heads how about we take this PR hit?

By the time it reaches Westeros the kidnapping of underage twins will be turned into the rescue of Two Princesses out of the clutches of vile Volantis. Might or not include exalting the virtues of the Seven :V

Word on the street is that we make baby oil out of actual babies.

Don't much care if "kidnaps maidens" gets added in.

We might actually be able to pull that off if we commission songs about it. We need to start paying people to do stuff like that.
