Pre-emptive sacrafices to Yss to boost his will save in the event of memory-oblivion? And bigger ones for re-rolls.
And bigger ones again for more re-rolls?

Sapient CE Dragon with access to anti-soul breath weapon.....Is it wrong that my first thought was wondering wether we could have extracted that ability?

Very. I view shit like that similar to living Brass.

Unless it funnnels all the soul-stuff to Yss or the Old Gods.

Then i'm all for it!

(not the memory one though, that I don't wamt ever. Would be bloody confusing after)

Get Yss back to being a deity and make sure we keep a positive balance with him and I expect we'd be fine.
He already is a deity, just a rather weak one right now.

Though I'm pretty sure he would work to resurrect Viserys as a matter of course. The hand that feeds you and all that. It's not like we haven't fattened him up enough.

DP called him a Godling, so I'd argue he's not quite back to full deity strength yet. But your point's fair.

I'm so glad Best God exists and likes us.

If one day we come back to Sorcerer's Deep and he's all "Hey, give me some food and ask me to bring back (person) from the dead", we should trust him and do whatever he asks.

He has yet to steer us wrong.

Also about the reward. Why do I get the feeling that the thing broke up into Blue Ice. Should be thematically fitting. And useless for arming the Children for a variety of reasons which is why we wanted a dragon encounter in the first place.

I imagine that Yss would know Viserys would make it rain oceans in blood in gratitude for such actions (Yss may not have the concept, but I'm sure he can see the shape it makes), the problem is that Yss might fail the Willsave :(.

Ever since the Wildfyre incident, I'm inclined to do whatever he says, no matter how weird it may sound. He even declined to get a bite as payment for that, considering keeping his temple safe enough effort on our part.

He is pretty much the perfect roommate.

Which is why making him a True Deity is now much higher on the priorities list. I defy something without divine ranks to succeed in blowing the mortal who revived you to deification out of your memory.

So, going to that pre-DOOM temple of Yss in jungle is now a must after Tyrosh.

You know, I am actually happy.
I don't mind getting dependent on him 'cause he is by his nature one of very few deities that won't fuck us over as long as we don't fuck him over.
As such, the more power he has - the lesser chances are of our entire party being wiped out from existence by some random cr-appropriate encounter in a distant corner of the world.

Yeah, yeah, I completely realise that this sort of bullshit is reserved for ultimately super-rare occasions when it's appropriate thematically. Nor do I mind this Frosty being used, as we have killed it without as much as breaking a sweat.

Plus, we're likely to have much, much closer relationship with him than the OG's, and what we have now with them is pretty damn amazing already for someone not set in being their servant.

A full-powered Bro-God-Snake with a following?
Yss please.
That was terrible, I know.

@Snowfire Maybe acknowledge and prepare for Rhaella being slightly afraid of us? If she is, hugs and handholding might be too bold? Thoughts?

Now that the battle is over, can someone comment on this?
So, with all these talks about nerfing and tier 1 classes, I just remembered a thought I had when reading suggestions for bringing Viserys closer in power to his prepared casters companions. While Blood Wish™ is good and all, why has nobody suggested to use a classic solution from Pathfinder, as we already use so much from there? Make reskinned and maybe rebalanced version of Paragon Surge (preferably pre-errata), just refluff it for human and dragon ancestry instead of human and elf. If you think it's too OP, then just upping its level to 4+ can compound on already existing issues of action economy and spell slot losses.

Any thoughts?
@TotallyNotEvil, @Goldfish, @Azel ?

People, chill!
The Old Gods have Death and Magic as domains, they should get a save.
And Bloodraven is in contact with them all the time, and can cast that Epic Alter Reality super-Wish spell.
Even that breath weapon may not be enough to permanently kill us!

The actual fuck? I've never seen a monster with at-will perma-death-that-no-sells-wish before.
It's from Dragonlance, which was basically homebrew for a long time, no wonder it is full of such bullshit.

by the way when are we going to meet Bahamut or are we one day going to takes his place if he is dead
DP mentioned a loooong time ago that Bahamut is alive and that he would resurrect Viserys if Dany rejected Tiamat's deal. Some kind of secret-test-of-character bullshit.
