Then they know for a fact we weren't lying about having the power to bring Elia back, and they get hopeful.

"You see see Mother, while yes there are some rumors floating about that I'm fond of making money, those are absolutely false. I'm not fond of it. I love it. I sometimes sneak away to nap on a justly earned pile of gold dragons."
I want, in fact, to take her to Doran and Oberyn. To show we are not, in fact, lying.
You are aware that you want to talk to dornish people there, right? Because they will probably demand we do the same for Ellya right the fuck now.I want, in fact, to take her to Doran and Oberyn. To show we are not, in fact, lying.

"Fine. I'll take you to a Weirwood; you can talk about the specifics directly with the Old Gods."You are aware that you want to talk to dornish people there, right? Because they will probably demand we do the same for Ellya right the fuck now.
Looks good.
And one of the things I love most about making money, besides the money part, is that it's something genuinely Viserys.
He comes up with the crazy schemes, the revolutionary ideas. He figured out how to game Yss knowing what would be sacrificed to him to make risk-free investments.
Anyone looks at his books will see at best vaguely familiar gibberish.
Lya's ability at commerce, for example, goes more or less like "I suppose people should pay with, uh, money? For stuff?".
*Our friendly reminder that the Dornish are pretty crappy allies. You are aware that you want to talk to dornish people there, right? Because they will probably demand we do the same for Ellya right the fuck now.

Yeah, but it would calm her down meanwhile, once she gets to see how well we are doing she will see why we should keep doing it.
We weren't ever a thief. Not in the traditional pickpocket-sneak way. We were associated with one of those thieves' guilds, yes, but that was always at arm's distance and over soon.
We mostly solved problems.
And half of the reason for doing it was cover. No one would look for us there.
obviously the two are the same series
So something to think about. Our mother is kind-of an obvious weakspot for us now. Any plans on crafting things for her that keeps her safe? At the very least, she needs Protection Against Evil.
You know, that does make me wonder if our mom is a potential PC, or at least has the chance to learn pick up some magic. It's not like she has that many responsibilities after she settles in, and it might help her relate to us better. Hell, Dany's probably going to be spending a lot of free time with her and it's not implausible that she imparts something.
Either way, I look forward to more interactions with the Mother of Dragons.
So it's about Tiserys Vargaryan and his busty lover Ayl?
As an important npc, dany can cast that ward that kicks in at health, it's costly to keep for combatants, but for non-fighting important people (Rhaella, Alinor, Hermetia, Ser Gerold (probably not, (also would like to switch two warrir levels to fighter.1/expert 1, or just gain an expert level)) lelia?)
Should have done this a while ago for alinor and hermetia.
You're talking about Stalwart Pact. I mentioned this a long while back for some of our people, but it didn't get a lot of traction because DP ruled we would have to use the Complete Divine version, which costs 250 XP per casting, rather than the Spell Compendium version which just costs 250 gold.
I think we can justify it for Rhaella, but at 250 XP a pop, everyone else is on their own.
I'm almost certain it was gold we payed, 50 (250/5) apiece when we used it against the mindflayer group near crackclaw before meeting lord Bryne.
I'd have to check.
(I'm looking forward to negotiating with the tritons with him, he's nice to talk to).
You put in the work for it. It's the same reason the votes for the Bloodraven Questions landslided for me.Hmm, let's have a quick look at things before I sleep.
You know...I'm not quite sure how I feel about landsliding every vote that I've taken interest in today >.>
