Missing capitalization.

@Mr Zoat: if Alan takes up a Blue Ring, will Hope bolster his Will aspect and prolong his lifespan?
It does at least seem likely that getting a power ring on his finger will help him.

I can't help but be amused that we got an entire update dedicated to resolving the argument we'd been having in the thread. XD Explains why Zoat never commented on it.

Hephaestus' domain is smithing. As I said, it isn't magic. He's perfectly capable of making a clockwork robot in what is nearly a cave with little more than a box of scraps, given sufficient time. Magic? Not usually his thing. He would have to barter for information, and then he'd be little better at using it than a Human. Or he could outsource, but he doesn't like doing that.

I have argue this. Hephaestus created Zeus's lightning Bolts, Poseidon's Trident, Hades's Helmet, and most of Perseus's gear. He can smith magical equipment regardless of his ability to use magic, which is unknown. Hecate is the Goddess of magic, because she's the best at it, not the only one who uses it.

Huh, I remember you telling me about Richard Swift way back when. How powerful is he exactly? I mean, damaging Wonder Woman and toying with the members of the Justice Society is a feat in and of itself, but power wise, is he cosmic level or is he toeing the line?

Jeez, I gotta start finding more guys like him in the DC verse.

Shade, indeed most if not absolutely all shadow manipulators in DC comics, draw upon a shadow dimension created by the Greater Darkness before it merged with the Hand that Krona saw make the universe.

Shade won the lottery of shadow manipulators, and, using the lantern corps as a guidelines, he's the closest thing the shadow manipulators have to an Entity since the Greater Darkness merged with god.

Powers shown- immortality, he can't die unless his shadow is stolen, create shadow demons that can develop minds of their own and/or summon demons from the shadow dimension, if not both, create or destroy darkness, create solid shadow constructs for defense and offense, teleport himself and others, time travel, and even imprison people in the darklands.

Power level wise, it once took the Starheart to put him in a coma, and Dr Fate told him that "the Spectre himself would have trouble with you."

If he thought of it, he could probably start producing shadow lantern rings and form his own shadow lantern corps.

Paul and Shade having some tea-

"Shadow lantern, really? A bit of a misnomer, don't you think?"

"Well, black lantern was already taken, darklight didn't do well with focus groups, shadow corps made us all sound like we belonged in a dungeons and dragons bestiary. More tea?"

The Gray Lantern Corps.

"So, ah…" Karon nods at the television playing silently in the background. "What's with her new look?"

"Diana's normal armour was made by Hephaestus. And you may have noticed, but it's basically a swimming costume."

Holly smirks. "You bet I noticed."
@Mr Zoat, do you really think it matters? I assumed since it was magic the enchantments worked like a D&D Bracers of Armor. Where the enchantments are centered in the physical item, but the effect spreads to cover the entire body. Orichalcum is used because it is a magic metal that takes enchantments well, and the actual spell effect may just propagate the durability of what you enchant over the entire body. (Enchant steel, it is only as strong as steel. Enchant Mithril, it is as strong as Mithril.)

Is really any reason to believe her bustier made by the God is Smithing is less effective just because it is not a burka?

No can do, shadow lanterns already exist. :)

Actually it's her bracelets that act like bracers of armor, sort of, if you squint- If she puts them together they can form a force shield that can protect even against force fields.

Probably not here though, since it logically would have come up with all the talk of her defenses

I might be wrong here, but the grammar seems a tad off.
Should this be: "Bialya has had dealings" or "Bialya had dealings"?
No, "had had" is correct here. It's the past progressive of "have" -- that is, over a span of history, Bialya dealt with Apokolips, but the statement is carefully avoiding any present assertions.
