Typo:

The fact it covers up the burns on her arms in just a nice bonus."
"is"

Possible typo:

"O-? No." I shake my head. "No, that… N-. No. I mean, she's my best friend's mother." Sniggers all around. "And even if this is a work of fiction, it's not that kind of work of fiction. Honestly, I don't think of her in that sort of way."
Is he supposed to be referring to them as fictional out loud? Or is the quote mark misplaced and he's talking to himself in his own head?

I think he just got done explaining everything that happened, and he's speaking in a way that makes it seem like he's joking. Making jokes based on what Ambush Bug did and said. He probably didn't just let it slip that they're fictional where he comes from.

@Mr Zoat here are the epubs I made up to now.
The Season 1 epub is completed and up to date as of 05/06/2016
The Season 2 epub up to date with the latest chapters and corrections

To be fair, he was telling them about Ambush Bug and the silliness earlier. To not mention it at all would be a bit meta, wouldn't it? Because it'd get brought up by the other characters. :p

Of course it would.

Big Barda isn't up on charges for what she did prior to coming to Earth(or for illegal immigration, actually), Batman is marrying a former high-ranking executive for the League of Shadows, Canis Minor was attached to the Junior Team after explicitly talking about killing people, and no one is exactly agitating to go after the Greek Gods for any of the reputed acts they committed against mortals.
And I'm pretty sure Accomplished Perfect Physician has killed people working for the Chinese state.

The League may seem to be Lawfully Stupid on occasion, but they are significantly more flexible than most people give them credit for.
None of those occurred in their time period or area of authority except maybe Talia, and Batman seemed like a massive hypocrite to many readers for that.

"What happened to them? The.. Pony princess and the pyromaniac and the Leopard guy?"

"I don't really know. I assume that Nightmare Moon joined the Orange Lantern Corps. Or.. will in the future
Wait! Nightmare Moon abdicating the throne and leaving Equestria means the Mane Six doesn't have a catalyst to seek out and awaken the Elements of Harmony, which will leave them vulnerable and unprepared against Discord, Tirek, etc.

Celestia: "Oh if only there was a villain to get my faithful student to activate her true potential!"
[boom tube opens and out walks Grayven and alicorn-SunsetShimmer]
Celestia: :drevil:
[later]
Grayven: "So you want me to play the villain so Equestria will be strong enough to defend itself?"
Celestia: "Yes."
Grayven: "AWESOME."
[later]
Grayven: (faking defeat) "Alas, I have been slain! Oh woe is me!"
Alicorn-SunsetShimmer: :eyeroll:

He murdered the guy who was supposed to become Accomplished Perfect Physician when he panicked during a cronfrontation with some monks. At the time he was a private in the Chinese Army. Other than that, no, he has never killed anyone. He's really only a member of the Great Ten on paper.
Thank you, corrected.

He's refering to Ambush Bug's belief that they were fictional.

@Mr Zoat I actually liked this episode, even if it was a bit on the different side. You're a bit of an inspiration with your continued updating. I'm curious as to whether you write these all the day you post or if you've got a bit of a buffer.

I post them at 06:00 local time. When do you think I sleep?

I've got about... Um, ten or so? As a buffer. I like to let them sit for a bit in case I come up with a way to improve them later. Grayven has a paragon trigger coming up as a result.

Huhhh
I was checking the statistics for Season 1 and 2 and I noticed this:
Season 1: 26 episodes in 590 snips and 725045 words so that is 22.692 snips/episode and 27886.346 words/episode and overall 1228.8898 words/snip
Season 2: 16 episodes in 491 snips and 588700 words so that is 30.6875 snips/episode and 36793.75 words/episode and overall 1198.9817 words/snip

So overall we have 7.9955 more snips/episode and 8907.404 more words/episode and overall 29.9081 less words/snip (so about 30 words less on updates of 1.2k words)
So in % we have 35.235% increase in snips/episode 31.942% increase in words/episode and 2.434% decrease in words/snip (which is barely anything)

So @Mr Zoat does that mean that now that you can write original episodes your creative juices are flowing better?

About how long does it take you to write a snippet? And how much of WTR did you have written when you first started posting it?

I ask because I've been working on the first snippet of a story for about a month now, and that doesn't fill me with hope for actually posting it, not to mention future updates.

Regarding the Shade, most of his villainy is a result of the psychotic cockney dwarf (who prefers to speak French, since he can't kick his low class accent when speaking English) he shares his body and power with.

Um, anyway, the other reason is because you never know when someone's going to fire something at you that actually can hurt you. Someone uses something that doesn't look threatening-" I turn my head to look directly at Jade. "-like poisoned lipstick-" She rolls her eyes. "-and you can end up looking like a right idiot."
Woo inclusion in the story!
So @Mr Zoat does that mean that now that you can write original episodes your creative juices are flowing better?
It's more that I go in with only a rough idea what I'm doing. The length change is more a failure in planning than anything else.
Normally don't correct normal comments because I think it's a bit asinine, but you're missing a closing bracket.

Three to four hours.
Jeez. I thought it would be much less than that. That's really impressive dedication to put in that much time so consistently for so long.

What are your thoughts on river travel? I hear Kahndaq's nice this time of the year.
Of course, admitting something in front of Jade, especially if he's going for her, would be... impolite.

Continuously, or spaced out over that amount of time? Either way that actually does make me feel better. I've probably spent less than two hours total on this first snippet.

First three sections, I think?
By sections, you mean snippets? Huh, I was expecting it to be more. I'm thinking of giving myself at least five, maybe ten, snippets of buffer from the start.

Or did you mean you had three episodes written out?

Thanks. Your response really does help. :lol
