It will need at least 15 years for our son to grow up and take the throne, until then if something happens to us and Gabriella it's a regency as I doubt that council will let kid run a country.
Also I'm pretty sure that we will solve this mistery with current character.

Since we didn't have a naval battle and the people's surrender shouldn't we have gotten Brochard's navy added. Or, did that navy decide to go rogue and become pirates.

Essentially what I meant by go rogue. The thing is those ships were not private property. They belong to the kingdom that surrendered to us completely. That means that they became mercenaries they stole from us and would be branded pirates.

Some of the more "loyal" captains sank or burned their ships at anchor rather than risk us capturing them. The remainder took their ships and the crews that didn't desert and became pirates.

This is a ck2 quest and we have a few in game years to personally teach our son stuff along the way. Our wife can help him understand to ways of a warrior, while we teach him in the ways of the coin. Right now he's young and this is the best stage of life to learn and absorb information.

Martial is the easiest thing for a stewardship leader to delegate away, as we are demonstrating. The ability to manage the economy and resources are an invaluable trait for a leader to have, not to mention the ability to engage foreign powers on the battlefield of words.

Why are you going with this one? This means that nothing gets a re-roll at all. Can I get you to go for young scholar instead? That option is the best one for tilting the scales for the genius trait when we roll for it.
