I like that the lore omake's show the writer's accent and origin, as it is fitting for a place like Griffonia to have many different accents and dialects.

Mein Gott, we can obliterate Sombrero, if... no, WHEN we find a way to load that kind of cuteness into our cannons. Quick, get Archimedes on this!
 
I would like to point out to people that we shouldn't recruit cannons to our army next turn. It would be better we complete the new furnaces first so it will (hopefully) cost less.

Inb4 Celestia and Luna find our multicultural society based on War and a Warriors bond and look on in horror.

I was just thinking Gwyndlyn Golden-Feather being Designated Regent. Really it's better than being in the line of successon. You get to be queen sometimes, but you can also hand it off and take long brakes.

Edit: you know, I just realized I could totally make an omake off of that... Not sure what angle Id do it with though. Maybe build it off yakyakistan having something akin to sumo and griffons adapting it for their high flying capabilities...?

Heh, I can imagine Griffons starting up wargames as a required class in schools. Could eventually lead in some kinda Gryphon sport. I can just imagine the ponies views on the Griffin Empire being savages. Than again ponies might see Griffons that way anyways they are speciest.
 
speaking of equestria is there any way either we or they can meet each other without going through sombra's lands? i'm curious if we'll possibly meet them before or after we kick the crap out of the dark bastard

Oh, yeah. Mostly my thought process was:
Griffons need to train in combat that would make use of a griffons strengths
See what thr heck yaks do, maybe we can yoink something from them
Find they have a type of spar in a ring
Build off that, make a few variants involving just a plain mat, one with a bit more verticality and some ropes, one in a really large field, etc.
Eventually wrestling emerges from one of the ideas and gets spread around, helps gryphons deal with CQC at a young age and keeps up martial tradition

They are out somewhere in the world. There is no guarantee that they are near the Crystal Empire or even on the same continent as us. The only ones placed first were the ones around us the rest still need to be placed somewhere in the world.

I kinda want to see what the world map would look like atleast what shape our continent is hell for all know we are just on a small continent like Australia or something

We should be getting an expanded look soon. Now that we have scouted out Sombra's Empire we can see more of it. The reason we don't have a map of the rest of the place is that we haven't discovered it. Any and all maps are unless so we need to keep exploring before we are given more information. That is what happens when we leave the Era of a mad god that got its kicks out of rearranging entire landmasses.
