I think we should really try and get some men in the capital before it goes into a 1984 lockdown. So for that reason I dedicated Horatio and a token to it to do all we can to make it succeed and hopefully get a miracle.

Next since this kind of a slow burn turn I'm using a manpower on Anything we missed to get a feel of the action as well as to make sure we have no other surprises like this world apparently having fucking sea monsters.

Next I have Dana do some charity work since we haven't done as much of that as I would like. I chose QoL over the other option and gave it a token because I think improving our followers QoL is always good and with the token it should have greater than average odds of passing with Dana. I also took Helping Others to really get Greycliff in our corner and because they honestly need the help.

Finally I took Split Lungs because Monster Hunting is cool, it probably unlocks some new stuff going by Maiden's thoughts on monster corpses, and it also helps the sailors while being easier than the knight option.

So... Did our followers loot the materiel left behind by the auxilia? It's not exactly in our current doctrine, but a couple regular followers with a bit of training could be a useful support force using those mortars as distant fire support and whatever chimera can be salvaged to quickly transport them and the ammo.

In general our followers at this stage should steal all military hardware that isn't bolted down (and look for either a wrench or angle grinder to steal what is bolted down). They're basically an insurgency, having anything is more important than supplies or coherent logistics.

So do we need to worry about the Governor sending the auxilla out to purge the general populace of VM worshippers? We couldn't let them attack Graycliff for working with us, but if he's willing to purge people he could go after the cult's home province pretty easily.

Hell, he could set up prefab forts in both areas and force us to split our much smaller military or surrender a province. If he's dumb enough to completely turtle up that'd be great, but he could just as easily be setting up the defenses so that he can take more aggressive actions without increasing his personal risk much.

... Alternatively, do we know if he still has an off planet connection? He was willing to call down one external purge, why not another?

-[X] Expanding Further (DC 20+)
--[X] Manpower Action (0 uses left)

So, this gives us good odds on Helping Others which should also set us up to get more cult members and resources from Graycliff. Then Into the Capital has a +20 so it'll probably succeed, while Expanding Further gets +30 and might just Crit if we're lucky. Managing to get the next sized cult should both give us another action per round(All Hail Action Economy!). Also, crits help us on our way towards getting more stories and thus another domain, and if we have both the next scale cult and say, the Sorcery domain, well it'll probably be a lot easier breaking the siege.

Umm just a note but I asked Alectai on Discord and he said that manpower doeasn't really help Horatio infiltrate the capital

Thank you, that manpower action has been moved to Expanding Further, who knows maybe we'll get lucky and hit 100 on it.
Personally I think between us expanding to two new provinces and our recent victory our natural recruitment dice will get us most of the way to next sphere without the need for actions.

Better safe than sorry though, especially since even just speeding it a turn or two up will very much impact our ability to snowball out of control if we pick the right domain.

I don't think we can put multiple times the same Domain or the same Hero on the same action.

I can only wonder how dad is telling the story of the Battle of Graycliff and the defeat of the Auxilla of the loss of men, officers, and equipment (And going all 'siege time' in face of it.) to the rest of the population.

Only thing I changed was checking out what's in our backyard so instead of monster hunting in the ocean we'll be doin it on land, ya never know what's in the woods and this'll hopefully scratch that itch
SkySage24 Your plan doesn't have Layla nor Horatio in it

Edit- Changed under advice and criticism

Two things.
One, I feel vaguely robbed by your taking my plan name and putting Mk2 at the end. It is not Mk2. Sorry but I just feel this way.

Two. Layla literally cannot be assigned on Infiltration actions. Anything else we miss? Is an Infiltration action.
