I've been convinced to keep Flesh and no one has really given a reason to give the Scrolls away to either group I have been convinced that the Scrolls are both dangerous and a good in for expanding the Waystone Research Network.

Dwarves got Grudges, we paid for all the rest, so Manhorak gets the gold.
And we kept getting reminded that the quality of book scribing deals depends on the prestige and rarity of our collection.

Therefore we'll take them all.

Its the whole point of the expedition, and makes trading for the right to scribe books easier.

I missed the caveat on "the Carstein Ring's enchantment only works on vampires of Vlad's bloodline" but I still hold that it'll be valuable enchantment insight from a guy who was undeniably one of the greatest mages of all time.

Except you know, it would take actual effort to do so and it would get in the way us using his notes... a thing he would clearly want to do or he would not have made them. It is only paranoid loons like the Everliving who would go through the trouble.

We don't really need the money, and the dwarves already have their grudges reclaimed. This will be the most helpful.

Either of these helps build ties between anti-Vampire organizations.

Unlike the original Liber Mortis, the scrolls, even a copy, will be trapped. The Priory or the Templars are skilled and experienced at disarming this kind of stuff, while Mathilde has never read a book that's tried to eat her. They're prepared to deal with the scrolls, and we aren't. Better to turn them over and get whatever rewards we can out of them.

Vlad von Carstein remains a gentleman and a scholar who doesn't infest his books and notes with soul-rending traps. I'm sure he wouldn't mind lending Mathilde some more of his notes.
