Threads Of Destiny(Eastern Fantasy, Sequel to Forge of Destiny)

Voted best in category in the Users' Choice awards.
Wow, this was a really cryptic-lore heavy update. It has earned a few rereads to pock out all the datails, and yet I'm sure I will miss some.

Now onto the vote.

Complexity, as many have guessed, it's most likely about strenghtening stand alone techniques. Not only in power but also in versatility. To create Champions.
The problem I see here is that we don't have a lot of those? The only ones that come to mind are the Gods of BKSD, and we have only learned 2 out of 4.
Most of our constructs techniques are about creating many minor constructs, an army of them.

Coordination, on the other hand is about seamlessly combinating the techniques from our multiple constructs arts: FVM, PLR, BKSD, maybe even FSS+ if it ends up including constructs in it.
Heck, I could even include WHR and our Roaming Moon Eyes as well.
The point is, that Ling Qi's fighting style includes combining a lot of constructs techniques at the same time. We see it all the time on the narrative:
Shadow beasts standing up with fancy clothing. Reveliers gaining icy talons. And so on.

Coordination would be the perfect answer to merge all that mishmash into a coherent battle plan. All our techniques strenghtening each other.
Not only that, it's also the option that works best when we are fighting with companions.
Like Yu Nuan's cloud doggy fighting inside our mist back in the Thunder Palace.
For me it's just a better specialization.

Aren't we just picking final version of Phantasmal Mastery trait ? you are talking about our general Construct making strategy (champions vs general boost), but the
Phantasmagoria of Lunar Revelry: Yang, Moon, Chaos, Dream, Revelry
  • Phantasmal Mastery: You have tasted the cruel wine of isolation, and known the pain of loneliness. Is it any wonder then that the arts of conjuring have been core to you since the day that you first took up the melody of the Forgotten Vale. At your direction, phantoms and figments dance more deftly and with more mind, animated by the lingering dreams of a girl who can never forget loneliness. Grants the Phantasmal Mastery Trait, which increases the power and flexibility of summon techniques. Advances Isolation by 1 Step. (0/5)
is saying that the trait will "increases the power and flexibility of summon techniques".

So that would mean that we are choosing if the trait will eather:
Make our construct better (Complexity)(power) and we will need to figure out how to make them all work together,
Or we will need to figure out how to make our construct better while the trait will help them work together (Coordination)(flexibility).
And not actually a general strategy of how it will work. Because the strategy will always be the same exept one part of it will be boosted with the trait and we will have to use something else down the line for the rest.

[X] Coordination, making the disparate cacophony into a cohesive melody

This sounds like it'll lean in more with our domain. Mini LQ's for everyone!

There is very little to go on here and I fail to find a clear delineation between these two. So having slept on this I'm gonna go with:
[X] Complexity, weaving a smoother song from simpler measures

Mainly because we have had hints that Sixiang will participate in combat more actively going forward via their ability to inhabit one of LQ's summons. I would rather have them comtrol a more versatile constructs, than play a marginal role in a well coordinated swarm.

[X] Complexity, weaving a smoother song from simpler measures

i'm guessing complexity makes fewer better constructs whereas cooperation makes more numerous wearer ones.

Also out of curiosity:

Edit: We did just experience Reverie. So we have some really fertile ground for this insight methinks.

Good Coordination is gainig traction, there is a shot at overtaking.
I firmly think it's the best choice both from a cultivation and battle application standpoint.

Not only that, but "making the disparate cacophony into a cohesive melody" it's just such a good description of writing this quest, as well as Ling Qi's cultivation/build, it would be a shame to let the chance to explicitely include it pass.
