[X] Refuse the invitation

We have a pending obligation, and until it's clear how the time for fulfilling it will be put aside, I cannot in good conscience commit to an activity that might override or delay it for even a little while.

Ling Qi owes Yu Nuan her assistance in helping to find a spirit to bind. Considering that Hanyi had been interrupting Yu Nuan's own efforts for months, it can't be overstated how immediately we ought to be attempting to make good on the harm done and the service promised. Initially, I assumed we'd be penalized 1 AP to cover it, but since that wasn't the case at the start of this turn, it's quite likely that the activity was slotted into the SL category. SLing Yu Nuan doesn't really interest me, on pragmatic and narrative pacing grounds, but she is a pretty interesting character; more importantly, we super duper owe her our help and ASAP.

I categorically object to any possible delays in the strongest possible terms in this matter.

This is a good point if it is true. Do you have any reason to believe this other than a gut feeling that it should happen this month? Also please remember the fact that if we don't pick a social action that social action was never asked of us. So if we don't pick Yu Nuan then Yu Nuan never asked us. I really don't agree with skipping a sudden opportunity simply to gamble on fulling a responsibility a little earlier.

Hanyi interrupted ongoing efforts. We can only assume that gaining a spirit is a high priority of Yu Nuan's. It wouldn't make sense to delay further, or put off in some manner of indefinite quantum-uncertain state. It's also something we've already firmly committed to, and that delaying imposes costs on the other party involved. Somewhat similar to the Li Suyin SL, except more so. Less delay-able for sure.

Well, @yrsillar said there would probably be three arcs this month, so I assume either it's going to be the third or it's going to happen offscreen.

It would be silly to have us vote on it anyway.
Unfortunately, we vote on silly things all the time. It'd be weird to have it happen offscreen and with no time cost to us. It should reasonably be a fairly involved bit of effort. Tracking, research, planning, these are all aspects that can take significant investment. Now, Yu Nuan should be coming into it with a solid baseline of preparedness, but that still leaves coordination of relevant capabilities between her and Ling Qi, and the actual trip out to wherever to attempt the capture or bargaining to seal the deal.

This means AP cost or SL.

I agree. Offscreen was more in the case that we don't have three arcs this month.

Mmm, even beyond that, accepting the invitation offhand puts him in our debt, because we've implicitly taken time out of a very rigorous schedule to accomodate him above and beyond the mandate of courtesy--this will likely translate into a greater share of any spoils that might crop up in the adventure.

It is the gown. She got a cloak thing she can trigger on or off. Looks cool as hell when she flies with it.

"wings of starry shadows " is the description from the Bai battle.
It is her gown. Check the art.

Ah okay thanks. I guess I just missed that it's a winged cloak effect through it. I thought it was just sorta "magic flight" without explicit source like wings or whatever. Just been imagining it wrong in my head this whole time...

On one hand, my first rection is "nope, nope, nope, nope, hell nope".
But on the other hand, Li Suying.
It could also help with our money woes.

Tbh I'd prefer both Shen Hi and Xuan Shu over the Bai.

We can meet him some other time but for now I'm more interested in the loot or Zhengui's advancement.

Voters tend to passivity and acceptance. Gu Tai never took any initiative, so he lost all chance for screentime compared to Cai and Sect, who had the opportunity to show up in contexts other than their offers. Bao Qian by contrast makes an offer straight off the bat and voters lean towards acquiescence.

"I don't know, it seemed like a useful area of study to me, because I have never had a good time before." Ling Qi replied,
You dropped half a sentence here, I added it back. :)
"Of course you're worth it. Most talented musician in the South, luminous fairy of the winter moon, black left hand of the Cai, Best Big Sis! The name of Ling Qi rings from the mountaintops!" Sixiang announced grandly in her head.

It was a testament to her will and experience with Sixiang that her eyebrow did not so much as twitch, nor her polite smile falter.
Do we get passive training in not giving a fuck from having Sixiang in our head? Also I demand that she play our fanfare and announce us when we enter a room. Any room. Every room.
