Most talented musician in the South, luminous fairy of the winter moon, black left hand of the Cai, Best Big Sis!
I approve of every part of this. I can just see the Ling Qi that she will become when she earns even more monikers and these ones are fully realized.
I have a few expeditions lined up to prospect unsettled lands for jade, spirit stones and less valuable minerals. A man must keep busy after all. No good comes from standing still.
And that is the great rumbling of the Mathanatics stirring at the thought of wealth, loot and maybe, just maybe those pills we've all been drooling over in our dreams. Bao Qian also basically quotes one of Ling Qi's own insights which is big points for him. I'm still ambivalent of spending much effort on deciding husbandos but even without that this offers loot, Li Suyin time and connections for a beneficial trade partnership with the Bao. I don't think we should confirm which hunk to pick while Ling Qi is still in the Sect but experience dealing with suitors can't be a negative in light of Ling Qi's resolution last arc.
Prospecting unsettled lands also sounds like a early chance to scout for possible holdings for the future. If we find a piece of land with peaceful spirits, plenty of forests and farmland as resources for Zhengui to increase the bounty of and ancient ruins from old tribes long forgotten? Maybe even a small lake for some fishing and music. It a choice far into the future but it'll give us tease of what's possible.
