Unless there's something else going on not really, checking compatibility and desire is the whole point of match making and meetings. Plus, if we like them they've still gained an ally.
Now, the suitor might not take it well, or we abuse their generosity and lead them on or something, then sure. That might cause problems.

On Discord I was making jokes about how this update was taking a while, not because of the arts, but because of yrsillar's care in crafting the Fully Optimal Husbandotron 8000, and I just wanna say: called it.
