It's a special Traveler Charm that several of the other thread members came up with.

Using the Night-anam timbers from the market, the Hunger-anam teeth from the vestige, and the Mind-anam game piece we stole from Jin, the idea is to build and decorate a triptych-style box that can summon a demon/construct to fight for us.

The Night and Hunger anam will make up its body, and the Mind anam will give it enough mental presence to obey simple commands.

@Vesvius Would a utility charm for harvesting be possible?

Like... making a Low BT steel charm that's essentially a magic Swiss army knife? Or would the anam in the charm contaminate the materials we'd harvest or vice versa?

I suspect contamination would be an issue - there's a reason we use a slightly-pointy rock to harvest these things, and it's not because we're a pauper or playing Ark.

Could I get another one please?

I have a few ideas I want to float in Discord
  • Using ourselves as a source of Time aspected construction materials, just directly infusing the Time anam into a component or the charm
  • Using the Mind aspected game piece to accentuate the seeming intelligence of Time anam. Not boosting the entire thing of course, but providing an interface through which to interact with the part of its attention it turns towards us.
    • One specific example I was thinking of was taking one of the Beast aspected materials, and combining it with the Mind game piece and Time anam to create a dog with the mind of Time. Doggo get. Hound of Tindalos get.
    • Alternatively, making the Charm a direct addition to and expansion of A Moment of Eternity
  • The Night aspected wood from the caravan gives me two Time related crafting ideas
    • a super restful bed that let's you sleep faster but emerge more refreshed (thus earning more hours in the day)
    • a charm that throws a target forward into the future to the next dawn.

One quick note. A whole bunch of these questions are things that boil down to 'is this physically possible to do'. The answer is normally yes. The Kong Style is all about combining the instincts of the charmcrafter with the nature of the materials used, so most things are possible. Some things may not work as well as you had hoped, but that's part of the process too. You will still be able to try whatever you're after, but it might not be as effective. That's just Kong Zhi (and you) learning and growing as a charmcrafter. It'll happen. Don't worry when it does.

So in that grand spirit of self discovery, I am not going to answer any more 'is it possible' questions. Assume the answer is yes, because Kong Zhi certainly will. And then we'll discover how well it actually works together.

For a harvesting charm, I get the feeling that Miststeel is EXPENSIVE(given that Kong Zhi, who is from a crafting clan, has had his miststeel tools for a while), so we'll likely have to just live with/deal with any anam contamination if we go that route.
