The Long Founding (Warhammer 40k)

[X] Plan: Cerberi of Obscurus.

You know, I just realized something about the Long Founding:

Wouldn't this incentivize other Genators/Inquisitors to make their own Space Marine Chapters?

Sure, they'd need to be hidden and obscured like from ThunderOwl's quest, but these mean that there'd be more Space Marine Chapters out there that are founded outside the major Foundings because of the precedent set by the Long Founding.

You know, before the creator of Space Marine scrapped the idea, Titus was supposed to form his own Space Marine chapter.

Does that mean we could see Titus having his own Space Marine chapter? Who knows.

probably not. the only reason the long founding is allowed to exist is because G man cleared it.

I can see this happening, with chapters being made legally, it would be easier to sneak a few illegal chapers, just disguise their making as a long founding one, and then mark them as fallen in the first decade while they are moved to where they want.

Grimm answer to this would be fun too, maybe create a chapter to uncover these chapters?

Just found this yesterday, and after reading all of it had to ask concerning requests, how heretical are they allowed to be? I had some ideas for them ranging from creating a chapter that can recruit abhumans like Ogryn and ratlings, to crossing the gender line( I just know there would be a ecclesiarch that would want to give his sisters of battle some more oomph) to a dedicated xeno fighting chapter that splices a bit of the material of the xenos they fight.
Would they be possible to propose here? And sorry if it was asked before

About Woman Space Marines...Frog seems to prefer to just ignore idea of women transhumans and/or posthumans created by Emperor.
Ok enough about female Custodes and the question of weather or not they existed.
So I have to assume that's a no for this quest.

The Abhuman recruits would be bad politically for the Chapter and mixing Human and Non-Human genetics is just Heresy. So I can see Radicals doing that in the Imperium but I'm not sure if Frog will allow it. I have suspicion that this request:
[ ] ???: A group of Inquisitors have given you an… extremely eclectic list of planets they'd like you to put Chapters on. You don't know what they're up to, and given the Inquisition is involved you quite frankly don't want to know.
Goals: Create a Chapter on a planet with the (Hybridis Approved) tag.
Was done by Xenos Hybris, Radical group of Inquisitors who believe that only by learning from and cooperating with Aliens, Humanity can survive against the horrors of the cosmos such as Chaos. So if I'm correct, we can create Chapter with something like that as a theme but I doubt it will be full on genetic engineering on the part of the Chapter.

Also, from what I saw, Frog doesn't take request propositions but does take inspiration and under considerations people ideas but nothing more, he can create new requests being inspired by your ideas but nothing more. But, again, this is my understanding of things, take it with grain of salt. If you want real answer just message Frog.

  • [X] Plan: Cerberi of Obscurus.
-[X] Luna Wolves: Prideful and powerful in equal measure, the gene-seed of the Luna Wolves, who once bore the name of the Sons of Horus, has always been of excellent stock, with the biggest problem being mostly political in the form of their tendency to... well. To be blunt, a significant number of them are the spitting image of the Arch-Heretic. Sadly, in this day and age that political problem is an immense one - and very difficult to actually deal with.
    --[X] 2 Charge of Potent Gene-Seed.
    --[X] 1 Charge of Legendary Gene-Seed
-[X] Sarzaz: A death world of varying climate, with deserts, tundra, jungle, forest, ocean, grassland, and more to be found. The weather is not exceptionally terrible, but the murderous wildlife is as varied as it comes.
    --[X] 1 Charge of Adaptive Gene-Seed

-[X] Muzuzu: A planet that seems to be composed entirely of forests that are continuously on fire, the trees being able to burn for centuries before actually dying - while young trees that haven't yet reproduced are so flame resistant that there is no fear of ignition up until they are fully grown. This has led to an… interesting view during the nighttime.

[X] To beat back the night.
[X] Plan: Wolves Of Light v2
[x] PD-969: A forest world inhabited by monstrous ladybugs capable of fighting Leman Russ battle tanks and emerging the victor. Even the base species is a major threat, but the various subspecies include one that is constantly on fire - without harming itself, somehow - and one with a reversed color-scheme that seems capable of reviving from the dead if it's body is not utterly destroyed. You have another migraine.

[X] Noas: A fairly standard oceanic death world, with whale like monsters called 'Blips' capable of swallowing a titan whole and shrugging off direct hits from orbital bombardment.

    --[X] Use one potent Gene-seed
-[X] Kjuru: A rocky world that frequently wars with the nearby Orks. Interestingly enough, the planet is also home to a religious movement known as 'The Confederation of Light' - something the burgeoning Ecclesiarchy seems to have issues with. Too bad for them, you don't care.

I really hope that we finally will made chapter without extra chaplains, librarians or politics...
No extra training for this Chapter...So, I guess you will get your wish.

Anyway, I want to go with Deepstrike and either Assault Packs or Assault Bikes for this Chapter. Luna Wolves were always good at "going for the enemies throat" tacticts and destroying enemies leadership, so the Chapter being good at it to honour the original Legion and Garviel Loken is good idea in my opinion.
I kinda want extra Champions since this is the Eye Of Terror sector.
Hmm. Yeah, we yet to use it, so what about Champions with Assault Packs?

NAME IDEA: Sons of Loken
You know what? Yeah, let's do this. Fuck it. For all we know Grimm met Garviel personally at some point or heard of him somewhat. Justification's don't matter, let's just mindfuck Abaddon till he starts having nightmares of Garviel returning from the dead and haunting him and the rest of Traitors.

But, if we want to be more subtle, we can call them Sons of Cerberus.

I think we should save the sons of cerberus name for the chapter that get the cerberus dreadnaught.
