hmmm instead of specialist ammo we go with more devatstators? heavy bolters are included in the testing right?

so marksmen, techmarines, and heavy weapons for maximum dakka?
Marksmen and techmarines most defiantly. for extra equipment i would say ether heavy weapons or specialist ammo. but also remember the bolter trait is both a buff and debuff so choosing extra heavy bolters may be determinantal to the chapter

We should probably choose specialist ammo this may be better for the chapter then risking getting heavy bolters that are as useful a a club or having the chance to explode

[] Plan: Fill that empty hole with Dakka!
[ ] Marksmen: Even among Space Marines, the marksmanship of the Chapter is top of the line.
[ ] Techmarines: This Chapter has more Techmarines in its ranks than normal, improving the quality of their equipment and allowing them to create a greater quantity of advanced wargear.
[ ] Politics: This Chapter has grown adept at manipulating the surrounding political landscape. A sad necessity, in the increasingly politically driven Imperium.
[ ] Heavy Weaponry: The Chapter is well supplied with heavy weaponry, and can field a larger proportion of Devastator squads.

The Extra Tech Marine training will hopefully fix that.

I figured that specialist ammo will broaden what this chapter can do with their bolters instead of just giving them more of a certain type of bolter

They're already getting special ammo? Not to mention the requesting forge world will probably be annoyed that we're not using their Bolts.

@RedWake is correct. Chapters tests Bolters and only Bolters. Specialized Ammo, just gives special rounds the Chapter needs to shoot in the first place.
-Randomized Bolter Quality: The bolters of this chapter tend to be of a highly variable quality - some being among the best ever produced, while others... are only good as a physical bludgeon to hit the enemy with.

[ ] Specialist Ammo: The Chapter has a ready source of specialized bolter rounds, letting them bring the best possible ammunition for any engagement.
The Forge World gives the Chapter weapons, not the ammunition the Chapter shoots with said weapons. There's no reason for the Forge World to be angry, they might be even flattered that the Chapter is commissioning the best and most fitting ammunition for the Forge World, obviously, perfect bolters, which are always of highest quality and there's nothing wrong with them at all.

roll nat 1 when fighting orkz, the orkz feel so much pity for you and your cardboard cutouts of guns that they hand you their scrap made guns cause they work better than yours just so they can even start to have a propa dakka fight.
I think if it ever go that far it's likely that our chapter will have Words with the mechanicus of Murphius and i wouldn't be surprised if it resulted in some dumb fucker being servitorized or at least loosing a lot of their power/prestige.

-[ ] specialist ammo

Oooh, I like.

Marksmen+ Techmarines+ Politics+ Specialist ammo sounds perfect for what we want, It should leave them really, really good at dancing between Forge world politics.

-Bargaining: This Chapter believes that Ferrus Manus's death at the hands has left a hole within the hearts of his gene-lineage, one that desperately needs to be filled. They will constantly seek out a way to fill it, though they will stop short of outright Heresy.
Poor Iron Hands successor still got a Stages of Grief trait. Although giving them Law training might lead to some interesting synergy between their homeworld choice and this trait.
