Onto the Dream I think so genuinely that Dorne war would be the mosfun option, and trcks with the incredibleinfluence Tarly has on us. and wins us a lot of allies. We pull haalf the rach and most of the Stormlnds if we're seen as the Conquerorof Dorne or the Vehicle by which they can conquer it. Its a blck mark on our fmily name and we should work to rectify it. I do know tha that might be a bit much for thread so I thik the Exemplar could be fun. it pulls us in a direction I think wouldbe fun and really like, reinforces a reallynice duality with Daemon, the Drgon Knight vs the Rouge Prince on tourney grounds is the shit songs are written of, andduring the dance? its a strong like, vision.

why...would we do either half-heartedly? we've been powess maxxing prettyeffectively, and I really dont think picking up two skills (warfare and Law) with 3+2 free actions potentially would be, very difficult at all? specilly when we are surrounded by very capable tutors in both regards

I should note I originally had an idea for a Dream that was "Build a cadre of allies" basically Rhaenyra forming her own mini council of friends and advisors before becoming queen. But it felt much more mundane than any of the other goals. Like it's not really something that feels like Rhaenyra would aspire to, more like a goal she would make on the way to actual goals.

I'm pretty certain that I don't want Rhaenyra to get tunnel visioned into Prowess even harder when she's aiming to be a dragonriding queen - someone who needs to win allies and rule competently, and with her greatest weapon being a dragon. It was really awesome to prove ourselves to the Realm, to get knighted and even earn the family blade of Valyrian steel, and I'm sure that knighthood will continue to pose challenges of both the martial and the social kind, but we don't need to aim higher than where we are now.
In other words, I'd choose to spend an action every other turn on riding Syrax or learning law over more Prowess training in a heartbeat.

It's honestly really sad that Rhaenyra just, can't bring herself to view her half siblings as actually being part of her family. It's understandable given how much stress she's had over a potential brother, but still a shame. Maybe we can help her get past that a bit if we want to put the effort in, but I dunno how committed we can be to that.

Rhaenys may truely control House Velaryon Dragons, but what if Daemon weds Laena? That would mean Daemon has at least two dragons including Vhagar. Additionally, Rhaenys fought for the Blacks during the Dance despite claims that Daemon and Rhaenyra had Laenor (her only son) assassinated.

The question is whether we need to secure the Hightowers, or if chances are our friendly relations to Gwayne and Alicent, and Otto's animosity towards Daemon, means they'd support us anyway.
Though I suppose Gwayne, son of a second son, would have the advantage of not entangling succession lines (unlike Harwin or Laenor) and would probably respect us as the head of the household.

Ngl, I could easily see that. If Viserys's words about making enemies where she could have had allies hit her hard, and she thought of what it would mean to become a queen when most of her subjects don't believe she should be on the throne. After all, to sit on the Small Council is also something of an important step towards future rule, so securing an actual bloc of allies and supporters for herself despite all the challenges in that could be a goal in and of itself.

If Rhaenyra had not gotten that vision or got it after the twins were born, I'd allow it. But as it is now that's basically a dream to do something that basically requires a number of stress giving actions which doesn't really make sense to me.
I am in favor of keeping up with the Prowess training. I want Rhaenyra to truly become the greatest fighter in the Seven Kingdoms.
