Keep in mind with the djinn we are up to 33 summons and right now we are at only 20 summoned at a time.
Not to mention powers like double dice and increased gain will help get us the big summons, rejection to so we can skip if we only have options that do not add.
Hmm, looks like only Amy and Collin are the only ones with Data, but neither knows what all our summons do. I mean, some of our mechs are similar to the machine army of Tennessee, so we can't be that alien.
I didn't say anything about the energy near my heart but I was sure that I was the magic from The Libra or the ink for the Celestial Brush. That part could remain a secret.
That thing irks me. There is no suchthing as blank Energy she could describe. Plus if Shards can detect magic it would also mean they can interact with it and so learn to understand/use it. While we know they are locked out of such metaphysics/conceptual things because they are full materialistic beings.
So Amy shouldnt be able to see that 'Energy'. She could notice its effect on flesh and that there must be something because things happen for no reason she can see.
She should only be able to see effects but not Magic that is their cause.

I get what you mean, and I mostly agree with you on that. I want Amy's shard to detect something, what they detect is not clear to them (or even to me). But when giving info to Amy they say Energy because it's the simplest thing to say.
I'm really happy that we gained a Djinn and a pretty useful one at that.
Courtesy of Omnimercurial we also gain a new theme, Mist. It's a theme he created himself and that will be added to the V4.

We were barely starting our journey, only running at the moment, less than 1km when I spotted a police car coming from the other direction. I immediately stop to wait for them and dismount, leaving my partners behind.
"Wait for me on Rainbow back. I want to talk to them."
I walked a few meters from my mount and raised my arms. I don't want to appear menacing, well more menacing than visibly controlling an elephant-sized tiger. Even if I very much doubt that simple guns could really hurt me, not beyond my ability to heal anyway.
The police cars stopped a good 20m away but it didn't open immediately. I could see two officers inside, a man and a woman. They were talking on the radio. Despite my enhanced hearing, I couldn't hear clearly what they were saying. I'm pretty sure I heard the word parahuman, big cat, and explosion.
Obviously, someone heard the ruckus we made and called the police, perhaps a farmer. I wait patiently for them to come to me.
The two officers were visibly debating on who would confront me. After a few more minutes of waiting, the woman got out but hid behind the car door and weapon at the ready.
"Police of Fogridge, Identify yourself!"
"I am Compendium, Protectorate ENE. I was traveling toward Ironwood Max Security Prison when we were attacked by Hookwolf."
She whispered toward her partner without turning her head but I heard her anyway. "Compendium? Never heard of him. You?" He shakes his head and responds. "No, but Hookwolf reminds me of something, a Villain I think. I'll call central." He grabs the radio.
The woman addressed me. "Wait a moment." After a pause. "Please."
I simply nodded, I could wait. While waiting the Menagerie triggered again.
Oh, that one looks very nice./Yes, a sort of two-legs red alien thing but with power in spade./Fire-based power, I can feel the heat from there./It's also not a normal creature, like Bakugami it doesn't seem to have a physical presence./He doesn't have a weapon shape either.
I was itching to test it right away but it really wasn't the time. My partners were watching anxiously from the back of Rainbow but I nod in their direction, things were going well so far.
After a few more minutes the policewoman put away her weapon and walked closer to me. Seeing that the situation seemed to be resolved, I slowly lowered my hands.
"My superior confirmed your identity. Can you tell me what happened? Your costume is not in good shape, but you seem healthy."
I proceed to recount the events of this morning. I didn't say why I needed to go to Ironwood Prison, that I needed to know information, even if it was apparently already compromised. I detailed Hookwolf's surprise attack, explaining the state of my costume but that I was able to heal myself. I mentioned the death of Umit. I add that I was forced to kill Hookwolf during our battle, but I didn't give any detail. In any case, she didn't comment about that, she even looked relieved. I could understand that for an unpowered person, even an armed police officer, the idea of a villainous parahuman roaming in the region wasn't reassuring.
"So that's what happened. But my mission is too important to be abandoned, so I decided to continue by my own means." I gesture toward Rainbow and the others. "These here are projections of mine."
She gave a wary glance toward them but didn't say anything.
"I need to ask you a favor, well two in fact. First, could you pass the word on the way that I will be passing through with my colorful entourage? So that your colleagues don't panic?"
"Yes, we can do that easily enough."
"Great thanks. And the second thing, could you secure the crime scene? At least until the PRT gets there, but we're an hour out of Brockton Bay so it will take them a while."
"Yeah, we can do that. Anything special we should pay attention to?"
"Yes, multiple things. First, the destroyed car contained the body of my driver, it's not pretty but please be respectful. There is a big crater, with a lot of melted metal and the remains of Hookwolf. I don't care much about that but my boss will probably want to have a look. And finally, there's a blue pickup truck by the side of the road, it's important evidence and must be secured."
"Very well sir, we'll take care of that."
"Thank you, I'll be on my way then." After a nod of thanks, I walk back toward Rainbow and quickly climb on.
Leaving the police officers behind we began making double-time, first just running but quickly I directed Rainbow to teleport each time he got a clear enough line of sight. In this way we found ourselves going much faster than by car. When we reached a small settlement I chose to go around it, no need to cause a panic. A number of people did a double-take upon spotting us but we were gone too fast for much more than that. At some point, I stumble upon a number of people pointing and looking at the sky with binoculars, birdwatchers perhaps?
Another time, I spotted a local hero. I didn't remember her name but I knew she was able to create some sort of field that would attract things toward her. She spotted me too but didn't try to stop me.
On the way, I received another gift from the Menagerie, yet another transformation power. A mist or fog-like effect. I would need to try at some point.
Pretty soon we reached the edge of the prison-controlled zone. It was a big empty field 2km in diameter with the big prison complex straight in the middle. I slowed down a little bit before reaching the fenced area. The portal was protected by at least a dozen guards. I could see two big turrets on each side of it and two armored trucks with their own turret on top parked nearby.
I was pretty confident in my own resistance, but not that much, so I stopped at least 50m away and slowly approached on foot. I stopped when a guard came and shouted at me.
"State your name and purpose!"
"I am Compendium, Brockton Bay Protectorate. You're expecting me."
"Yes, but not like that. You were supposed to come by car. Explain yourself."
Damn, this guy got balls. "We were attacked on the way, my driver didn't survive."
He winced at that but relaxed a little. "Very well, give me your security code."
I did so and rejoiced inside, my mission was a success. Soon I would be bringing criminals directly here, bypassing any attempt by the Empire to rescue them.

Nothing to say for that one.
For the roll, 300 points, thanks to the previous interlude.
Once again 2 major 200 point powers that will help us out a ton and the longer we delay on getting them the worse off we are. Also well, we reached our destination. Curious if the people watching the sky were looking for something else.

Double dice and Increased Gain
Double Dice-when we pick creature we roll 2 dice to see what categories we roll in and then roll in each, we also can take both creatures if we can afford it and with enlarged dice we would be running on 6 possible choices
Increased Gain- we gain an extra 20 points per 100 points, extra points mean we get more powers and summon

Something like 1/60(don't quite me, I have to double check how many powers are in this category), but with our new meta dice, then the odds go up.
edit: Okay, so it's 1/100. Getting either bumps the odds to 2/100, and the meta dice boosts this to 6/100; rolling 1 above or below the desired power would get it as an option.
We have 15 powers that we already rolled and cant be obtained again (we have 2 that we can pick up twice) and a lot of the 0 point powers allow a reroll as well. There are 100 powers though as mentioned we are down to 85 and as mentioned the 0 point powers let us reroll as well and with enlarged letting us hit 3 slots at once.
Edit- looks like we have 6 0 point powers that allow rerolls left
Edit 2- also outside of 1 roll we will be able to grab at least one power with 300 points and thus reduce the number of powers to work through the next time (only one spot that has 3 powers next to each other that are all over 300 points).
It should if we chose it, we get the 0 point power and then reroll and have a new set of 3.
There are 6 that we can get in the power category right now. Also looking at it most powers are 300 or less so if we do 300 point rolls on powers we all but guarantee we get a power (and just imagine how many more points we would have if we land increased gain).
