Hahaha, holy shit. What a first mission that was.
Anyway, plan voting.
[x] - Fuinjutsu:
[x] - Reverse-engineering the controllable, detonable shuriken.
[x] - Try to improve your basic chakra storage seal.
Getting remote detonated tags on all our shuriken gives us a potent wide-spread ranged option that costs little chakra, and improving our storage seal should continue to be a priority throughout training. Both are very good choices.
[x] - Ninjutsu
[x] - Learn more Fire Release techniques
[x] - Learn more Wind Release techniques
[x] - Learn Wind Release techniques from the Ravens
My "Nevermore" omake is canon, which means that learning from the Ravens can let us integrate Ninjutsu into our swordplay. Beyond that, progressing Raven Summoner (I) is a good idea, and with our new Chakra Control level, we can afford the 90 chakra it costs to summon the Great Raven. This is my top pick.
[x] - Genjutsu
[x] - Learn more wide area Genjutsu
As I mentioned, I think we should start transitioning away from a Genjutsu focus. This isn't a priority for me, right now.
[x] - Kenjutsu
[x] - Improve the ranged aspect of your chakra flow
[x] - Learn to use chakra flow with only shape manipulation - just in case you have to face a fire user
Covering weaknesses is more important than advancing strengths - that's why our build has been so generalist so far. Having ranged chakra flow for better EXCALIBAAA sword beams is nice, but we
will have to fight fire users at some point. Close the gap.
[x] - Iryojutsu
[x] - Attempt to learn the Chakra Scalpel
[x] - Attempt to improve your Mystical Palm jutsu.
Our healing has been shown to be good enough for field work, which is all we need. We're done with this, I believe.
[x] Plan Quoth The Raven
[x] - Kenjutsu
[x] - Learn to use chakra flow with only shape manipulation - just in case you have to face a fire user
[x] - Ninjutsu
[x] - Learn Wind Release techniques from the Ravens
[x] - Fuinjutsu:
[x] - Reverse-engineering the controllable, detonable shuriken.
Edit, comparing to other plans:
Very similar to "Path to Senjutsu", and I'll likely merge if this doesn't take off. I'd argue that finally nailing the use of ranged exploding shuriken is a more immediate improvement to our abilities, and keeping our Explosive Fuinjutsu stat at D-rank (
genin level) is downright terrible. Both Fuinjutsu actions should progress the main Fuinjutsu stat the same amount, so it's not a major tradeoff in terms of long term goals either.
