Here is the Detailed Rune List

On Thread Etiquette:

I'm not going to weigh in on the logic of either side's arguments, but I will ask that everyone read over what they write and really consider if the words they used are polite and won't be inflammatory intentionally or not. You cant account for people's tolerances perfectly but at least try to say your piece without saying things that can be easily construed as overly dismissive of the other side of the argument, thank you.

Please endeavour to be cordial. :^)

I believe this power lies with the Ancestral Wheel of Cheese which as the Burudin so helpfully put it, seems to be the sole remaining Ancestor artifact that Clan Thungnison retains possession of.

I hope we get the runes on Gormwand and its full list of abilities. I was not expecting the golden veins thing to be part of its repertoire.
Well looking at this list clan Thungnison may still have the Runic tablet.
Prompted in part from questions in Discord, I can reveal a few things regarding a few Ancestral artefacts in more detail. The list is obviously not exhaustive, but I figure these are the ones that you guys care about/or Snorri won't need a dedicated interlude to figure out where they are.

*Beholds the creation she has spent three tears planning finally approach fruition*

Its a good day.

Now lets just hope Skaud doesn't eat Snorri when its done LMAO! :V :D

Can you imagine the mess that comes out, not when they find Yorri has the wand(he's old enough and related enough to Thungi). It's first when they find out he's Snorri's Master, and second when they find out even Snorri thinks Yorri is a bit too Radical. Finally, when they realize that Snorri's lineage has 2 of the 4 artifacts.

I also love the response Yorri has to the Eye. It shows how old he is, as he knows to have a replacement ready before ripping an eye out, unlike the Plaitling

There's still going to be a mess, size depending on how much info Yorri reveals. His true history is only known by the oldest of Runelords like Alric. So to the wider realms, if he doesn't reveal he's Durin's apprentice or how close he is related to Thungni, everyone's going to be very confused how this unknown has Gormwand. If he reveals the Durin connection, that opens a whole new can of worms especially once people make the connection that that means Snorri is in Durin's direct apprentice lineage. Meanwhile the Burudin chat is cackling because Yorri finally decided to show up and stop sandbagging.

Finding out durin's line has solved durin's constertation as well and made the first mega gronti and a flying mega gronti. Age of wonders indeed. Imagine if Snerra reveals she found one of thungnis artifacts as well?

-- Combo, Empowered Waking: [Master Rune of Waking, Rune of Empowerment, Rune of Siphoning]: ???. The effects of the Rune of Empowerment are improved, and recovery time is now a quarter of the time afterwards.
-- Snorri's Mythical Creation of Note, Skaudardrengi:
— The bones take shape, a skeleton larger than a building and lighter than any can reckon. Layer by layer, Adamant muscles are layered over it, beaten into form.
Combo, Empowered Awakening+/???: [Master Rune of Monumental Waking [x2 T4 Ancient Greedy Troll's Heart], Rune of Empowerment [x2 T4 Dragon Ogre Shaggoth Heart], Rune of Siphoning [x2 T4 Ancient Greedy Troll's Heart].] The effects of the Rune of Empowerment are tripled, and recovery time is now a quarter of the time afterwards. Passively runs at higher performance when ambient magic allows, faster and stronger than other Gronti its size.
By the Hammer and Staff of Thungni
— (To be revealed)
I am so excited to see what else is revealed about this combo. There is still more to come. All the changes in bold so far are Reagent based (this is the kind of thing Hearts do).

What else is gonna happen yoooo? Hella hype.

Look, I don't know what to tell you at this point, I don't have calculations, diagrams, or any technical shit for you to look at. Why? Because I just can't be fucked to make shit like that for a quest. All those tiny technical details? In my opinion that's just best left to the in universe characters that actually know what they're doing. Cause I don't know how large an actual bolt thrower is, how much room each should have to operate, or a hundred other tiny details like that.

This whole discussion cropped up because a turtle Gronti design popped up in the thread. So I brought up the similar if much larger turtle design that was discussed a while ago in the discord and mentioned that, with the advent of the Giant Works and MR Monumental Waking, it could be improved by simply making it larger. Then you kept asking questions which I did my best to answer from memory and the top of my head seeing as it's just an idea I had, nothing more.

So when you said that the idea should be thrown out in favor of fucking wagons without giving an actual reason for why the base idea was unviable in some manner, I'll admit, that pissed me off a fair bit.

So let me start from the beginning to an extent and simplify this idea for you. Really big turtle Gronti. Big enough for all our engineers to have their seige engines inside for convenient transport, protection, utilization, and added mobility on the battle field over regular field artillery. Improvement over original: Big enough for them all to have the space needed to fire on the enemy, even if the enemy are all in a given singular direction, be it in front, behind, or to a side if necessary.

Further detail is simply in generalities and guesstimates. Anything past that is, again, in my opinion is simply best left for the characters themselves to smooth out. If someone really wants to flesh this out with diagrams, numbers, measurements, and whatnot, have at it.
Do you want to keep discussing this/ move it to PMS or drop it, since the new update dropped
Huh, I thought terrestrial turtles where tortoises and that was the definition, learn something new every day.
Holy shit Yorri. You had THAT?
Gets artifact of god
Doesn't wanna tell anyone to avoid responsibility
Be Snorri
Pic unrelated.

Like student like master :p

Is there a chance that the rarity of Skaudardrengi upgrades from Mythic by the time it is done?

Wish more Peerless Production rolls had procced.
There's nothing above Mythic. T5 is the final tier and just extends forever upwards, to items like Widowmaker.

It will be a Wonder, since its going to have many very good pieces of equipment, which means it will get a neat color denoting the sheer number of Runes involved.

Mythic is the highest tier. Theres nowhere to upgrade to.
Wonders seem to be reserved for things of high cultural impact rather than being a sign of power so we cannot say what will make or not make Skaur a wonder or not.
I edited it a bit, I wanted it to reflect Vragni's mythical deed with that colouring but people understandably read it as something else, communication error on my part but the Citadel IS a Wonder.

Is there a diff between A normal Mythical and the Wonder
Scope, amount of actual Runecraft and people involved, but both are t5. Wonder is just a subset of Mythical. Like, if you look at the Gronti you've made, its equipment is its own set of creations different from a Gronti proper. A Wonder is an aggregate/plural and has a collective element to it. Its a subset of Mythical because I like pretty colors don't worry about it if u wanna get doylist though.
We do know what will make something a wonder or not.

- [Late 504] The sister Holds of Karak Varn and Zhufbar make a new announcement perfectly in line with this Age of Wonders. Using their portion of the grand windfall that comes from the newest Gromril strike, the Masons and Engineers of both Holds declare that they shall create a thing to match the wonder of Lord Morgrim. A grand series of causeways to connect the two Holds. Not beneath the earth, but rather above it! Spearheaded by the Guildmasters of each Hold's Engineers Guild chapters, this Skybridge, shall span kilometres of open air with simple mastery of the physical principles. And once its value and skill is proven, there can be no doubt that the chapter in Everpeak shall also participate. The necessity of such a bridge? Bah. Don't listen to their prattle, this is first and foremost a vanity project.

Just when you thought the Underway would be hit the worst by the Time of Woes, these guys decide to build a skybridge. That's not gonna end well when the mega-earthquakes hit.

"Faster and Stronger than other Gronti it's size" and it's fucking massive. It's really goddamn strong. And that's apparently before we see the effects of being made at an Arcane Fulcrum during a storm of magic. Will we pull a Morni and upgrade it with a bound elemental? A beneficial extra effect wholly separate to the runes it bears?
