I'm not going to weigh in on the logic of either side's arguments, but I will ask that everyone read over what they write and really consider if the words they used are polite and won't be inflammatory intentionally or not. You cant account for people's tolerances perfectly but at least try to say your piece without saying things that can be easily construed as overly dismissive of the other side of the argument, thank you.

    No way Snorri will wield it. He'll have an aneurysm trying to decide that the reason he will inevitably shave his beard is because he either does something that damages the hallowed relic or because he insulted Thungni by just thinking his hammer is of such poor quality as to be damaged just like that. :V

    More like he'll probably remand it to the care of the Runesmith's guild while claiming the right for himself, Yorri, Karstah and maybe his apprentices, to study it.

    I don't know if he can afford to or should decide to house it in Khazagar. That'll likely be the straw that broke the porter beardling's back for a lot of traditionalist dawi.

    I do not think anything beside Go Together ever had a chance of winning and to be fair it is also the right choice in any put pure mecahnical action economy and I do not think that is worth it, that is not what makes this quest great.

    The Voidstone offer on the other hand manages to balance the mechanical efficiency and Snori-like generosity. We get to keep our stocks of Adamant while also sharing Voidstones with worthy smiths that expand the overall amount of the metal to the Karaz Ankor. What's not to like?

    Both of these adamant offers are acceptable to me and going together is just obvious.

    Seems like a good way to get them using Adamant stuff while not really messing with Snorri's amount of Adamant long term.

    I like the idea of holding to the Runesmith's Oath a bit in the trial for the worthy option, Adamant isn't about the volume it's about the process. The Brotherhood had their way, the Snorri improved upon it with his, now Karstah has improved again. Minds each turning the methodology of adamant over again sifting the good from the bad.

    But at the same time they've all made their journeys and have come into their own. Let's have them benefit from the foundation their Ancestors built, and see what they make on it and give them a goal to pursue via the "loan" to ensure they know this isn't a gift but a show of faith in their ability because we aren't writing off the adamant we give them but instead Snorri is entirely expecting them to be able to return it in kind.
