I'm honestly sort of relying on Wolong's statement that high potency means Required Secondary Powers come in automatically without needing to be there.
It'l probably be a combination of Intangiblity letting fast speed and secondary powers to be able to attack at high speeds.

Edit: Actually they can just use RH psi blades to attack, so superfast Assasin spec hero. For Backstabs.

[X] Read them in
Oh now y'all wannabe cowards sending away the leads for drama then to afraid to make dramatic decisions

Also like I think acting like they can't keep a secret is strange when they literally fool'd almost the entire city into believing more than like a handful of them were alive
[X] Mystery Box

I like to gamble up on the equation

And Valkyrie's dead, so all we have to worry about is Lantern/Lilith who seems more interested in JU proper.

Valkyrie was in Wonderland, wasn't she? I don't remember her status mentioned after that

So now she's in the wind but also yes, she can freely access the Stage.

Hm, now we know that this is JU granting/not-granting assent, I want to think through the Read them in decision a little from character PoVs.

So who's even in JU these days, anyways. It's gotten so big, I can see why Radiant Silvergirl would be confused!
  1. Lady Leizi Brr, the Frozen Throne sure is chilly.
  2. Black Swan. Seems hopeful, optimistic, and willing to believe the best in people. Also gets along the best (?) with New Dawn, given the time spent patrolling with them. Probably would want Read them in.
  3. Menagerie Witch. Admires Miss Naught quite a bit, and the tension does seem dissipated since that first meeting? But also that first meeting was only ~2 months ago, and was quite tense. I can also see her as a little conservative, wanting to keep her family her family and being worried about it expanding too much too soon. I think leans towards No, at least for now.
  4. Handyman. Hmmm, I think most deferential to Lady Leizi, and likely would lean towards No in her absence.
  5. Chatelet Fear not, you're no damsel but a knight is on his way all the same!
  6. Doctor Silver. I could see him wanting some more adults in the room? And maybe wants minimal possible issues when the Demon Flamez are on our radar? Don't have a good grasp here, but leaning towards Read them in
  7. Valiant Gold. Trusts Uncle Gabriel quite a bit, doesn't trust (this is an understatement) New Dawn writ large. I think a definite No.
  8. Belle Sabreuse. Probably abstains tbh, but I don't think trust comes easy to her, and she doesn't know New Dawn well, so if anything probably No.
So that's 3-2 in favour of No (with 1 abstention), maybe more like 2.5-1.5 because I'm not sure about MW or DS.

But when one of the people in favour is Mona, I think this actually plays out with her giving an amazingly inspirational speech featuring at least one line where she mentions how Ellie doesn't want to let people in even if they care and are kind... and ultimately the team goes for Read them in.

There's a moment where LL mentions how she sees Mona as the next leader of JU. I think this might play out as another such moment.

"What. Are. They. Doing?!"

"Finding powerful metahumans at an alarming rate," 3 replies, "It its likely—"

"Shut up, shut up, shut up!" 7 shouts, hitting him further, "We know it's likely Rotwang's experiment from Wonderland! 67%! But you haven't confirmed it."
Also, can we just take a moment to appreciate how absurd Lady Leizi's spy network is? And how absurdly incredible a job she's done at keeping Project Prometheus concealed?

We've got a very powerful Metahuman whose whole power is probability analysis and manipulation who has been left barking up the absolute wrong tree. That's nuts!

Since the "required secondary powers" topic has come up again, I will quote this which I found very helpful

[it was in response to someone saying "I believe its total Potency that is relevant. The hint was saying that a high potency build would be strong even without any special combo's (and that likewise having good keywords and a low potency will be weaker)."]
That is correct. If your only keyword is "Elemental Manipulation" but your P13, you'll be the goddamn Avatar with whatever secondary powers you need provided for. If you P1 with nine keywords, your going to be constantly sweating

Though I assume that synergy powers are somewhat stronger than normal powers, as otherwise, there would be no point to them being hidden (apart from the amusement value of searching for the recipes).

Personally I'd like to indeed try a single-keyword high-potency Ambrosia dose if we get a few more single-keyword DNA samples. But I understand that most people want to search for synergies a lot

The recent reveal of more synergies have also reinforced my feeling that the best possible samples have at least as many tags as their Potency rating since more tags basically means more powers. Someone like Zeno is essentially running on a deficit of -3 for example, since we know that at most Space-Time Manipulation is 5 tags. If we ever find out that synergy, when would ever use Zeno's sample again?
Having higher-potency samples actually helps a lot according to Wolong since it « covers more bases »
. Potency, I believe, is just as determinative in power expression as synergies."

"Precisely," Wolong says, "The greater potency of her power effectively gave her half of Blue Skies powerset—moving water vapor. For that reason, it may be just as effective to have a high-potency combination of metahumans with the same kind of powers as it is to have a diverse amalgam."
Dreamcatcher does seem like the flakiest member of new dawn
I don't think he's flaky so much as a bit silly.

Remember, he automatically stood up for us during PREVAIL.

Probably good to remember that Keywords aren't everything, the nature of how the power expressed itself in the former owner of the DNA also matters and factors into the final result? (And also how xN keywords are more likely to manifest in the final sample, although I'm not sure how to square that circle with synergies)
