Also, I think I said it somewhere, but SLAYERS did not have a base. They were a very 9 to 5 team with clear divisions between work and their personal lives.
Cool hmm if a villain has a base can we reporpuse it or is that considered a bad thing?
Like I know Leizi will probably choose to burn down any base the Ghost triad has but mechanically and pragmatically reporpusing bases to me is good play.
Also bases are the only way to unlock metahuman slots right?

Depends on the base I guess? A couple folks, it's probably better to burn it down than risk using it. But it will be your call.
And I think I'll add some Apiary actions to add slots next then because it's SO dang big, but otherwise, yeah.
Nice and yeh that was my big worry since, While AP is the best part of new bases, Hero Slots really makes it a difficult choice between recruiting members or using ambrosia for heroes.

I suppose it makes sense that picking the Espionage character means we keep stumbling on info we shouldn't have yet--and given all the threats we're facing, that's a nice leg up for us. But I imagine that as the quest proceeds our enemies are going to improve their infosec in response to LL's abilities.
Yeh buy by that point well have our own bullshit espionage heroes. Like Handymans Shapeshifting and giving someone I'spys power.

I'm keeping my own small stash of points specifically for the purpose of boosting our recruitment rolls - we will get our scrunklies one way or another.

For Shroud I think just having Handyman act as bodydoubel and bait is enough, since guy seems to aim for nonpowered meaning shroud isnt good in a stright fight, while Handyman has pretty high hit and with mona just need to hold the bastard down until BS flies in to laser the bastard.
For 3rd were gonna need to search Noras stash for help. Though if we can turn Yara into a super psychic before fighting 3rd Person I think she can handle it.

Sadly, yes. Even sadder whey you realize two of the members of the team were openly lesbians in a relationship, one was asexual and in a sapphic relationship, and one didn't have a physical body. Those folks tended to get banned on Hero for Hire.
Also, fun fact, part of the gender distribution on JU was me poking fun at the face that every other superhero team in comics is either mostly guys and one girl, or a designated "all girl" team.

And given we the Readers and at most 5 other living characters are aware of the truth (that we know about)..... Here's my hat thrown into the ring:
There's some kind of "psychic/psionic mindscape linking all of humanity" that anyone can access with the right tools/methods. (Bonus points if the conspiracy theorist is shilling products that can supposedly "connect one to the mindscape")

I think we can only boost any given Tolerance score by 2 max.
We're also doing Cenotaph this turn though, which gives us 2-4 low to medium tolerance candidates that we get off the Candidate list. So if we have the Goldnine for Wade Family Combo or other neat yet low-power synergies, we might have some good people for it.
I kind of want to do an OPS focused build for John Henry. It's currently where we're weakest and it plays into his strengths.

Fast pass boost tolerance by 2 but locks the tolerance.
Spoonful of sugar lets us boost tolerance with no limit apart from money and ap.
Edit: I'm gonna prioritize our Ambrosia for HIgh Tolerance because we need them not to die rescuing moon river. We already have decent score of B-A ranks from recruits.

A lot of conspiracy theories are…not that interesting when you look at them ? It's mostly reworked blood libel in various forms (secret government cabal controlling the world via Big Pharma, and the government cabal is made up of Minority That I Hate)

-the Sussuration turned every human in Horizon into Valkyrie's sleeper agents.
-X hero fight was staged. Gets thrown around for basically everything.
I can't get over how incredible Nora and Yasmin's relationship was. It's sckrungly trash gremlin with ADHD and beautiful amazonian goddess with more money than God. It wouldn't surprise me if the Justice Unlimited tv show in the omakes got popular in large part because of NoraYas or SilverWater or whatever their ship name is, because that's a really good dynamic.

I think Lady Leizi was watching a seinen rom-com. Shoujo is typically more high school romance for girls (the most handsome and popular boy in school falls in love with you etc), with a fair number of supernatural stuff in the genre as well and occasionally some very good horror (Tomie is shoujo, for example).
And there's a lot of 90s shoujo that's psychological drama, which I think she would enjoy.
The magical girls really don't have standard powers so I think using them will be impossible. It's probably the Four Guardian Beasts.
This is interesting.
Although if I read this correctly Fast Past is useless, since we can just do Spoonful of Sugar twice and then do it again.
