The room went silent for a long minute. Some of the teens were trying to bring up some strangely distant memories while some of the others looked confused.
Remember, arcane things have a veil of secrecy that precludes the attention of mundanes, so anyone without magic has a hard time processing and remembering magical things until and unless they are purposefully exposed to it in a way they can't ignore, such as being given a primer lesson on magic, followed by enough spells that it breaks down that block.Oof. This universe does not seem old or stable if I'm interpreting that right. I wonder how far history goes back before everything becomes becomes a generic blur.
A decade? Three? Seems like definitely within living memory. Ordinary DC cosmic horror things.

Here's a question, could Alchemist fix the world of Final Fantasy 15? By that I mean end the stuff that turns people to daemons, and then when the daemon dies it becomes a black mist that goes to block out the sun...
I mean I think if he showed up in Comrades, he could likely create things to create light, and drive off a lot of the Daemons. Which would be a significant help just with that, though I now find myself wondering if he could make more of the crystal that empowers Noctis's family, and maybe find a way to empower it without straining Noctis...
Err, she already has gone down that rabbit hole. That's what she was referring to when she said her dad got her some scrolls from someplace called "fishcake." That's what "Naruto" means. It's also why she mistakenly refers to ki as "chakra," because the mangaka has no idea what he's talking about.Yuffie MUST NOT learn the art of clones I don't think any universe could withstand a Yuffie that went down the Naruto path.

Sapient ones as well.
Starfire and Blackfire's abilities to project force bolts are the result of experiments performed upon them by the Psylons. Normal Tamaranians do not have the ability to shoot force bolts. Normal Tamaranians can fly, are slightly superstrong, and can survive in space as long as they have light to process, and they can live a VERY long time (1000+ years, easily).
For anything more than a short post, I'd suggest either regularly Ctrl-A + Ctrl-C or just type it up in a word processor.Well, I had a whole post typed up and 99.9% completed then mis-clicked and lost it all.
I guess a draft is only saved if you explicitly request it to be saved.
Bother.

[Edit] Is there any way to purchase the grid abilities from FFX? A few like Quick Hit could be very valuable.
Finding a way to get one's hands on the summons could be nice, as well.
Could Alchemist use equipment from FFIX to learn abilities, since they teach stuff permanently?
How about magicite from FFVI?
There's ways to fix that kind of thing, presumably. Like a golem to house the magicite and give them back An Body. And I'm not touching on Magicite. The crystalized corpse in which the soul of an entity is trapped, slowly having its abilities and skills harvested or else summoning its form as a brief echo... And, considering the Maduin storyline, as well as Mog's dialogue about Ramuh, it can be implied that the espers are still somehow aware in that state.
Thinking about it too long gives me a 'I have no mouth, but I must scream!' kind of vibe.
That's the problem actually. The local magitech uses magicite as fuel. So, first find a bit that is aware enough to have the relevant summon imprinted, then separate them from a pseudo soul gem, then having them learn to operate an entirely new body when it could of been centuries since their last one that just worked. So, sure you totally could do that, if you wanted to give them a body that is human shaped right now, just use a golem. Then watch them flip between horrified and depressed as body dysmorphia breaks them mentally. There's ways to fix that kind of thing, presumably. I mean, we could just sidestep this a little bit. Death of the Endless usually gets involved if someone is throwing around Resurrection or True Resurrection but if Magicite still has the soul stuck in there, then she might be okay with those spells being used on a case-by-case basis since they aren't **quite** dead. That's the problem actually. Most of them aren't human shaped in even a slight bit, and Al knows how to make humanoid magic receptacles that can develop a mind, or a holmcross.
