Honestly I can see this sort of leading to a "Becoming the Mask" moment for him, where he realizes that being "good" actually gets him the appreciation/loyalty he wanted.Fair enough. But I rolled fairly, and I gave Igthorn massive mali for Diplomacy, and then he *still* rolled them out of the park.
If you're doing the same two-month turns that I am, then why not just sync them up?(Like, for instance, when I should set Igthorn in relation to Aladdin)
Terror fills me! Let's hope it comes out alright!Alrighty folks, the cutoff has came and went. All XP expenditures are locked in, no takebacks, no last second additions. Now, let's roll dem dice!
*concern*

Ouch. Love this quest's Tai Lung, hurts to see.
The way bare failures work, they make the subsequent attempt a lower DC; hopefully this applies to Personals just as much as Nationals.
I mean, the Cade/Leah thing succeeded? It was DC 50, and we rolled a 77.Damn, I wish I could have spent more XP on the Cade/Leah thing... and I really thought Tai Lung didn't need any more help :/
Wasn't it A Green Thumb?
It is, I just couldn't remember the name at the moment. Edited to reflect the correct name.
Huh. Well the first was a crit, but Jones wasn't far behind. Unless crits don't apply here though, it probably works the same. Good for us!Aladdin vs. Davy Jones

Hmm... Let's see, Aladdin impresses Davy initially, followed by dealing a bit better then him diplomatically and gaining some respect from the psychopomp. This leads to an unfortunate situation of Davy finding Aladdin just interesting enough to decide to keep coming back, leaving the meeting with an ominous "Be seeing you..." or something like that.Meeting: 106 v 93! Is there actually any benefits to Davy making this his port if call or are we going to play appease the ferryman of death every time he comes backHmm... It's all just speculation at this point. We as a thread don't actually know what the terms were of the deal. I doubt we will find out until the turn gets posted. Is there actually any benefits to Davy making this his port if call or are we going to play appease the ferryman of death every time he comes back
In fairness, if Drago tries to start a coup like I think he'll eventually go for then that same port makes a tempting opening target. On the plus side, only the extremely stupid would attack a port Jones makes use of.
