Militancy 5
Armies 8
Navies 6 (4)
Our army is already bigger then what we can send east. Thus we don't need mercs, on the other hand would said mercs head towards Hex?

We can't pick this one.

An early Opium War analogue occurs and is more devastating than ever, and the 1836 map shows a very distinctly color deficient Africa. Scramble for Africa when?

And still don't know what the Rainbow thing is supposed to represent. Optic Fibres?

*Looks back at PoC 1*

OK. Maybe I won't go back and read the first half of the quest then...

Also, looking at where the port cities in Kus are... Could provide a good launch pad for a Ymaryn Burma/Siam.

We do not get the 1PW from royalists immediately, so we cannot plan with 3PW we're we to take this option.

Right, we get +1PW next phase of the turn right?

And developing transport infrastructure is what we have as an option during the main turns for -3 temp IC, and what we need to remove the isolated/removed hinterlands statuses.

So...

Develop Transport Infrastructure - 1 PW, -3 Temp IC, +1 Max Development, (8 more uses to remove Undeveloped Hinterlands status, 3 more uses to remove Isolated Hinterlands) (0 PW for the first use a turn)

That looks underwhelming just at the moment...

Aww, the snake's gone :(

The snake?

Diplomats from the UPM have at last confirmed the increasingly confused rumours that have been circulating for the past year. In late 1826 EY Faron vyn Hohozyn, former First Citizen of the Tortun Republic, was killed when a slave uprising rocked the plantation region where he was staying in exile. Local officials kept the incident quiet for many months as they were attempting to confirm what exactly had happened, as such an event is intensely embarrassing for them for obvious reasons. Rumours of the death began to leak out of the region and were carried across the oceans, where they became increasingly convoluted and outlandish, due to other rumours - sometimes founded in fact, sometimes founded in elaborate fantasy - interacting in odd ways with each other. Despite some suggestion that Faron was a firebrand among local politics, by all accounts he and his family lived a quiet life of exile in the swampy backwoods of the southern provinces, an honoured but sidelined guest to the local nobility of plantation owners.

Also, I just realized that the native rising in the UPM really could be Faron...

The scramble for Africa only happened after 1880. In fact, Africa had even more grey in the real world 1836.

Goddamn NotFrance.

Army that is probably as good as ours and a Navy seems to be the equal of the Sketch.

Diplomatic Outreach to the Sketch now. There is no way that Hes getting so strong with their navy is something that will make them happy.

What does "Develop Transport Infrastructure" do? Because that sounds intriguing.
Here is the project
Develop Transport Infrastructure - 1 PW, -3 Temp IC, +1 Max Development, (7 more uses to remove Undeveloped Hinterlands status, 2 more uses to remove Isolated Hinterlands)

+1 more use due to latest bill. The terms referenced there are as follows,
Undeveloped Hinterlands: -1 Education, -1 Standard of Living
Isolated Hinerlands: -1 Standard of Living, -1 Innovation

Narratively we are too big to administrate properly. This is how we fix that.

What's Vortuga position with all these fire? Their south east asia ports are looking tasty to everyone wanting to sail from West world to East World.

They are in trouble, and once the Hung stops burning wolves will probably turn towards them, but for now they can hold on as best they can.

is there any chance you can put up an album with all the maps in sequence? Could be fun to check out and makes a good reference for past peoples/events.

Others have been stitching that together, but I can probably do an official album at some point.

WE HAVE FOREST STATS NOW!

I figured since I was dragging my butt on figuring out a commission I might as well get that out of the way.

in regards to the Khemetri, how far along has their progress been to curb slavery?

Ehhhh... they have been having issues on that front.
