Cool, what is your view about Al-Taltanis In Character?
Well, BT just fought a long war with them, but I decided to go for peace, remember? So I'd figure that my Conservatives are wary of Al-T but are willing to trust them somewhat, the Militarists really don't like them and the religious guys are just happy I can now spend money on welfare and religious stuff instead of on a Forever War.

  • Inorganic Chemistry - armor; depleted uranium; mining, smelting and resource extraction.
  • Industry - machine tools; mass production; automation and making things at scale.
  • High Energy Physics - cloud chambers; particle accelerators; superconductors and modern physics.
  • Medicine - human biology; anatomy; public health; antibiotics, vaccines, and the development of new medications.

There is a small thing missing. Namely, Airpower. :p
.
Heroes have magic rating x2 spells at start, gain another point every 2 years, to a maximum of 50 points of spells. In addition, they have access to all of your national spells (Which do not count against their spell limit.
Also, uh, wasn't there a GM ruling somewhere that you gained a free bog-standard hero every time you increased your MR past a multiple a multiple of six or something? I could have sworn there was some way of gaining heroes by increasing MR rather than getting a Loot Result for it.

..... I'm mostly concerned because that's how I got my second hero. :V

Oddly enough, Airpower wasn't in the original post I was working from. Added it now, and a distinction from Aeronautics.

Yeah, I'd meant to add that in - it's there now. You get MR/4 Heroes at start, then 1 per 6 MR gained in play.

Can I get clarification on this? I know you can get Heroes from Quests. Does this also mean I can get a Hero for every +6 MR I gain from Quests? E.g. if I gain +3 from two Quests, do I also get a Hero for free?
