Alright so I would like to state I'm taking a breaking from handling Magic questions until I finish my turn post, so hopefully I'll be able to answer them by Friday/the Weekend

I have no issue with this at all~
Know that if you feel you are in over your head, France is ready to swing by with some troops to help put down the rebels and ensure stable government, it's no problem at all.
Direct Rule from Paris!!!!!!!

...

Um, this isn't because of the massive deluge of questions I threw at you, is it? I thought it was a bit much.... :V

Your's wasn't the issue, it's just a lot to handle and I shitton to write for my turnpost. So I need to actually focus on that and I wanted to give people an idea of when I'd be getting back to them.
Ah, alright.

And on a completely different topic, does anyone here want to share their narrative ideas for their nations and characters?

I know Estro is cooking up a collection of Dramatic Welsh Civil Wars, Tenfold and Wade are going full Soap-Opera with their characters, and Crilltic here is focusing on her KSBD!Royalty-Solar Exalted-WoD!Heroine-Unconquered Princess, but what about the rest of you guys?

For myself, I'm trying to get my characters into a Sitcomish set up, with the Imperial Family as the focus of all the shenanigans.
Is there a possibility that Nazism will exist in this Alternate Timeline? Just asking.
No country here has the unfortunate mix of revanchism, humiliating peace treaties, economic disaster, and anti-semitism that would produce the National Socialist Party, so no. Not in a million years.

.... Of course, I've been ninja'd by @Havocfett and @Secretariat , but it's nice to analyze exactly why it won't happen. :V

I mean What If Fascism will become a thing in this Nation Game. I know this is set in the 1600's but it will be interesting to see Fascism will happen anytime soon. Just saying.

Why are you so bizarrely interested in one of the most horrific and disgusting ideologies that ever crawled out of humanity's fetid pits during the deepest gloaming?

It won't show up[Outside of Colombia at least] because no country has the conditions necessary for a movement like Fascism to rise. The countries that have one of the biggest conditions that created fascism, namely the defeat and terrible losses of WW1[or something like it] and accompanying societal reactions, are these:

Mali[With its African War], my Mughals[Kandahar War], Shun[War for China], Oceania[Canaan Revolt], and maaaaybe Cambodia[Cambodia-Yue War].

Mali could theoretically become Fascist, but the ideological elements of Mali are nothing like the western concepts that gave rise to Fascism; they have no Nietzsche and nothing akin to Futurism. Plus, their government still controls their country effectively, and they don't have that bad of an economic situation, what with not needing to pay the massive reparations demanded of Germany. Nor do they have the opposition to communism that took root in Italy, and led to Mussolini's rise.

My Mughals also lack a horrible economic situation or the fears of Communism, and have a pretty strong government. The Shun are the same, except they also won their bloody war. Oceania is deeply Protestant and into the whole Republic thing, and lack the above root causes as well. Cambodia, same issues.

TL;DR: We don't have the ingredients for Fascism in any of our countries, won't happen.

And now, for something completely different.

@Theravis , say, would it be possible for me to get Not!Iri as a potential hero, since @Cetashwayo isn't using her? Assuming I get fitting Themes, and set my Quest Journey Distance to Far?

I do need me some Heroic Inventors.

And this isn't a Magic Question, this is a Story Question, so don't worry about it @Crilltic.

I see, very well then. What Country are you btw?

my Mughals[Kandahar War]
Mughal Empire. Largest Manpower Pool in the game and Largest Poverty Rate in the game[Judging by Econ-to-Pop Ratios], at your service.
No, Citallon Miranda is a Dutch citizen and is living a comfortable life under surveillance against potential kidnappers.
......

Hold on, you thought I would kidnap her? What, my next Hero is going to be a Homunculi I stole from the Dutch? No, since she's clearly a Dutch Citizen, she is entirely entitled to leaving the Netherlands and moving to the Empire to study some of that sweet sweet Magitech, if she so wishes.

Unless you want her and Laser Lady as your own characters, in which case....

My hopes are dashed once again.

I mean, she's been living in the Netherlands for years. That's my assumption. Why would you take her? Waifuism? If that's the case I'm not giving her over :p
Law of Plot Conservation. As a writer, my first instinct when I need a character for something is to look back at the characters that have shown up so far and see which ones could fill that role, rather than create a whole new character and cause character bloat.

There's a distinct lack of Heroic Inventor Characters in the Mughal Empire, and the Inventor character my characters have most closely interacted with is Not!Iri, so, she's my first pick.

And yes there's also some Waifuism.

Miranda is a college student at the University of Brussels. She is currently pursuing a degree in the Mystical Arts with the funding of the state government, and the support of her adopted family. She is happy and content, and there is surveillance that is ensuring she is not kidnapped away from her home by agents of a foreign power. Any reference to her previous heritage has been scrubbed, and she is allowed to live the normal life of a normal Dutch citizen. It is as if she was always Dutch, besides her slightly off accent which most assign to her...English...heritage. She will finish college and pursue further education or else research in the theoretical arts.

Let her be.

No problem then. I'll just write up a character rather than steal Theravis's. :V

Tbh I would probably go for a native or swedish inventor hero. The Swedish Resistance Infinite SAM factory was never discovered, and you've got cool Indian supertech stuff available to you. A dude who created mass-produced Astras (for that lasergun idea you had earlier) or sommat might be cool.

Could even be a Proper, Indian Waifu or tie into your construction of MIT.
