Magical Girl Quest - The Fire That Burns

Depends on how the Shield Spell works. The MM of the Magical Girl's Weapon is their baseline Magic Modifier for non-spell attacks and abilities.

So unless the Shield Spell itself has something that keeps it from being boosted then it'd still work.

My loose idea for the shield spell would be to just create a bubble of magical energy and churn it as chaotically as we can to fuck with any attacks that get thrown our way. Put our shield target at the eye of a little miniature magical hurricane basically.

Anyone good a good Line Break I can use?
I used the Forum one without thinking and it's kind off... Meh

Well... CW goes with
/Line Break Identified\

I use a derivative of that in my Quest, so how about you make something similar?

Hm...
Maybe...
This?

* The Line Broke *

I am just throwing ideas in the room, by the way. But being a little bit silly is fine, I think. It just needs to get the message across.

I was thinking of using Crystals -/LINE BREAK\- or -/LINE BREAK IDENTIFIED\- but I don't want to blatantly steal it from his Quest.
I would prefer to have a single line rather than three, the space between the top and bottom lines isn't equal and it bugs me.

Hm... you could just use the middle line, though.
But as I said, maybe just play around with ideas and see which you like?

MEMORIES OF THE PAST
You sigh and tap the German folder. "I really should deal with this before it becomes a problem. What exactly is going on over there?"

Morgan hums as she flips the folder open. "We aren't sure exactly, a team of seven went to investigate yesterday. Only two came back and all they could tell us was that something had come through the walls and attacked them. They said that they felt like they were being watched the entire time and that they had been attacked when they tried to enter the crematorium."

"Crematorium?" Where the hell in Germany would have a crematorium... Oh. Ohhhhh fuck this. "Morgan, is this related to the Nazi Concentration Camps?"

She nods slowly as she hands you a picture, large words proclaiming 'Arbeit Macht Frei' across a small metal gate. You take a long breath before nodding. Ok, I can deal with this. It's fine. "I'm guessing we are dealing with some sort of ghost then? Since you mentioned things 'Coming through the walls'"

She nods again as you flip the page. "We aren't sure what sort of ghost it is, or if it is some sort of intangible living creature, but we are sure that they are horribly dangerous." She hesitates, holding a picture in her hand before passing it to you. It is a man, or the remains of a man. His torso has been cut clean in half through the thick metal armour he was wearing, the edges of the cuts are perfectly smooth. You grit your teeth as you stare at his corpse, it's slightly blurry and you can see someone's shoulder in the photo. "This was taken from one of the survivors helmet, he didn't catch a full on look at the creatures, but we know they have very long claws, from this photo." She hands you another, this time showing you five thin black claws grasping a corner, dug halfway through the brick.

You let out a long breath as you stare. "Any chance these creatures can fly?" She shakes her head.

"We don't know. It would be best if the complex could be left undamaged, but we understand that it might need to be destroyed entirely to rid us of the ghosts permanently. Honestly, people were more confused where there wasn't any sort of paranormal activity at these sites. We have the others on close watch for now, to see if this is a isolated incident."

You tap your finger on the page as you nod. "No radio?"

She shakes her head. "On the flight over, no military support either. But we have several teams of Enforcers within twenty miles, they won't get there quickly, but it adds up to roughly thirty Enforcers."

"Alright, I'll deal with this. I should be back by tomorrow, keep Una out of trouble?" She nods as you set off for the door, ruffling Una's hair as you pass.

/LINE BREAK\
The wind is strong today, so much so that you nearly can't open your door. You have to prop it open with a leg and push with a little Reinforcement, it eventually opens enough for you to slide out, waving a hand at Alastair as you fall backwards.

You fall for nearly thirty seconds, enjoying the rush of freefall. When you get close enough, you slowly bring yourself to a halt a hundred metres over the Concentration Camp. You frown as you stare down at it, flicking your radio on and off as a test, it's working fine. You quickly check, but your sense tells you there is nothing inside the camp. You aren't surprised by the lack of temperature from some sort of ghost, though you expected maybe cold. But there wasn't even any critters.

The sun is high in the sky behind you, giving you a perfect view of the site. You don't see anything.

[] Battle Plan?

Hmm, I'm curious to how much our fire will be effective against this thing, I'm mean on one hand it's magic fire but on the other we haven't dealt with the immaterial thus far right? It's properties might negate what we throw at it.... well except A&O. Hopefully.

Edit: take a look at Rukia's profile message. "THE GHOSTS LURK IN THE DARK."

If fire, ice and A&O don't work we might as well just leave.

Drat, why do they not want us to destory the place? That seems like why you would send us.
Concentration camps are historical sites. Fights in the middle of a forest where there isn't anything important can be easily covered up. This is something the Clocktower probably can't if we burn the whole place to the ground. Or at least, it'll be a hell of a lot harder. It will be noticed if the camp burns down.
