While we can't resort to fire, We could be able to use ice without causing too much damage to the camp. Hopefully, a lack of thermal energy hurts ghosts as much as it hurts everything else.
That isn't really a problem. Or at least not our problem.Sounds like a recipe for structural damage. Thermal expansion is a bitch. It might not be obvious right away, but freezing the place over is going to knock years off its "life span" and require extensive repairs down the road a bit.
That's why I said it would burn living and magical beings only...?
Would it?
You can't use Conceptual Magic at the moment. We could try using End-powered fire. It would burn anything living or fueled by magic.
I don't expect it to work, but we might as well try. For all we know these are not ghosts.I think hoping for extreme heat or cold to work on a ghost is a bit dubious.
We have been over this. You can't use Conceptual Magic. Without horrible dying and killing everything around us that we love/need/like
How is it Conceptual to make sure our fire only burn specific things? You can't use Conceptual Magic at the moment.
We've been over this.
And do you do that when we can't sense any life or magic? How is it Conceptual to make sure our fire only burn specific things?
Because you specifically wanted to use End fire. How is it Conceptual to make sure our fire only burn specific things?
That was just the first idea that went through my head at the time.Because you specifically wanted to use End fire.
That is Conceptual magic.
You have one, it's called Alpha and OmegaThat was just the first idea that went through my head at the time.
What I wanted was to create a spell whose main focus is to devour/destroy/annihilate magic with our End affinity. Maybe some sort of cloud? The form it takes doesn't matter so much as its purpose.
You have one, it's called Alpha and Omega
You literally just described what it does.
Yeah, except at our current level, it destroy everything around us.
Welp then you want what cant be provided. At this time. What I wanted was something we could use from a distance and only destroyed magic.
You can't just create new spells out of thin air, your grace period of creating new magic is coming to a close, real soon. What I wanted was something we could use from a distance and only destroyed magic.
[x]plan step by step
-[x]first slowly bring the temperature of the entire camp as low as you can manage. Hold it that way for a few minutes.
--[x]if nothing changes from that then slowly bring the temperature back to normal.
-[X]step 2: fly around searching for any source of magic in the area.
--[x]keep up a light aura on flashbang level.
--[X] fly around looking for unexplainable shifts in temperature or shadows
-[X]step 3: Bait it out
--[X] Use Thermal Control to create localized hot spots (human shaped?)
--[X] Get some live bait of some sort (rats or mice?)
-[X]step 4: If you still can't find anything declare the camp a lost cause.
--[x]walk through the place with alpha and Omega might as well burn the place as well.
You can't just create new spells out of thin air, your grace period of creating new magic is coming to a close, real soon.
Experimentation, but it's going to take you a lot longer.Well crap :/
How will we be learning spells in the future then? Tutoring? Experimentation but takes longer?
We need to adapt our plasma ball into a kamahamaha. You can't just create new spells out of thin air, your grace period of creating new magic is coming to a close, real soon.
