Magical Girl Escalation Taylor (Worm/Nanoha)

Yeah. If you don't think that's closure, you've been misreading big time.
That scene doesn't feel like closure in anyway what so ever. Taylor was hurt cause her own father doesn't recognize her and ran away from the situation. And Danny didn't even understand what was actually happening. Nothing was resolved.
There's also this...
"There's still the issue of what to do with him. He's weak, and between the need for rehab and the memory issue, you can't take him back to the apartment. About the only good thing in this whole fiasco is that his powers aren't working so hot either. Kurt's talking to the social worker now, but it sounds like he needs to spend at least a little time in some midlevel care facility."
He's been going to rehab for the past few weeks. He's had to accept that he's lost 6 years of his memory and that he was wrong about the girl he assumed was just screwing with him. If there is a chance that maybe something can be salvaged, than we can at least leave the ball for reconnection in his court. If not, than we pull up the chairs, close up shop and walk away from it. Done and over with.

… …
… … …
Ah, I see where I missed it. I can't really see any way to combine any of the major scenes into a cohesive whole as it stands. What I can see, however, is a way to milk a social action into the press conference, I.E. Sit next to Vista while we're there. Proceed to ogle teenaged capes of one's preferred sexual orientation.

If it weren't for the need to address things on world, I'd push for the Third Kind, but as it stands :/.

... he woke up on May 25th. It's June 4th. That's two weeks, if being generous. Rehab does not go that fast.

It already is. If Danny's really ready to own up, he'd be contacting us or Kurt and Lacy.

Let it go, move on.

What I decided to do with Danny is a real-life thing. It's also really fucking sad.

Now THAT I would let you do, albeit with some alterations. The only issue I can see cropping up is that Nanoha is very… … eh-hem… alternative lifestyle friendly (i.e., the two main characters are in a long-term lesbian relationship by the third season), Taylor got a healthy dose of magical girl juice that she didn't have in canon, and you the players haven't yet determined her orientation.

H-How can you say that?! Teana opened her heart to Taylor with such a bold confession and you just dismiss her like that?!

You heartless! Monster!

Yatta! I'm down with that! Would that bump social to three?

No Dragon love? I know I've said exploring the Dragonslayers' base with her would count as a social slot.

I think everyone took your 'it's perfectly safe not to rush this one' as 'we can put this off and build up other plot points for a bit in relative surety that this is the next arc switchover.'

So many sidequests to do. So many.

Did I ever say you could put the Dragon thing off for some indeterminate time and nothing bad would happen? Because I don't think I did.

I said that the conclusion some people had made that the Dragonslayers' base would be taken over by another villain group while you weren't looking was baseless and stupid paranoia. It isn't villains you have to be concerned with. It's Dragon and the fact that you know she knows you did something three weeks ago that revolved around the Dragonslayers. She was willing to give you space while you dealt with the gang war, but the longer you push this off, the more irritated she's going to be when you finally show her.

I know it's a shock, but promising someone something and then taking forever and a day to deliver it? Not a great way to keep your friends happy with you.

Well, I think my votes for social will probably be Vista & Dragon(slayers' base).

We only have one slot for main plot though, right?

I was under the (incorrect) impression that Dragon becoming a Unison Device would be on the same level of time investment and 'gravitas' as a full-on plot thread.

That one is, yes. This is the required precursor step.

EDIT: or maybe not, based on Silently's next post. I was sure the transfer itself was a main action, too.

Why the ever-loving fuck would you think that?

It is on the same level if you count all the events that make up this plotline.
  1. Fishing with Dragon and Tim, where he first realized her true nature
  2. Revealing to Dragon that you know she's an AI, which was handled by a canonized omake
  3. Defeating the Dragonslayers so they can't interfere in the transformation and kill her
  4. Exploring Saint's computer system and backdoors (and Ascalon)
  5. Building the Unison Device
  6. Transferring Dragon's consciousness into the Unison Device
  7. Handling the fallout when Dragon reveals to a few people, like Narwhal and Colin, about her true and new nature. This may be an interlude rather than a Taylor-centric chapter.
This is actually a long subplot looked at this way, 7 events as opposed to the usual 3 or 4. It just doesn't have a set title and you don't have to finish it in a single arc before losing the chance forever or suffering a major setback.

Because someone made a list with three options, and people though he was being legit.
Exploring Saint's computer system and backdoors (and Ascalon)
OK, so given your earlier comment, this is where we're at... I think. Otherwise, don't really have a Unison Device to give Dragon, so a social action involving her seems off. Unless the social is meant to kick off the three-week build/transfer period.

*snip*
You didn't specify the number of slots for the story post, the first couple proposed plans only had one main plot thread vote, it's already been asked by someone else and not answered (that I've noticed). Others seem confused about it and I'm new to this quest so I'm not sure what the standard is. You going straight to belligerence and not actually giving an answer doesn't help in the slightest.

Conversation with PS on the way to Dragonslayer base? Not likely, but just checking.

I'd tend to expect that the choice with PS would involve a reminder that immersive training Sim is a thing (we literally haven't touched except immediately after Taylor picked up the device xD except maybe training omake's I suppose, think some used it) .

On the other hand @Silently Watches , would it be too lengthy to have a plot action of talking with Perfect Storm (for context) before contacting the Admiral ?

If such were allowed, my inclinations would be

Plot 1: Tickets to Gangland (no reason not to sit with familiar face, might involve invitng to later social)
Plot 2: Close Encounters of the Third Kind (Talk with Perfect Storm about what it learned and what we learned from Enforcers, then contact the Admiral now better informed)
Social 1: Not the Worst Friend (hangout with Vista and whoever else I can achieve with Herculean pleading, scanning kayleigh and laura for cores ideal...hey, who says we cant scan Laura without letting Missy know she's Cailleach ....way out of gang life? )
Social 2: Loot the Dragonslayer Hoard (Go with Dragon to check out the Slayer base and Ascalon and whatnot)
