Magical Girl Escalation Taylor (Worm/Nanoha)

Look back at the end of Nanoha S1 and the start of A's. Nanoha had a TSAB Device and knowledge of their system of magic. She had a continuing connection to Fate, Chrono, and Lindy, the first of whom was still a criminal and the latter two of whom were TSAB staff. And what precautions did the TSAB have in place to make sure she didn't start teaching magic to everyone in Japan and encouraging her country to take over the world?

Not a damn one.

If Nanoha or Taylor or anyone else who by sheer dumb luck happens to get magic dropped into their lap decides to act on their new information as a citizen of their homeworld, that is still that world continuing on with its own destiny.

Ladies and Gentlebeings, look at these people.
It's thanks to them Earth is continue to be non-magical backwater, easy prey for any magical opportunist and rampaging Lost Logia.
They egotistically chose to run away and play hero somewhere else, instead of helping their homeworld.

Boo them, boo!

Though objectively saying they had been involved in at least two extradimensional crises that had the potential to topple TSAB, involving Sankt Kaiser and Hades King. While it's their fault Earth is a non-magical backwater, easy prey for any magical opportunist and rampaging Lost Logia, it's thanks to them there are a lot less of magical opportunists and rampaging Lost Logia to be there to prey on Earth.

It would be an interesting discussion to be sure, but Tucson would probably explain that there are good reasons for the TSAB not to do that. This goes to the prehistory of the Dimensional Sea, which I've done a little elaboration on in preparation for someone eventually asking about it in-story, but for now let's just say that Al-Hazard tended to involve themselves in the affairs of magic-naive worlds, including forcibly unifying a planet that later adopted the name of Belka. As a result of all the shit that followed THAT mistake, non-interference is a policy that will not be bent for anyone. Not because Taylor's world is beneath the TSAB's concern, not because a world tearing itself apart is okay or routine, but because they've seen where that goes and they don't want a repeat of the Warring Ages and Saint King Unification War.
... I was somewhat expecting a quest-canon extrapolation of show-canon to answer the Non-Interference policy. I was somewhat expecting a Space-Afghanistan example to be given.

I never expected an answer that would make IAE say, "Fuck, he's right.":V

It still is kind of a space-Afghanistan example. It just also involves making space-Afghanistan a nuclear power in the process, which they then use to murder the fuck out of everybody.

I'm glad I can still surprise you guys every once in a while. :p

1 January 2018 just started over here, so Happy New Year, everyone!
Fun fact: in the previous new year congratulation I posted Teana charging Starlight Breaker. It turned out to be prophetic.
Let's hope next year our relations with TSAB will be... less painful for us.
Glory to Galea

she learned from fate and tried to befriend us nanoha style. our earth-bet culture left us unamused.

I mean, the first person that Nanoha fired a Starlight Breaker on ended up becoming her wife, so I'm all counting the Arcs until Teana and Taylor marry.

It's both the Endbringers and the villains, with one wrecking society on the global scale and the other poisoning it on the personal scale. The TSAB can help with giant monsters, but even they haven't come up with a solution to people being assholes. See their giant floating prison for proof of that.

So what your saying we need to do if we want the biggest bang for our buck is simple. Direct unseen help with Endbringers, as Simurgh has shown to be capable of dimensional transfer on two occasions. Once with Haywire, and another with Wisconsin, they have to believe there is a very good chance the Endbringers can be their problem as well. Killing them before they reach the TSAB's backyard is the only smart move.

Taylor needs to start recruiting heroic magic users, and hard lock all future devices so if someone goes off the reservation we can shut off the Device. So getting back into contact with New York's little magic cult this turn would be a smart idea. Suddenly a dozen or so mages even if their only C or B rank in power becomes a game changer, while for real problem Taylor out ranges everyone besides Legend.

Lastly if Cauldron witnesses the TSAB being able to hurt/kill Endbringers Miss Path to I win is going to have a series of perfect conversations with the Brass of the TSAB that will have them going to war with the parasites.

That makes a scary amount of sense. Why didn't I think of this angle?
Oh right, the whole "to the actual death" rather than merely capture that was initially posted.
Still, yeah, I can see Taylor/Teana from that perspective.
Although to be honest, for a good chunk of StrikerS I was convinced that Teana/Suberu were a couple from before the series started. More so than Nanoha/Fate until Vivo saw those two were sharing a bed.
