Magical Girl Escalation Taylor (Worm/Nanoha)

Example:
In a famous scene near the end of StrikerS, Quattro is shot by Nanoha Takamachi's Divine Buster across the entire Saint's Cradle(a town/city sized space battleship) in the middle of her fight against Vivio, whom Quattro was manipulating.

She survived to go to a prison world.

Would link video if I wasn't on mobile at work

Oh, @Sylvire , you have no idea of the nail you just hit on the head….

Got a title? And do you want point saved or spent?

Here you go.

It's worth remembering that this isn't even her strongest spell.

Ah, yes. Every time someone posts that video I feel obligated to like their post out of a deep sense of satisfaction, regardless of the rest of its content.

Just an FYI: I've reworked my plans for how the GB options will be dealt with in the future (just in case something unfortunate happens to this one). Instead of creating actual stats, I've given each class abilities that will only be accessible if the GB is created randomly. With deliberate creation like you're doing, the tank, DPS, ranged, and infiltrator go from 5 skills to 4, the scientist (yes, I finally worked that one out) drops from 5 to 3, and the support had the greatest nerfing as it loses 5 of its 12 skills, including all three Enchant spells.

Some good news: 1.x is done thanks to the 19 hour car trip I'm still not done with and will be out tomorrow in the late morning or early afternoon. The after action report should be out either Friday or Saturday, and 2.1 will get written… probably Sunday, maybe Monday, which means posting on Monday or Tuesday.

That would have been kind of important information before the randomness vote...

What the fuck?

Reducing the number of starting skills is fair, but if the lost skills are permanently unavailable then I strongly urge you to reconsider. I believe that every class-specific skill should be available for the appropriate class... eventually, so the opportunity cost is merely in the head start. This is why we have an RPG system, isn't it?

Just allow our GB to train skills the same way (or almost the same way) that we can.

Everyone over on SB was setting up a clamor about this too, including myself. Then I noticed something.

The changes do not apply to this first GB, only to any future ones we make if this one dies/we end its contract/???. Unless either we make some monumentally stupid decisions or the GM throws the "fairly lighthearted" thing out the window, that shouldn't be a problem.
