Loyalty is its own Reward (A Traitor Legion Chapter Master Quest)

@ThunderOwl Do you have a headcanon for the personality of the Liutenants?
Not for all of them, but for some I do:
-From the 2nd, Ulpio is a very organized and formal person. Mild, polite, kinda boring on a personal level. Gallo is boastful and cocky, with endless self-confidence.
-From the 3rd, Furor is an intense guy. Very short-tempered, but somewhat self-aware about it. Cataegis isn´t fleshed out
-From the 6th, Sicae is critical, introspective yet confident, and has a very dry humor. Lorica isn´t fleshed out.
-From the 7th, Mircio is kinda of prick, humorless, arrogant and dismissive, but doesn´t truly show it. Tarraco by contrast is very outspoken and cheerful.
-From the 9th, none of the lieutenants are truly fleshed out.
-From the 10th, Iosephus is quiet and serious, very unwilling to socialize. Lanista by contrast is very friendly and agreeable, with a welcoming demeanor that his men appreciate

If you need any more info for the Omake, don´t hesitate to PM me.

So this is basically the Bolt equivalent of an anti-material rifle uh? I like it. Canon and added to potential rewards.
Basically, I wanted something for the 10th company. that gives them a bigger punch then just having bolters that could help with armoured targets though i have no idea where to begin to even write the stat lines for it

Sniper rifle is one. Nemesis bolter from Heresy era is another. Stalker bolter is more of a DMR but it can work. And if all of that is not enough gun, just give them lascannons.

Also we need recruits just as much as we need BP if not more so why not get a tithe of Neophytes from Seibourc like we did with Braicrum
seibourc is a Hive-world and imperial guard one that so no that is not a good idea not only are infringing on guard recruits but we get lesser recruits as well

If we have to take recruits do it from feudal feral or death worlds

Thinking about armor traditions, remembering some marines getting recently purged I have a hunch the chaplains before disposing of the body have a death mask ready so that they can decorate their armor with the fallen.

When it comes to secondary recruitment world we have a few options:

-Orellana: bonus high quality neophites, but most of the population got wiped out or exterminated after turning to slannesh

-Acronix: high quality neophites and DAOT tech, imperial guard recruitment world so a big no no

-Gadunka: moderate quality neophites, it has a partialy finished hive city thats half underwater so we could recruit some gangers from there, problem is that we would be calling dibs on the adamantium mined there which would make a lot of people upsett (sidenote: a genestealer outbreak would be pretty cool, basically the movie Underwater)

On the orellena issue human population can quickly blow up especially in low tech ones so after 50 years they have grown what we have to see later

Acronix and gadunka are good options But so is braicain a feudal world

Acronix is a death world similar to Luctus just instead of having to deal with the mist they have to deal with far more dangerous predators, so they might get along better with Luctusian neophytes better then the Braicaims.

Orellena is another good choice by now their population should be back to what it was before the Slaanesh uprising and in order to talk to them it seems that we may have to talk to the people living on the station in orbit before going down and asking the tribes

Tyranx the Collector (Potential Foes)
On planet of Gordash V, Emperor's Children Warband calling themselves "Pursuers of Perfection" were engaging defenders of one of Hive Cities from 888th Gordashan PDF Regiment

Chaos Sorcerer Tyranx the Collector walked in his Terminator Armour through battlefield, seeking "worthy souls" to collect. Then, Tyranx saw PDF Sargeant rallying his fellow servants of Corpse-Emperor, then managing to kill one of Pursuers of Perfection's Raptors.

"I love, when they fight ba..." - managed to shout another Raptor, before he fell to the ground mid-leap, his head crushed by Tyranx's telekinetic power.

"He is Worthy, which means that he is Mine!" - broadcasted Tyranx to all nearby Pursuers of Perfection, so none of them get the same idea as dead Raptor.

He then blasted fodder servants of Corpse-Emperor with psychic lighting. Next, he telekinetically pulled dogtag of dead PDF Officer to his hand, and began to chant in Dark Tongue. Several minutes later, and ritual was complete. Soul of Corpse-Emperor's servant was imprisoned within his own dogtag. He then, pinned it to his Terminator Armour, causing Soulforged Aegis to absorb it.

Another worthy soul to his collection.

"Thanks to Soulforged Aegis devouring least worthy of souls that I collected, I am constantly forced to seek out new ones, lest my own will be eaten instead. There are only two possible ends of my story: Daemonic Ascension or Self-Destruction. Such is Dark Prince's Decree and my Personal Trial." Tyranx thought

In deepest depths of Tyranx's soul, part of it that left of Perseus Tyrio, noble Librarian of 3rd Legion, cried in anguish

now that I think about it Orellena and Braikam are the best pics

Acronix is an imperial guard recruiting world and has daot tech. If we ask for it we're weakening a regiment as we are taking away the best recruits and we'll most likely have issues with the mechanicum due to the daot.

Gadunka has a shit ton of adamantium and prometheum, but the mayority of the population are underwater abhumans and the administratum would not be pleased if we start taking away those resources

For Acronix and Gadunka we don't need to take a regular tithe of recruits from ether of them probably one time tithe of around 100 aspirants and that's it maybe come back in 50 years or so if we want more but otherwise unless we set up a permanent tithe of recruits from ether of these worlds it shouldn't be much of an issue.

Say @ThunderOwl how has the populations of both braicain and orellena faired since we last saw them Have they bounced back or are others things going good for them?
Both are doing better. The orks in Braicam made a beeline for the capital after defeating the king´s army, so the rest of the planet is well. Orellana is slowly but surely recovering, even if tribal warfare is still killing a percentage of the population.
What about Tyranx the Collector himself?
If the warband is added, so it´s the leader.

How are we viewed in both worlds we know from the Braicam info there are songs of us but are there any intressting things

Like do the the tribes have tales over us and how are the Noble houses who have a son amongst us viewed

Funfact: This is "first concept" of Tyranx the Collector (that I wanted to "rework" into snippet about him)

Tyranx the Collector is a Chaos Sorcerer descent from Emperor's Children Chaos Space Marine Legion, whose "hobby" is collecting dog tags of "worthy" Imperial Guardsmen. Through use of Chaos Sorcery, he bound Guardsmen's very souls to their own dog tags, then pinned these dog tags to his own power armor, allowing him to "utilize" these Guardsmen as servants and soldiers.

Some day, he gathered so much dog tags (and soul-enslaved Guardsmen), that he commissioned allied Heretek of Dark Mechanicum to create Terminator Armor from them.

"Soulforged Aegis" (name of Tyranx the Collector's machine spirit) possesses very "soul-hungry" Machine Spirit, and absorbs souls from any dog tags pinned to it. It regularly "eats" "most unworthy" among Guardsmen's souls collected by Chaos Sorcerer.

Tyranx is fine with "hunger for souls" of his power armor, viewing it as "Trial from the Dark Prince" that forces him to find worthier and worthier souls to enslave. In his mind, this causes that only "actually worthy" among his collection of "soul-enslaved Guardsmen (and Guardswomen)" are allowed to serve him, while "souls of the unworthy" are cast aside and eaten by Soulforged Aegis

That sounds good.

Also do you have any ideas for another planet or space oddity/location?
Because I'm going to be honest I don't want to be the only person writing most of the background lore about the sector if anyone has any ideas feel free to post it

The tribes has tales about it and such, and since you recruited a batch from Braicam, there are plenty of houses that wish to have their second or third sons taken, as it is a great honor for the houses that participated in the initial batch.

What happend to those eldar artificats that was left after the battle, i can't find about it now?
Because I have an idea about some Dark Eldar riders coming for them as a possible enemy for our Chapter
