It's quite a few charms down, so it takes a lot of XP to get it that way. I would like to get Szoreny's Charms as our next set after Malfeas, if we can. They interest me quite a bit.
There are cheaper entry healing charms, and splitting the Fiend's attention trying to be second rate medic costs enough XP to complete a combat charm tree....
Primarily a social focus on command and plotting. For direct combat, he'll be good with guns and with piloting Knightmares. Some specialized skills outside of that, likely in crafting poisons (hence my like of Szoreny Charms - quicksilver blood can serve as a crafting ingredient to make the most effective poisons possible) to supplement his personal combat abilities and computers with the Lore skill to make him into a super hacker.

Why poisons? Lelouch doesn't show any canon inclination for them that I recall, so it seems an odd thing to single out. I'm not saying they can't be very useful, I'm just wondering at the reasoning behind that in particular, as opposed to (say) Shirley and her transmutation charms to create stupid amounts of unobtanium for Knightmare frames, or Kimmy and her breed-your-own-army charms to unleash a horde of monsters.
I just finished watching both seasons of Code Geass for the first time in 2 days just so I can finaly join this quest, because it looks freaking awsome.
[X] Yes
-[X] What sections of the army are chasing her, and how aware are they about magic? Are any of them Dragonblooded?
-[X] You presume Clovis is likely aware of her given his swift response to her capsule being stolen. Does she know if he's an Exalt or not? Does she know who any of the other Exalts in the Royal Family are?
-[X] How many other Geass users is she aware of? Are there any in particular you need to watch out for, like members of the Royal Family? If so, what are their abilities?
-[X] Do the powers granted by Geass work on Exalts, demons, spirits, gods, or any other magical creatures? Also, can non-human magical beings be given Geass, or only non-Exalt humans?
-[X] Does she have any powers other than granting Geasses, and do they work on Exalts, demons, etc?
-[X] Does anyone other than her have the power to grant Geass? If so, how many others are there and who are they?
-[X] Can someone who has a Geass Exalt? If so, do they lose their Geass? Also, what happens if she tries to give Geass to an Exalt aside from it just not working?
-[X] She says she was your mother's friend. Does she know, or at least suspect, who arranged your mother's assassination? If so, who, and what are their likely motives?
-[X] Does she personally know the Ashfords, Ruben specifically?
I've removed the matter on Solars as Peanuckle suggested. We can address C.C.'s ignorance later. I'll add more questions to this list if more that I think are important are suggested.
Now, as for a plan of action, I'm thinking that Alexander89 can handle the general plan of action, though there's some things I definitely want done. We should continue spitballing suggestions so he has ideas to work with, and he can determine what actually would work and what wouldn't. I think the below covers what I want to be sure is done, though further suggestions may make it in.
[X] Plan "GM Does Part of It"
The GM decides on anything not specifically addressed below:
- Organization Name: Black Knights. Uniform designs are same as canon, except silver trim is replaced with brass trim to match the new Zero outfit. Symbol is same shape as in canon, except is brass instead of silver.
- Regardless of what else the GM assigns the group to do in Lelouch's absence, a few specific things need to be done:
-- Ougi, being the current second in command, and anyone else who might be a good officer should be given a number of books on war, strategy, and tactics to read as part of their training.
-- That Tamaki guy doesn't seem very competent. Ensure he isn't put in charge of anything important... like finances. (yes, they did that in canon, he spent a lot of it on expensive meals) Give him a job with fake importance if it comes down to it.
-- The Anuhles should create bulletproof silk uniforms for the core members of the group. At least Ougi and Kallen. The others can have uniforms made from regular fabric, once you've found a reliable way to supply them.
- Inform Nunnally and Sayoko about C.C. staying in your home. Let them know that in spite of her young appearance she did know your mother, and that she's currently in hiding much like you are for her own reasons. They shouldn't talk about her to the Student Council for now, though if she ends up being found by one of them they can just say she's a friend of Milly's, which is true enough - she got dressed up as a fox and everything.
- When you have an opportunity, talk to Sayoko about the other day. Seyrun suspects something is up with her, so try to get to the bottom of it. Start with asking her why she thought you were wearing a mask. Also try to gauge her opinion on Britannia. She's Japanese, knows your true background, and seems quite loyal. If she isn't just an ordinary maid then she may be a useful asset.
- One possible source of income might be to expand the cult's own business with the denizens of Hell. Talk to Seyrun about what goods might be profitable to trade. You could invest some of your own money into expanding the cult's capabilities to trade goods between Creation and Hell, if it seems feasible. Heck, maybe you can get some samples of goods from Malfeas and Ruben might be willing to invest further into your new 'company'.
- Speaking of the cult, it'd probably be a good idea to have them use the demons in their employ help gather intelligence for the Black Knights while you're out. When you meet the cult, see if they can appoint a liaison to work with your group in that regard.
- Learn Old Realm when you have some time. (Linquistics, 3 XP) Recommend Milly begin doing the same.

1. We got Poison (Craft) as a specialty from Seyrun (and can further get free points into that as we increase our Essence if we want). Would seem a waste to never use it.
2. The mechanics for poison in Exalted makes it very deadly and effective. As I understand thing it's one of the most difficult things to deal with if you don't have some kind of immunity. Here's the rules for dealing with it:
Condensed Poison Damage Rules:
When struck by Poison, roll Stamina + Resistance with a Difficulty equal to the poison Toxicity at each Damage interval. Should the roll fail, the character takes the Damage and comes under the listed Penalty. Those without a listed interval are assumed to operate on one unsoakable damage die rolled per tick until it has amassed it's Damage in dice rolled. If the Resistance roll is successful, the character still takes the Damage and halves the Penalty, but the Damage is reduced by one level of severity (Aggravated to Lethal, Lethal to Bashing, Bashing to no damage). Twice the number of required successes reduces it by two levels. Once the maximum damage has been expended, the penalty fades.
Another application of the same poison restores it to full potency from that tick onward, and stacks the combined Penalties of all doses. This reduces as-normal as doses fill up their total Damage and fade away.
L tag - Means it deals Levels of damage rather than rolled dice.
M tag - Effects Exalted as equally as mortals, otherwise mortals add 2 to the Toxicity.
Poison lacking a Tolerance means it is instantly effective. Others require that many doses to be life-threatening.
Szoreny's quicksilver, which you can replace your own blood with by taking Quicksilver Sap Transfusion, deals 7L/minute damage, has a Toxicity of 3, and a Penalty of -3, and has no Tolerance. One does is enough to burn through the health track of most individuals, killing them in one minute.
Using Crafting we can make even deadlier poisons from that (the greatest of poisons are made from Szoreny's sap, according to one of the relevant Charms) and using Oramus Charms we can enhance our ability to make unique poisons. (imagine poisons that are imbued with living essence of demons or taken from beings using Reality Raking Claws, each unique, and able to inflict derangement on top of damage they'd normally inflict)
So, for combat we can fill hollow tip rounds for our gun with doses of deadly poison. Mortals are pretty much fucked when it comes to poison, especially the faster acting and/or supernatural ones, without help. The Exalted of course have tricks to get varying degrees of poison immunity, but not every Exalted will have those Charms as many of them have specific requirements. I went through to look for the varying Charms and their requirements:
Solars
- Immunity To Everything Technique (6m, 1wp, lasts one scene, Resistance 5, Essence 3): Total immunity to poison and disease while in effect. (Abyssal mirror version is Plague Knows Not Its Master, which is identical in function regarding poison but has some interesting affects regarding disease)
Lunars
- Scorpion And Toad Absolution (2m, Instant, Stamina 3, Essence 2): Provides three automatic successes to rolls to resist poison.
- Scorpion And Toad Immunity (Permanent, Stamina 4, Essence 3): Makes the Lunar immune to any poison or disease they have survived before, unless they make an exception. (like alcohol, so they can still get drunk)
Sidereals
- Water and Fire Treaty (5m, 1p, 1blhl, Resistance 3, Essence 2) Can provide immunity to harm from a specific element while active. Poisons associated with an element is included in this. (I'm not sure if this works with the Vitriol element or not, given that's not one of Creation's elements)
- Someone Else's Destiny (4m, Instant, Resistance 3, Essence 2) Can make a poison used on the Sidereal stop taking effect by rolling (Resistance + Stamina) against the poison, removing the substance and then making it so the next character they attack in close combat who takes one roll of lethal or aggravated damage then gets poisoned by it. Can only affect one poison at once, so using a second poison would still be effective. (though the Sidereal may choose which poison will take effect on them)
- Heartless Maiden Trance (8m, 1wp, Indefinite, Resistance 4, Essence 3): While active, pretty much any damage is useless unless it takes the Sidereal to the point of death. Poison is ineffective while the Charm is active, though any poison used on them will kick in the instant the Charm is ended.
Dragonblooded
- Wood aspects are immune to plant-derived poisons (not sure if Szoreny's quicksilver counts or not, but likely not as he isn't a natural plant that is of the Wood element) and produce a natural poison as part of their anima powers.
- (Element) Protection Form (3m, lasts one scene, Resistance 3, Essence 2): The Wood version of this Charm adds the user's Essence value to poison resistance rolls.
- Unbreathing Earth Meditation (2m, lasts one scene, Resistance 4, Essence 3): Among other things, has immunity to poison gas. (but not other vectors for poison, like liquid)
- Extension of the (Element) Dragon's Blessing (10m + 2m per ally, One day, Survival 5, Essence 4): The Wood version confers immunity to natural (but not supernatural) poisons whose Toxicity does not exceed the user's Essence. The other versions confer immunity to poisonous plants and animals indigenous to regions associated with the elemental environment for that version of the Charm.
Infernals
- Transcendent Toxin Internalization (Szoreny, Permanent, Essence 3)
- Great Mother's Tears (Kimbery, Permanent, Essence 3): Immunity to all poisons once all -0 and -1 health levels are filled, and Penalty from poison can't exceed (5 - Essence).
- Fathomless Poison Haven (1m, Indefinite, Essence 2): Immune to harm from non-magical poisons. Repurchase at Essence 3+ extends this to magical toxins.
- Wholeness Rightly Assumed (SWLIHN, Permanent, Essence 3): Extends the Shaping restoration from it's prereq to other things for additional purchases for each type. Poison is one possible purchase. Note that this does not stop poison from working, but merely accelerates the rate at which a dose of poison is expelled from the body. (fastest interval is one minute, so this is useless against Szoreny's sap poison)
- various Shintai while active, such as Greater Shintai of the Endless Desert.
Alchemicals
- I'm sure they have some immunity Charm, though I don't have the manual available at the moment and can't find an online copy.
One important thing to note about the above Charms is that at no point do the Dragon-blooded have complete immunity to poison. Seeing as the primary Exalted that will be supporting Britannia are those, it's a good thing to take note of.
If Lelouch finds himself in personal combat, I'd prefer to fight as unfairly as possible (which works with Ebon Dragon Excellency, by the way). By the by, if our bullets have poison in them and we also use the Hollowing Echo Venom to enhance the attack further we can deal a lot of damage with a single attack. Imagine this combo for a second...
Calculating Dho Angles (surprise attack) + Life-Blighting Emptiness Attack [10L dice of piercing damage (halves armor soak, round down) at max willpower] (w/ Hollowing Echo Venom [doubles damage inflicted by LBEA as a Poison effect, but also bypasses armor rather than just piercing) + Base Damage (5L on a regular pistol) + Poison in bullet (for Szoreny quicksilver, up to 7L per dose used, with other poisons we make possibly being deadlier and faster acting).
Initial attack is 15L rolls of damage. 10 of those will ignore half the opponent's armor soak. Any of those rolls that succeed will cause damage again as a Poison effect that bypasses the armor soak entirely. If any of the original 15L rolls managed to cause any actual damage, then the victim was shot and therefore the poison inside the bullet itself takes effect. So... quite deadly indeed. It won't work on every target, but it'll work on a lot of them.
3. For the other Yozi, remember that we'd have to get the Yozi in question to open up the charm set. They won't likely do so for someone who isn't similar to them in personality, unless Lelouch has a lot of Yozi backing in general due to having advanced the Reclamation's goals. Lelouch fits with Szoreny to an extent, so I think it's a likely path to pursue.

I don't know - it may not have been stated. It's not on the rules in the first page. Even so, if Piercing only ignores 4 soak then it's not much of a difference to the actual results for the above.
Industrial survival frame provides poison immunity with the smoke submodule. Manifold Transhuman Implant is basically a box of 8 mutation points worth of mutations. That one can cover a multitude of things.
Alchemcials have some pretty good War charms as well, though you'd have to get an Int Augmentation (suggest 4th as it boosts Int and doesn't count as dice from charm)
Real problem is getting to Autochthonia, and convincing someone to install said charm without Auto-kun realizing what's going on, and going berserker rage.
ISF and all the submodules is something that any sane alchemical has (Note that their shaping defense is here too) so all of them are probably inmune to poison.
Poison inmunity is much rarer for other exalts, though. Inmunity to everything technique requires resistance 5. And Dragon-blooded don't get any perfect inmunity charm i think, only resistance boosts. Good poisons are something we certainly want, since they are good in combat and for assasinations.
(The awareness charms that allow to detect poisons in your food are pretty rare too)

It's however, not cheap for an Alchemical to activate or acquire, so while optimal in a meta sense, turning it on means they chew up 10 motes in their pool that's heavily locked up with charm commitment costs. Though they'd need it on for our reality warping stuff anyway.

To a point, but AES also requires a 1 mote commitment from the Personal Pool for each installation. Along with other possible modules, that adds up quickly.
