Green Sun, Black Shadows (CG/Exalted)

Then a omake I was thinking of for an Alchemical Exalted might be Cannon?

Maybe. Maybe not. Depends on what Alexander does. Your omake might not mesh with whatever he has planned, if anything. He might not write Alchemicals in at all. They aren't required for the setting, after all.

I was referring to the Alchemicals and mortals living within his world body.

I know. I just meant he might have figured out something different. Like say he had a moment of thought and built a Well of Souls to solve the problem of limited souls, or figured out some way to ensure resources could be produced, or any number of things that might have prevented a resource crunch. Or maybe he just ensured a far greater amount of resources were available, taking more time to gather them before leaving.

Or that resource crunches are relative. The only real resource lack there is the number of souls falling, providing insufficient prayer to Autochton, causing him to eat souls for power, and causing the power supply to drop even further....but the cities aren't thinking of that.

They're resource deprived in the sense that oil is scarce in the real world. Costs are going up, they cannot expand without more resources. That's what they fight for. Autochton himself has a LOT of time before things go critical.

*frowns*
While IC, I don't really like it.
Lelouch can be a right bastard sometimes. Conviction 4 will do that.

Generally speaking we'd probably use imprisonment, some basic reeducation, and regular feedings of Locust Mana to erode their loyalties to Britannia and build up reverence to one of the GSPs.
Yeah. Compassion 2 means he would feel back to cause indiscriminate killing of large amounts of people, but he has no problems being cruel to one or two individuals...especially if he thinks they deserve it.

You can do it, though at the moment I cannot confirm nor deny anything about Alchemicals in Creation.

Once all GSP are posted I plan to make a single thread to list all their character sheets, so that I have easy access to update them. Where would it more appropriate to open it?

Maybe the Creative Discussion and Worldbuilding subforum under Quests?

The Quest Archive Forum would be more appropriate - lots of quests maintain their rules and info sheets there. I also suggest spreading out the sheets, maybe five per post, as editing one post over and over again would get difficult with 50 sheets.

Your right, HE could have but what about the cities, could they have open a portal?

Exalts aren't the only people who matter. They're vanishingly rare and we're only seeing so many of them because we're actively concentrating them into one area. Having skilled mortals is going to be absolutely integral to our operations.

Train her up, give her good equipment and she should be able to handle most any non-specialized DB the Britannians can throw at us.

Creating our own demons would cost a decent amount of Xp, wouldn't they? 4 xp per demon, unless I'm mistaken.

Titanic Spawn Uncountable comes with one free deva species at the cost of 9 XP. Every deva species we create after that will cost 1 XP, though creating new deva of existing species will involve someone (either Lelouch, the relevant soul, or the same type of First Circle Deva) will still need to invest at least four hours into the birthing ritual to birth a new one.

Still, supernatural servitor race.
That's worth a lot.
Paying XP for it is a fairly decent idea given how much XP we're earning, and given we won't have legions of DBs we might as well go with the next best thing.

Ahh. Oops :p
I think you're thinking of the Behemoth crafting charm set.
Hmm. Maybe.

Given if five people vote we get 1 xp that's a very decent cost for a servitor race.

There's also the problem that devas are going to have a tell of some sort, and the exalted are going to know that they're spirits. If we fill our ranks with our own devas, we're basically abandoning subtlety. And wasting all our mortal adherents.

Ok, since we came up with a deva for one of our souls, I figured we should come up with one for another. I basically used the Baidak as a template, and modded them a bit to be not total automata and be Essence 3. The write up could possibly use some work, but I think this is generally what we'd have in mind for an Anesidoran combat deva.

Aldozati, the Rowdy Sacrifices
Devas of the First Circle,
Progeny of the Exuberant Genius

When Anesidora considered the baidak created by Sigereth, she saw the wisdom in creating an army of disposable pawns. However, she could not bring herself to simply copy the idea wholesale, for the Empty Pawns were easily deceived and lacking in initiative. Also, their lack of personality made them extremely boring. Thusly she attempted to create a better piece to serve as the foundation of her forces, and from those efforts were born the aldozati.

The aldozati are physically mechanical, but they possess their own spirit and will. They appear as soldiers whose armor and weapons are made of a black material that has properties of both metal and stone with accents of brass, also wearing a fur mantle. These devas are extremely loyal to their progenitor, and consider it the highest honor of all to die for her in battle knowing their sacrifice will serve Anesidora's plans.

While on duty they are extremely well disciplined, but in their free time the Rowdy Sacrifices will seek to enjoy themselves by acting as many soldiers do when off duty. They will play games of chance with dice or cards, arm wrestle, boisterously tell stories, and other such things. Sometimes they will even pretend to eat and drink, even though they physically are unable to do so, simply going through the motions by eating imaginary food or drinking non-existent ale from an empty mug. They will even go so far as to feign drunkenness. Mortal soldiers often find their antics amusing, and as such will happily invite an aldozat to join them.

Aldozati reproduce by playing chess using pieces made from black iron and brass. At any point during this ritual if there are no pawns on the board then the game must be started anew. After four hours of play, the pieces will melt and the material will coalesce in a display of Essence to form the newborn aldozat.

Well, eventually we will reveal our worship of the Yozis publicly so eventually subtlety will definitely be gone, but we definitely shouldn't ignore our mortal resources. We can only summon one deva from our soul per day while in Creation, and the birthing rituals aren't always going to be something the first circles can do themselves with great frequency. (Gardelivs can't just have their competitions daily, for instance) Our custom devas should serve to supplement our efforts more than anything.
