Green Sun, Black Shadows (CG/Exalted)

Is that a potential Oramus Hearthstone?

Speaking of Yozis and Hearthstones, I have a question about how those work. Basically, I'm wondering if we're only allowed to attune to Yozi-aspected Hearthstones that are aspected to our Caste, Patron, or Favored Yozi? Or are we allowed to attune to any kind of Yozi Hearthstone, and it's just that it's easier to get a hold of Hearthstones that are attuned to our Caste, Patron or Favored Yozi?

Oh, and before I forget:

Roll (Persuading Leila):

(Plus three successes Second Oramus Excellency. Also playing on both an Intimacy and Motivation, plus bonus from Appearance...yup, Lelouch is confirmed as the most Magnificent Bastard Pretty Boy ever
This is why Solars led the Dragonblooded. We just have a little more color on us.

That said, what was the DC for convincing a freshly-exalted DB to betray her people and join the Reclamation? Or at least work with Reclamation agents?

I kinda love the mechanic of the subordinate soldier being more powerful and in-the-know than the superior.

Nice. By the by, is there any bonus or change in opposing character's DV when they've got the intimacy of fascination towards us? I'm not completely familiar with the mechanics.

A little? Bitch, please, we're an impossible rainbow of infinite not-colors. Just look into our eyes!

She isn't betraying her people in the slightest.

She works for the EU, and fights against Brittania. We are enemies of Brittania. Profit.

And even if she is a Dragon blooded, this isn't creation. She hasn't been exposed to anti-anathema propaganda.

The whole free the Yozi, torture everybody forever thing would make her leave us, but she doesn't know about that, and is not like we really plan to go with it ourselves anyway.

While it's nice to hear that Leila will work with us, I'm more interested in what Ligier thinks. Did we manage to secure ourselves leadership of the Infernals? Or have we failed to impress someone who is arguably the most important Unquestionable?

...Could we also get a certain character's rainbow-hair from Kill La Kill if we prove worthy enough for Oramus? We could also start making epic speeches about the benefits of silk clothing. :p

She just watched her subordinate spill classified information on a secret project to people she's just met for the first time. He clearly has alternative loyalties and likely expects her to act as a double-agent as well.

I think he might be surprised that it was the Fiend instead of the Slayer who swiftly took command, but he'll probably appreciate the new batch of Infernals not being a bunch of headless chickens. I think we'll be in charge as long as we can maintain the personal respect and trust (or at least subservience) of the others. This isn't a formalized station, but rather one where the less-experienced turn to the more-experienced for guidance. If it becomes apparent that we aren't performing well enough, someone else may make a play for power.

We could make our two paradox-colored eyes into eight paradox-colored eyes, if we take the Unwoven Coadjutor mutation charm. That's four times the mind-shattering obsession gaze!
(The funny part is, that even though it would make us look obviously unnatural and weird, we'd still be superduper pretty and intruiging.)

Considering he's outright been told that Lelouch would be "an ideal leader capable of focusing all the Green Sun Princes into a force on equal footing with Britannia, Heaven and the Underworld" I'm not sure why you think he'd be surprised.

Actually, the GM told us earlier about the Hearthstone we'd get if elected Marshal of the Althing Infernal by the others, so there is a bit of a formal aspect to things.

Oh. I haven't been paying attention to the hearthstone discussion. That's pretty cool, but I imagine we'd still hold position based on our performance.

It's chosen by the Infernals rather than Ligier, but since there's only five of us right now the odds are pretty damn good. In the group Kaguya seems to be the only other one who might really be suited for the job, but she'd support us for the position. Milly would too, I think. As such we'd already have a majority of the votes.

I don't know much about Akito, but from his depiction here he strikes me as the kind of guy who's fine with following orders so long as he gets sent into combat a lot and has lots of fun on leave. More Isidoros than Malfeas.

I think there should be some limitations. Like, adding the Sea Keyword or making the Charm work only if the target works on something the Infernal approves or has the Infernal as central subject.
Well, I used the word 'may' in there to imply that the Infernal can choose whether or not to add those successes. Though adding the Sea keyword makes some sense.

Something like this?

AID-GRANTING BENEVOLENCE
Cost: 10m, 1wp
Mins: Essence 3
Duration: Indefinite
Keywords: Touch, Sea
Prerequisite Charms: First Kimbery Excellency

The Sea That Marched Against The Flame wrath against those who have betrayed her is vast, but greater still is her kindness towards her children. The Infernal pays ten motes and one willpower, then touches a Beloved character. As long as the motes remain committed, the Infernal becomes aware of any rolls the Beloved character makes and can choose to add (Infernal's Essence) automatic successes to them. The Beloved character must be within one mile of a Sea (as defined by the Sea keyword) for this charm to work. If a Beloved character targeted by this charm loses her Beloved status, the charm automatically ends.

Yes it is.

The second one. In this case the Hearthstone of either Vitriol or Ebon Dragon will belong to the Manse your personal Palace has been build upon.

This seems...fine. But the Beloved character must be near the Sea for it to work.

Some ideas for EU characters/Exalted. Don't think I'll have the time to flesh them out myself, but someone else might find them them useful as inspiration, perhaps.

- a south american detective (honorary britannian?) who kept investigating the local drug trade, found out that the cartels producing the drugs are backed by the britannian nobility, because they are quite happy to have the numbers supplied with cheap and plentiful drugs like heroine, cocaine, etc. that keep them docile and dependent.

Obviously good at investigation and information gathering, but I figure he might also be useful for things like forging evidence and staging crime scenes, plus plenty of underworld contacts.

- a german tank ace who got his ass handed to him in a border skirmish with britannian knightmares. he absolutely hates KFs, because he knows that by all conventional logic the tank should be superior in open battle, yet somehow the KFs always come out ahead. he got an offer from hell, and now wants to rip the current KF-focused military doctrine to shreds.

I just like the idea of someone who lives in a mecha-setting, and after experiencing the usual plot-armor of mechas goes "that's bullshit" and "I'm gonna kill it and desecrate the corpse".
maybe while piloting something like this; "heavy armor so their piddly autocannons can't get through the weakpoints!" and "moar guns to fill all the space they'd normally dodge into with bullets!"
perhaps taking some inspiration from 40k Chaos vehicles/daemon engines in general. I like war-/hellstriders well enough, but having something like this or this would also be cool.

- an engineer from one of the other EU countries (france, maybe? dutch?) who had been trying to develop infantry power armor as a potential counter to KFs, but never got the designs to quite work on his own, and then blew his presentation when trying to attract investors from the military or maybe local arms manufacturers.

I just realized something: the penalty from "What Is and What Should Never Be" happens only in Creation. Being in Malfeas, Lelouch shouldn't have noticed the drop in perception.
If you are okay I can leave the Charm as it is, and then provide you with the Wyld Jem so that even in Creation Lelouch is protected.

It also gives us a bonus for Calculating Do-Hna Angles. I'm really looking forward to synergizing that with "Light the Lights" so we can go "Hey, guess what I'm going to do with this gun? I'm going to shoot you!" and then we shoot them and they don't even see it coming. It will be glorious trolling. So much of it.
