Grand Army of the Republic: A Star Wars Plan Quest

[X] Doctor Tanasi Desnos
[X] Zam Wesell
My personal hopes are to come out of the plan with as many gene augments to the clones as possible, so this is a simple choice for me.

I want the Doctor to help introduce Spartans to the Star Wars galaxy. I'm curious if at the end our clones will be outshining the Jedi on the battlefield. The image of Anakin having to catch up to his clones instead of the other way around would be amusing.

The power of science is insignificant next to the power of the Force!

Also Kamino being a water world is utter shit for expansion. More expensive infrastructure.

Rishi is a better location and the natives are friendly. You just need to drive the smugglers and pirates out.
Something to also keep in mind is this is an army meant to fight across the galaxy, we're probably gunna have to go middle of the road quality wise for the equipment if we want them to be able to actually have the numbers required to fight a Galactic war.

You know, on that front, I wonder if it might be wise to use the surrounding planets with particular piratical issues as test runs for the various grades of clone. Certainly, having our special operations forces having some level of experience under their belt might go a long way to improving them over their already terrifying canon abilities. Places like Rishi, Tatooine, etc, could certainly be a good place to do some spec-ops practice for our forces.

Get some voice modulators or sound proof helmets and make sure the clones never take them off around others and we could have the clones act as merc's or a type of Vigilante force to get them some experience.

I want to save time by buying equipment from outside and Zam Wesell will help us avoid attracting too much attention.

Resources (R): 9,690
At this rate of spending we will have only 32 more quarters of funds. And I suspect our research budget will increase. Not to mention the cost of larger batches of clones. There are 12 quarters in each 3 year plan. We will need to start looking for some more resources if we want to keep expanding.
Especially if we will start buying some of the equipment. I doubt it will just cost Sith Satisfaction and Exposure. That will just be the cost of introducing us to the company. And due to secrecy we will most likely need to pay premium prices.

Your budget is determined at the start of each plan. If you need more resources by the end of 29 BBY, you can ask for more when discussing the next plan with Dooku.

@Oshha A quick question about suppliers. If we choose one of those options and succeed then will we then get options to select a supplier or type of contract (license to produce a product or getting the finished product) with further costs?
And will selecting for example the Vehicle Suppliers option require us to select a single type of vehicle (Speeders/Tanks/Walkers) or will we be able to buy a set?
Because if it will be a single type then we could really burn our Sith Support fast on outsourcing equipment.

It will vary depending on which option you choose. It is picking a supplier to make a contact with and the extend of that contact depends on which option the thread votes, similar to the current vote. Some contracts might be a set whilst others might be for a single vehicle. That said, the Sith will be shortly offering some suppliers which don't cost Sith Support and Exposure in the next year or two, but that would mean going with their choice of suppliers over picking your own.

Ultimately, going to outside suppliers that the Sith have directed you to is supposed to drain Sith Support. That is intentional game design.

I'd like to say that buying from suppliers for general blasters and such is probably a good Idea, developing specialist armor that foils droid optics might be an avenue worth pursuing.
