Very nice chapter, Erien. Very nice. So BB is either Rin's servant or not and that is troublesome. With Fujimaru's Command Seal being much weaker than our seals and probably not being BB master and us being in cyberspace that BB control, summon Morderd is not possible. Our odd is quite bad. I will hold my vote first.

[X] Command seal to summon Mordred
-[X] Ask Fujimaru what BB's weaknesses are

A part of me feels hope. Maybe, just maybe, we can get Rin out of this mess. I don't think we'll get the romance, like ever, but maybe today is the day everybody lives.

Yeah, I don't think so, either.

The only people around you now are Ayako, Illya, and Fujimaru, the rest are invisible, having slipped into spirit form so as to not draw attention.
Iiirc Mash can't go into spirit form, cuz Demi-Servant n all that stuff.

KAIRI

Man, it feels weird to fall for a BB scheme outside of FGO 9where it's usually, yknow, obvious)

I dunno how I wanna vote, but I've got a couple thoughts. I don't trust command sealing Mordred here--based on the two showings we've had of cyberspace, it seems doubtful that it'd work. BB seems more or less like God here. That also doesn't address that we don't know who's servant she is--the thinking here is Rin, but she's still referring to Guda as master as well. That said, is it really going to matter that much? She wouldn't let s little thing like seals stop her, would she?

I told you all to kill BB when we had the chance. (I fucking hate BB XD)

[X] [Write-in] Trick BB in coming close then rip her throat out with your bare hands!

Wow. We fell for BB's scheme. Neat.
I warned you all! Told ya' all to kill BB when we had the chance but no. And now far too many are too eagerly jumping on the bandwagon of Mind of Steel.

Now if we refuse what are the odds that BB wouldn't just kill Rin herself?

... We need to surprise her and get Rin out of her grasp at the same time.

Lol.
[X] [Go after The Monster]

Rin triggered this bad end on her own. It's not worth doing wrong by Raiga, by many Innocents, to save one foolish magus from the consequences of her poor choice in allies and enemies. Sometimes you have to let a cup fall and break to save a stack of plates.
I voted for going after the monster. I certainly didn't see through BB's kidnap taiga scheme, but I was comfortable leaving things to Raiga, and seeing who he had on hand, and the actual details of the events transpiring, as well as what this cost us, I don't regret my vote at all.

My problem with killing Rin here is it requires us to trust BB. She's already changed the rules once we have to pray we she doesn't anymore.

Think it would have failed. Considering BB could just have not returned Taiga after Rin is dead.

So... we did make the "right" decision. Since Rin seemed to have been innocent in all of this. But now she may have to die either way.
No, she's not. The only thing she's innocent of is kidnapping Taiga - she very much did everything else we'd already resolved to take her down for. We pointed out in this very chapter that she'd already killed innocent people, and her response was "yeah well it seemed like a good idea at the time".

Everyone saying BB will just lie about the deal is, I think, misunderstanding the nature of her cruelty. She can be deceptive and misleading, but offering such a direct choice and then simply ignoring the outcome is typically beneath her. It's boring, and suggests she doesn't have the ability to guide the target to the decision she "wanted".

More pressingly, they're trying to make it into a non-choice. "Oh, it doesn't matter if we pick Rin over Taiga, because Taiga will die anyway". No, she won't. By that logic we might as well say "It doesn't matter if we pick Taiga over Rin, because Rin will survive anyway". Own the fact that you're willing to throw away our sister's life just to avoid following through on a decision Shirou already (quite rightly) made, and argue for that, not the outcome that you've invented.

The United Mages of Shirou do not negotiate with terrorists.
Yes, which Rin very much is.

I do feel the need to say that Rin is not a terrorist I'm not even really a Rin fan or even shipper but Bebe literally just admitted to hypnotizing her essentially into going to the fake priest in the first place. Which essentially means evil God asshole BB has been the super villain this whole time and we need to find a way to fucking murder her and killing Rin doesn't get tiger back simply because why the fuck would we trust evil God asshole BB.

There's the thing we find her and BB is making fun of her for crying for having accidentally killed people that got in the way of what she thought was a person hunting her with a coalition of God how many servants do we have on our side right now Rider, assassin, Archer, Berserker, Caster after by the way Berserker blew up her fucking house you know the ancestral home of the tossaka for the last the Holy Grail Wars have been going for 50/50/50 50 + 10 years so about 200 years or so and possibly all the information of her lineage also gone if it wasn't in her Crest it was destroyed. Not to mention all the possible gems and general magic materials that also went with it. There is a fuck ton of extenuating circumstances here that requires active ignorance to not take it to account.

I do feel need to reiterate Shirou in multiple routes is willing let Shinji who without any level of extenuating circumstances that he could see go if he turned off the grid that would liquidate at very least 200 people from ages 14 to 18 and a couple of teachers in the same novel he's willing to try to save threat to literally every being on Earth dark Sakura.

Another thing being that BB just admitted to essentially planting ideas within her dreams and stoking her paranoia and generally being an evil manipulative piece of shit which makes it insanely difficult to trust that she will actually give back tiger because her word is apparently shit or she will just lie if she thinks it's interesting which considering that she's got Taiga as literally a puppet on rope to drag us around makes it really difficult inherently to believe that she'll actually follow through on her fucking word.

Counterpoint: BB has decided that with Angry Mango taking a snooze due to Sakura being left in character arc stasis and Ililya no longer being Kill Som Goku'd by the peppered corpse of her mother, she needed to be the one to go corrupt a scion of the Three Families.

I would personally blame the mastermind over the gaslit cultist.

Wait, since Rin had nothing to do with this, who threw the phone through the window?
I'm surprised it took so long for someone to notice. Indeed, a mystery.

Fair enough. Not too important however.

BB is Zouken in drag.

Gotta be the Priest. Rin was successfully gaslit into intentionally Blackening Saber, so the last person who would have access to the phone would be the person who now has more control over the Grail Mud that corrupted Saber.

Hell, this is probably an outright deal between Kotomine and BB. Rin gets to suffer then die, but Shirou has to be dragged through the mud and lose his morals.
BB is Zouken in drag.
Ugh. Brother, ugh.

But stealing that if we win.

Kirei being involved tracks. BB is contractually obligated never to actually be the big bad, no matter how much she wants to be. Got that penultimate boss kouhai energy.

At this point, I'm just waiting for a demon pillar to show up too.

We already have Sauron running around England unchecked.

[Kill Rin]

You guys are too hopeful.
Talking about summoning Mordred or asking about BB weakness, when even breathing wrong could set her off, and BB could problably kill Taiga instantly the moment she decides to do so.

I dont want to kil Rin, but i am fucking pissed of at her. I dont know if Im the one who didnt pay attention, but the fact that she was completely aware of what she was doing with Saber is new information for me, and to me thats her worst crime. Indererectly causing an innocent to die is still better than betraying your ally and replacing her mind against her will.
It still dont feel right to kill her but thats only because she is a cute little girl who is defenceless and scared, and because im fond of the character.
If i replace her face with Shinji, even if Shinji never did anything to Sakura, Shinji forcing Rider to become Gorgon and porpusely using a city as the battlefield without care for collateral damage would already make me give him the death penalty.
So i will be unbiased and will give the TwinTail the same judgment i would the Seawood.

One thing I don't understand about the kill Rin stance in general is what good can possibly come of listening to the unambiguously evil Servant who literally just admitted to spurring Rin to do most of what she did. Rin might not have had a problem with it but the paranoia and who she went to are completely BB's fault why would we want to listen to her or believe anything she has to say. She literally turned Taiga's body into a puppet and has it hanging by a noose. Goddamn near gloating that she can make Shirou do whatever she wants by tugging at his strings. She literally admitted that she's only trying to kill Rin because she got bored of her and has some level of fondness or Amusement with us why would you give back Taiga if she's not forced to? Rather than jerking us around some more.
