Just hoping Circe and Medea both healed Sakura fully, and are keeping her on induced sleep until Shirou returns and can continue where they left off talking with her

Oh and also dressing down EMIYA to figure out how self-destructive Shirou ended being most timelines and how much he knows/no longer knows

One more and I will.

So noted.

Admittedly as much as I liked the pre and post pillow talk, my favourite part of the chapter is undoubtedly the little internal spiel that Ophelia goes on about planes.

It really hammers home how, for a lack of a better word, weird mages are. Every day tens if not hundreds of thousands of people fly, and most probably only vaguely understand how a plane works - they just know that it does - it certainly probably crosses everyone's mind that "what if there's a crash, how screwed would I be?" but those mostly get brushed off as passing intrusive thoughts.

For a mage though, even if they understand the how and the why, they don't like it because they can't control it. Most mages have two things that they strive for, probably to the point of compulsion: understanding and authority, the ability to know and the ability to control. Mages that don't strive for these things are looked at as oddballs at best, and dangerous outliers at worst.

So, having said that.

Ophelia has no idea what she's in for with this group, does she? It's going to break her brain.

Mages are near universally terrible people, even the nicest ones wouldn't think twice over fucking over a 'regular' human. But they doesn't mean their culture isn't interesting.

Well, seems Illya playtime is in order.

We are now in the Dominic Toretto timeline

Please let me know what ya'll thought of that one! Was tricky figuring out that semi-lewd.
The Ophelia bit was pretty good. I like how much she doubts she really got away. That sort of paranoia will serve her well.

Ayako was adorably assertive. She's grasped that Shirou needs precise instructions to accomplish anything of note..

Keep up the good work.

Honestly, it's part of the same reason why I love series like El Melloi that focus more on the human side of the nasuverse, since you really get to see just how alien the though process of a mage really is compared to the average person.

Sakura being ignored until she crashes out is a universal constant, it seems.

Ehh, I'm sure she'll get over Rin's death just fine. What's the worst that could happen?

Dark Sakura: "Oh, hi there."

It'll probably be fine though. The entire reason we talked to her before Ayako was to get ahead of any spiraling. And we interacted with her... what? 2, 3 hours ago? I think we can afford to handle a couple other pressing concerns.

"You must spend every waking moment interacting with Sakura or else. If you do not take her actions at every possible opportunity she will go insane and kill everyone." - Sakura's... fans?

I still think this fic is a survival fic; and in the end, we're left with one waifu/husbando, and according to the DM, it'll be Kirei

Also, I loved the love scene. Fluffy, funny, heartbreaking at times, and, well, it seemed real. A bit exaggerated, but duh, it's art.
