Lots of people see something in Rin I clearly don't. I'm just happy to have some of our social vote options trimmed. We've already got what, ten people we need to have serious, regular interaction with? And a few of them are high risk for a verity of reasons (Sakura is a few bad days away from super villainy, Ayako is a normie, the time traveler). It's an honest relief to know Rin's fate is out of our hands, even if it's for the worst.

Guys. Guys. Guys.

Can we try to NOT fish up any more romances than we already have? Since it seems *counts on fingers* at least FIVE people are already gunning for the Shirou route? And that the Witch Of Betrayal is tolerant of like at most 2 of them?

Like, I don't think she's murderous. Yet. But I WILL say that more pig curses are very likely in our future if we try to crank our rizz any higher.

Circe will help Medea getting used to sharing Shirou. And Medea isn't at bad terms with any of the girls, and certainly helps 3 of them (Sakura, Taiga and Ayako) are "normal" compared to her and her Auntie

Hah. It reminds me of a rpg playthrough where you ignore a recruitable companion.

Just watch them sadly paw at the window of your house pining as everyone is laughing and sharing in the camaraderie.

"S-screw you Shirou, I don't need to be in your friend circle I have Sauron!"

As sad as I am about being locked out of the Rin route, it is kind of understandable. With a large cast, someone will get receive a reduced presence. Additionally, Rin's role with Shirou has often included something like a mentor figure in the ways of magic, which Circe and Medea are filling instead.

"Just for saying that we shall now add Issei, Shinji, Kiara Sessyoin+Kiara Kisshouin, and Astolfo as romance options now" :V

Edit: and in case you think I stuttered when mentioning two Kiara's... Well you haven't gone deep enough into the "Nasuverse" pit

In any case, next chapter by the 4th, sorry for any disappointment on the Rin front, but this is a visual novel adaptation.

Kinda hard to see anything in a character when she's been ignored for the majority of the quest. People wouldn't have known that Ayako was a person who existed if she wasn't voted in.

I know I would've gladly subbed Rin in Ayako's place, but I know I'm in the minority here

In other news, any chances of Mordred's plotline getting resolved are being kicked to the curb. I know that "half-maddened" Berzerker makes for a less interesting socializing target that actually cognizance potential love interests, but man, girl can't catch a break.

Thing is, I know Rin. If you know anything Fate adjacent, you know Rin. You know Teiga and Sakura too, and most servants. Rin is, in point of fact, an extremely popular character. I've just never liked her. Eiren could do a good job with her, but that's more on his skill as a writer then anything special about Rin. Ayako is much more my speed, and is largely ignored by the franchise. So I'm definitely much happier with Ayako getting in the limelight as opposed to Rin, again.

I mean, I would have said Sakura since she's my least favorite. But her backstory meant that she had enough sympathy points to buy her way into any FSN quest, so that would be a fool's errant at best.

Next chapter hopefully tomorrow, it has... a surprise.

In the meantime, if you enjoy the story, please consider voting for it!
