I will admit I don't have THAT much room to talk as I have not been doing that great at actually getting my votes in on this quest but I wouldn't really describe this as voting purely on logic. After all, logically, if what is happening in the previous update is happening, things aren't going that great for Rin, and logically if we don't want to do anything about that, there are consequences to that potentially at play.
Rather, if you vote with a narrow focus on exactly what's in front of you, you're risking consequences outside of that narrow focus.

Yeah, while I knew having a relationship with Rin like with the other girls was a far away possibility, it feels a bit heavy knowing the chance Is gone for good.
Still, it was for the best. Sakura, Taiga and Ayako have been a part of Shirou's life for much longer, and being around them hace Shirou a life outside of his Drean.
Oh we are going to sabe Rin and Baeber! Even if it is from themselves, and maybe help them realice they can be happy together, which Is the leason Shirou Is taking from all the girls around him.

... Yeah I would prefer "the ignorance" of not knowing, would make our bad decisions more of a shock but I appreciate the heads up of a beloved character death I guess

It's unfortunate, but at the same time, we may as well have negligible Rin points and are several days into the story and are past the route splits. Shirou has been focusing on the people he knows and in particular has been romancing, in that blind to love Emiya way, Medea and Ayako. The way I see it, Rin was always going to be a secondary character with how things were going, and now she's very squarely outside Shirou's reach.

We just need to tolerate her mispronunciation of our name, her obsession with butlers (or Shiro wearing their suit's), her hyena/french (despite being Finnish) laugh, and most tragically - her distinct lack of gorilla arms,
Edit: somehow I would not be surprised if that route somehow sidestepped the permenant Rin lock - if only so they could hate f**k each other.
If there's Sauron as a part of the picture though... Damn she's in trouble. Being so intensly prideful and vain (so very unlike Rin, of course); she will have trouble resisting his gifts.
Of his foes among the clocktower, the only one I can see being a true hurdle for him is Grey, simply because her outlook/humility is closest to that of the hobbits; and therefore the most likely to be able to resist him at first - and potentially not be tempted enough to actually destroy the thing binding him to the world (Olga, his rings, or otherwise), and not allow a contract to be remade with her (too many magi would be tempted with potentially 'controlling' such a powerful servant in the upcoming war).
