Well looks like our Dino problems continue, and if that interlude is anything to go by that Legendary Warrior of Thunder that escaped is going to end up causing some trouble too.

Lets hope Thunderboi doesn't choose the worst possible time to show up cause Beats going to want to bring him down.

No, I'm pretty sure that Grottemon was referring to Sparks actually. He was talking about being personally saved by Dinohumon, and that reminded me of that one Goblimon that was much sturdier than his companions... and when trying to get away he defaulted to an attempt at digging his way out of the situation he was in. Not running away, digging.

Well lets hope then.

Last I checked the mansion holding thunder jerk was under attack and I just can shake the feeling that Beats arch enemy has a more than good chance of being let loose in the chaos.

Still that makes more sense than some Gloaming forces just having a fight with em, though I can imagine that if thunderboi manages to escape he'll have a positive opinion of the faction.

I was waiting to see if the write in option got any neat suggestions (and totally not just because I forgot to vote again), but I guess I'll go with the mystery box. Those are always fun. Except when they're not, but what are the odds of that happening? :V

Honestly? I'm more worried about what else Phelesmon has in his collection. I seriously doubt that Blitzmon is the worst of it.

I'm just very paraniod regarding that Thunder Elemental.

I can totally see something like this happening.

*Ie for some strange and convoluted chain of events Verge and Dinoboi aren't trying to kill each other while Beat is at the side and Verge has a conversation with Luna*

Thunderboi: "Gee what a touching conclusion... it would be a real dick move if someone was to jump in, delete the bear and then load him while no ones tough enough to do anything about it(

It turns out it's one of Verges eeeeeeeeeevil twins! A Noisedrimogemon who also happened to have been a rookie for the longest time but takes Verges anger up to eleven but adds a horrifing amount of intelligence and a lack of devotion to anything other the the acquisition of more powa!

Or worse it's the manifestation of Windows 9!

Also, Luna is now trusted enough to issue orders to subordinates. Both good and bad. Good in that she has more freedom and influence, bad in that it entwines her further with the Gloaming.

Yeah the fact that her and Thresh are based off battle reports doing very well in Count's army is also worrying. Along with fact we have little way of recognizing each other at the moment.

It has come to my attention that I was being foolish with how I handled the stat gains on Verge's new diet.

For what is gained for the cost and going by my previous methods such as the supplements and training weights, the one stat point per day with food doesn't really make sense.

So I'll be looking into changing that. With my current idea being one per week instead.

If people now don't think it's worth the cost I understand. And if there are problems with it I'd be willing to tinker with things further and redo the vote if necessary.
 
Might want to adjust the cost a bit, the prices were fine because they had great value, but if its as expensive as before and 1/7 as effective, then something's wrong.
Maybe make the price a weekly basis for the supplements? We pay the same amount per stat point, but we don't gain it so crazy fast.

Okay, so Indid the math. Going by the previous cost for the supplements (300 per day) and the fact that it gave two means individually each would cost 150.

Which when divided by 7 equals out to 21. Which I'll move down to 20.

Factor that into the previous costs and I can essentially halve everything. Getting 20 for veggies, 30 for Meat and 40 for the sweet fruit.

90 bits in total. Which when added with Travel Bread equals 810 bits.

Leaving Verge getting payed 90 bits per day.

    Pit: A digimon? So he's kind of like a pokemon but digital right?
    Palutina: Sort of, anyway Verge's particular species a drimogemon, ordinarily a cowardly species Verge himself seems to have gotten over that trait, and will not hesitate to put this drill of his to good use.
    Pit: He sounds pretty nasty.... wait if he's like a pokemon does that mean he can evolve too?
    Palutina: Yes actually, Verge is actually in his weakest combat capible evolution, his strongest at the moment...
    Viridi: His strongest is a bear that knows martial arts and has all the strength that comes with it.
    Pit: Oh so I guess that would be his super form then?
    Palutina: No actually that is his normal form, his current one is actually a throwback to his younger days.
    Pit: Wait then why is he fighting in this one then?!
    Viridi: Because his true form is too big for smash!.... as if we haven't heard that one already.

    ... Yeah I couldn't help it, between this and my recent viewing of Into the Spider Verse I've been going a bit nuts.

    Narrator: In multiverse full of many strange and wonders things.

    *A portal opens up dropping several silhouettes in front of a Gear shaped digimon.*

    Narrator: Several heros will be called upon to save the world... at the behest of a shameless cameo!

    Gears: The voice in my head appears to be acting up again..... I should be more careful to ignore them.

    *The camera closes in on a humaniod digimon with flaming fists*

    Narrator: Starring Agunimon the elemental hero of fire!

    Agunimon I will not allow evil to go unchallanged! That I promise!

    *Next a bunny like digimon enter the scene kicking away some sort of monster made up of multiple gaurdromon welded together*

    Narrator: Luna the lady of the moon

    Luna: Don't worry you can count on me!

    *After Luna the camera closes in on a giant black wolf*

    Narrator: Gnaw the token rival!

    Gnaw: What the?! Who said that!?

    * Finally the camera closes in on a giant bear peeling apparet several Mechanorimon like they where onions*

    Narrator: And Verge as a bear!

    *Almost immedialty Luna and Agunimon halt:

    Agunimon/Luna: Wait Verge/Onichan!? Your alive!

    Verge: Of course I... wait are you saying I die in your universes!?

    Gnaw: Looks like it.... I have to say Verge despite being so much bigger you look far less unstable as a bear then you ever did as a digmon.

    Verge.... I don't even want to know.

    Narrator: Together can they defeat the evil threatening all their homes?

    Verge:... this is going to end with me pain.

    Narrator: And will Verge ever escape his terminal case of Leomon syndrome?

    Verge: Wait what?

    Narrator: We'll you'll just have to see the special to find out! See you all later.

    Gears:... It appears that the voices in my head have highjacked my installed speaker systems... this is very worrying.

    "Ergh, quiet thyself." Sparks groans from the entrance of his tent. "Mine head still aches from…" the one armed Wizardmon reaches up to lightly rub the back of his head, "Spirits below what happened?"

    "Hn." Beat grunts, raising up closed fist. "You were being stupid, I had to shatter you."

    "Ah, prick. Shoulda friggen figured it was thine handiwork." The cripple grumbles, throwing his fellow soldier a pained glare.

    "Friend Spar-!" Pit cuts his yell off. "Friend Sparks, my most gracious thanks for defending my character against those detractors. Hyuk, it was truly the Lord's own will that you were set by my side during those proceedings. And-"

    "Yeah, yeah, I get thine words. Friendship and praising your ten be damned deity. Mrmph, was there anything else?

    "I mean… uh." The small angel takes a second to work his energy back up. "Yes my stalwart companion. Throne HolyAngemon has officially signed the promotions for Comrade Beat and myself. Praise the Lord! My ambition is one wingbeat closer to fruition!" The angel proudly proclaims, thrusting his rod towards the sky. "Watch over me Angemon, I won't let you down again."

    If the Stingmon is happy at the news he doesn't show it, instead choosing to merely shrug.

    "Tis only natural given thine strength Pit. Though I assume mine position was not given similar consideration?"

    "Well… friend Sparks, our holy Throne made no-"

    "Bah, like I care about that. How was Verge fairing? Has he yet woken? And are his injuries recovered?"

    "Indeed they have my most loyal of comrades. HolyAngemon and Frigimon worked tirelessly to fully reattach his head! Now it's only a matter of time until friend Verge comes to!"

    The Wizardmon breathes a sigh of relief at that, though he still glares at the Pidmon for his yelling. His anger transfers into his next grumbling sentence.

    "Still can't believe that-that bint nearly deleted him. Mine fury wrought upon her was not nearly enough." Pits lips turn down into an unhappy frown.

    "Our ally's dark evolution was most… unholy. My stalwart comrades listen please. This may be difficult to believe, but by God's divine grace, as a LadyDevimon we cannot trust her any longer."

    "Hn." The Stingmon shrugs noncomitally once again.

    "Heh, don't have to inform me twice over, her actions speak for themselves." Sparks chuckles darkly before looking down at the ground with concern. "But… Verge shall not follow thine words. He has foolish compassion greater than one might expect. 'Tis mine fear is that he shall ignore that duplicitous wench's condition and actions. To think that I tried to befriend her..."

    "Friend Verge's loyalty and kindness are admirable traits, we should not condemn our friend for them, even when those traits are directed towards one such as Ardat." The low-ranking angel admonishes causing the magic user to scoff. "However! We too cannot forget that Ardat was our comrade. Lord in Heaven we should endeavour not to show her disrespect even if we can no longer fight by her side."

    "Respect?! Bah, spirits below she should be glad mine request was denied. I want nothing more to do with that.."

    "Peace. You have great anger in your core I understand, but Angemon taught me that giving into that feeling is weakness. I pray for Verge's recovery and scorn Ardat for her betrayal, but we cannot get lost in our grievances. That way lies disaster."

    "Hrn…" Sparks trails off into a wordless grumble. "Fine. And if he wishes to employ foolishness then I shall… heh, mine capabilities are not to be underestimed even to one such as her. 'Till then, I shalt go visit him once more. Perhaps a friendly voice may wake Verge from his slumber."

    "My best wishes go with your friend Sparks. May the Lord bless your path."

    "Blah, blah, I know… heh, thanks." The cripple flashes him a thumbs up, grabs his staff and heads out.

    "Now comrade Beat! Have you ever thought about accepting our glorious creator's presence into your-" Sparks hurries along out of ear-shot, lest the Pidmon try to convert him once more.

    • Well can't say that kind of reaction isn't expected, but it kind of really drives home how much Verge is the heart of the current party.

    Still I wonder if Sparks will be able to forgive Ardat after this? An if so what it will take to do so?
