You know, everytime I look at the DoD picture it makes me want to unlock planes. Cause that ship could work really well as a carrier.

Reliable: Electrified Armor
And this reminded me that we still have to research that armor. Putting that on some of the Scutters could be hilarious.

Type: Leputa

Status: Core-Controlled

Structural Integrity: 6/68

Armor: 153/723
Didn't we already repair him? Hmm, something to do once the pandemic is over.

Taking this to its logical conclusion, many Mutated had been mutilated in exchange for money or involuntary to burn their mutations upon altars for the artisanal god's favor. The tradition has been formally outlawed, though the rumor persists that it is very much alive.
Probably should put the sanctuaries/hidden bases into Zulmni. Seems like the most likely place to need options to hide people. Or a more specialized information network to go after certain crafters.

The other remarkable thing would be Bone Valley, where no one of importance likes us. What a surprise.:V
But it sounds like the Lost would fit in there.

Err not really the Imperium desing is "put rockets on Notre dame" the daughter is a very minimalist vessel.
The daughter is also a prototype. The bling might have been added later if it wasn't for the Collapse.

You know, everytime I look at the DoD picture it makes me want to unlock planes. Cause that ship could work really well as a carrier.
It could but not on the obvious way. But a kilometer long shio could have lunching ramps on the side.
For big ships-yes. But for small stuff like fighters or bombers it is very much bricks.
Also i remembered a desing school that fit its more, The tau-ri (humans) ships from stargate.

The daughter is also a prototype. The bling might have been added later if it wasn't for the Collapse.
I would say it would be nit a brick if was not a prototype, bling would come if a ship pruposes is anything outside mitary even peace time nation don't turn their ships into malls (star trek is a lie)

I was thinking of having the runways on the top since its pretty flat. Plus, since we use Suspendium rather than speed to generate lift we could get away with shorter runways.
Yeah the main issue is that it would get in the way of the main guns of the ship obstructing its firing angle. Wich is not the best ideas but the sides can fit a runway quite comfortably, with suspendium you have a vertical takeoff so you just nee a place where you can land and store the ships (thing on a oversized helipad with guns.

Didn't we already repair him? Hmm, something to do once the pandemic is over.
That's a hold-over from copy/past-ing an outdated statblock. Should be fixed now.

Considering that that particular nations design philosophy and bling was a mix of "Geometric" and "Something Something Her Pleasure," I am intrigued, yet put off, by how that would look.

Okay, I feel like a vaguely humanoid-shaped blob now, so rolls can be done now. (But I am adding another two days to the update since I am still sick.)

ICHDH Declares A Stage 2 Pandemic - The Tessen Speaker
The Imperial Commission For Health, Diseases, And Hygiene has, after reviewing the local conditions in the outer zones of Tessen, that a Stage 2 Pandemic is currently underway and may be elevated into a Stage 3, with signs indicating that a Stage 4 may be possible if not quickly counteracted. Therefore, due to the declaration, all citizens are hereby asked to wear full-face masks when going outside or cover their mouth/nose with medicinal masks when interacting with non-family members unless they engage in physically demanding labor. Furthermore, elevated levels of personal hygiene are also to be observed, and as such, the weekly fees for all public baths are waived until the Stage is lowered to 1 or 0. Lastly, any person falling ill must have another person notify authorities of their sickness and quarantine within their home if possible or seek medical facilities that enable such quarantines post-haste. The ICHDH pays for the fees or potential costs for the duration of the quarantine and consider signing up for possible vaccine trials in the coming weeks or months. Finally, we would like to take this opportunity to remind our readers to refresh their vaccinations for common diseases such as fever, measles, and black hives, with any Mutated that have suffered from the Occular Destabilization Mutation or the Charred Flu to check with trusted doctors to ensure their health and well-being. Attached to the last page are locations to attain vaccines in various for-profit, private, charity, or religious healthcare institutions in your local area. Stay Healthy!

Shield-Belt-Alliance Announces Self-Made Airfleet - The Truthful Observers
In a pitiful try to emulate the wonderous might of the Imperial Airfleet, the SBA has announced that they managed to lift a pathetic hunk of metal, wood, plastic, and rope into the air with a pitiful weapon strapped on, no doubt due to the request of some general that thinks blood and muscle will beat out any Knight any day. However, having made some headway into acquiring Suspendium of their own within their territories, estimates of the quantity place the fields discovered at several orders of magnitudes smaller than those currently being harvested by House Dall within the Forest of Rust. An activity that has allowed the IAF to lift an additional eighty ships since its inception, four battlecruisers added to the Emperor's Service last month alone! And while the benefits for the military are undisputable, the effects on the civilian economy have been nothing short of miraculous. With an eyewatering amount of coins changing hands, hundreds of service stations are erected across the Empire, with thousands more being planned and prepared!

We Apologize For The Current Lack Of Issues - Rags, Rumors, And Rants
Due to a recent, and very unfortunate, bout of illnesses, most of our writing staff has been struck ill with one disease or another. In compliance with Imperial Regulations and with the orders of the ICHDH, our affected teams have self-quarantined, directly impacting our work. We will try to ensure our quality work can be enjoyed soon by you, dear reader, yet the body is weak, even if the mind is willing to write.

Region Report/s

Unrest due to the layoffs has increased across the lower sections of Hal while decreasing in the upper strata due to the greater access to wealth and opportunities available for the returning workers. Unfortunately, the scavenging business is one of the industries seeing a rise. However, it has not been contained to the Necropolis underneath the city, with the lowest levels slowly turning into a low-level combat zone due to the number of desperate people seeking any amount of wealth they can use to feed themselves and pay bills such as rent, protection money, medicine, clothes, weapons, and religious rites and objects used for their faiths. Unfortunately, few expect the violence to die down anytime soon.

Spy-Network:

The Marquess of Tessen is preparing for a possible pandemic while keeping an eye out for the approaching sandstorm.

House Ulatarn is preparing for a possible pandemic.

House Mirn is preparing for a possible pandemic while decoding data storage. The first few blocks of information were released, turning out to be fantasy novels of mediocre quality and disturbing societal views ranging from democracy to the dehumanization of women to the bafflement of many.

The Military has concluded testing, with the JY-28c Long-Range Armor Penetrating Erbalista entering service for select sharpshooter units and auxiliary squads.

The Adventurer Guild has had many groups drafted to keep an eye on the potential pandemic.

The Followers of Light are keeping a close eye on the pandemic.

The Lost are opening medical facilities within their territories, though they are sub-par and often barely better than nothing. Still, a clean bed, clean water, access to food, and rest are levels above what most can afford.

Dirty Daggers are operating as usual.

The Family is operating as usual.

The Common People are keeping up with the withering reviews of the re-discovered fantasy novels and the pandemic news.

The Mutated are keeping up with the withering reviews of the re-discovered fantasy novels and the pandemic news.

And that finishes that project. Now we have a slot open for a festival during the last Turn of the Command Center. Might be in bad taste if people die by the cartload due to the pandemic, though.

ICHDH Declares A Stage 2 Pandemic - The Tessen Speaker
Hmm, standard vaccines probably won't help much if it is really bioterrorism by the Watchers.

Shield-Belt-Alliance Announces Self-Made Airfleet - The Truthful Observers
Sounds like we might have to step up the airship production if there going to be that many service stations.

We Apologize For The Current Lack Of Issues - Rags, Rumors, And Rants
That feels weirdly meta.

I'm tempted to send them a bunch of Scutters as extra security but we might need them ourselves. I guess we could train a new unit and send them to them?

And suddenly everyone is focused on the pandemic. We might have to support the Lost; supplies and cash.

And that finishes that project. Now we have a slot open for a festival during the last Turn of the Command Center. Might be in bad taste if people die by the cartload due to the pandemic, though.
We should probably do the hospices on the outer territories since those places will have the least resources to deal with a plague.

I guess we could train a new unit and send them to them?
We could train an unit on tunnel nad underground fighting, though probably we should skip on the grenades for them.

The Marquess of Tessen is preparing for a possible pandemic while keeping an eye out for the approaching sandstorm.
How common are sandstorms? Are structures semi-resistant to them by default, or is this the sort of thing we need to prepare for?
Well, uh, the event obviously isn't a normal sandstorm, and we will need to do some prep. But to what degree is my question.
Idk what "The Worm Which Burrows" could be besides a parasite or a sandworm. One of which is covered by the same prep as the plague, and the other I have no earthly idea how to defend against.

How common are sandstorms? Are structures semi-resistant to them by default, or is this the sort of thing we need to prepare for?
Semi-Common. Not unusual to have one every couple of weeks, but they can vary in strength from 'mild annoyance' to 'sandblasting unprotected flesh from bones,' with the latter being a rare, once a century happening.

And most structures are resistant against them by default. But it pays to be prepared.

We should probably do the hospices on the outer territories since those places will have the least resources to deal with a plague.
Even with Sandcrete that would take 2 Turns. Might be quicker to work with the Herbalists to run a bunch of mobile quarantine stations out of several airships.

And I'm not too worried about the isolated areas of the outer territories because the difficulty of traveling in this world makes outbreaks less likely. With people knowing about the potential pandemic they will be more careful with any travelers coming in from other places.

We could train an unit on tunnel nad underground fighting, though probably we should skip on the grenades for them.
Hmm, for weapons anything that needs too much space is out. They would have to deal with machines and Mutants, so Electric Mauls?
For armor... Well, they probably can't dodge in tunnels, we got some good progress on the combat drugs, and high initiative makes for a good combo with the Electric Mauls, so Dragonscale armor.
The 3D movement of the Rough Rider Scutter could also be handy if the tunnels are big enough.

That would require space to swing. Can we make something like 40k power weapon? If yes, something like a gladius with that tech would be good.
Depends on the exact design. If it has a spike at the top(or even if it's blunt) then thrusts can still work due to sheer mass, might need both hands though. Not to mention that even slight contact should be enough to conduct electricity, which should give enough time to properly swing the maul.

Might have to throw in a dagger as a sidearm anyway. Or develop a specialized weapon. The Foldable Electro Lance Artefact might get us something that can switch between one-handed and two-handed use.

Maybe shields as well? In a tunnel you can't be flanked so they would be even more effective.
Depends on how big the average tunnel in Bone Valley will be. Maybe one or two Rough Rider Scutters for large transport tunnels, Electric Mauls for tunnels designed for two or three people, and daggers/other weapons for single-person tunnels?
Or maybe Combat Scutters would be better for spaces that tight.

I have an ifea about the pandemic, trow serious money at the problem and organizing with the merchant guild and herbalist union to use our stockpile of artefacts to finance some heaving duty disease control program. The pilgrims have deep pockets for its size we might as well use it
