Houses Seek A Change In Ancient Laws - The Tessen Speaker
In the culmination of several months of negotiation between the Houses of Tessen, Lady Tessen has officially announced their intention to petition Emperor Elianus to change Ordinance #326b-S and #14-VV7 due to the recent judging of High Judge B'il. While many are now debating the exact wording or the necessity to change those ancient laws, others see it as a needed change to reflect the inherent double-think within the laws themselves. And now she has returned to, presumably, gloat over him, tarnish his reputation, and sully her dead mother's memory. We can only hope that his love for her won't cloud his mind too much.

And nowhere can this be seen more evident than within Strul, where a "Neighbourhood Watch" has been organized, barely trying to conceal their seditious and brutal nature. Within the short time this "Watch" has existed, several murders against the poor and families have happened, all unpunished or investigated in the extreme, or if anything happened, then in the laxest way possible. We must ask ourselves if the Guard is unwilling to go against those trying to tarnish their reputation, or if the law is becoming corrupt itself, then who can we trust to watch over us?
