Rumors:

Houses Seek A Change In Ancient Laws - The Tessen Speaker
In the culmination of several months of negotiation between the Houses of Tessen, Lady Tessen has officially announced their intention to petition Emperor Elianus to change Ordinance #326b-S and #14-VV7 due to the recent judging of High Judge B'il. While many are now debating the exact wording or the necessity to change those ancient laws, others see it as a needed change to reflect the inherent double-think within the laws themselves. Yet, one cannot deny that the ruling of High Judge B'il was entirely within the law, yet against what it had been created to do, even if by reading between the lines. And while the Houses draft their plea, some have questions about where such an impetus came from, as it hadn't existed even months prior.

Wife Of Beloved Pillar Of Our Community Dies Unexpectantly - The Truthful Observers
Nahom Javi, a cherished Pillar of the community, Captain of the Militia of his home, and renowned philanthropist, has announced the death of his beloved wife in sickness to the shock and dismay of his friends, colleagues, and the public. While condolences have poured into his home from every corner of the Region, something was missing, and, to the surprise and outrage of many, it had been his still-living daughter. After intensive searching, we managed to find out why she would break with familial piety in such a drastic way as to reject his love and the safety of her parent's home, though we wished we hadn't. As it turned out, she had run away to be with a Mutated she believed to be her brother before running away again when Nahom Javi tried to rescue her, stumbling directly into the arms of the Pilgrims! And now she has returned to, presumably, gloat over him, tarnish his reputation, and sully her dead mother's memory. We can only hope that his love for her won't cloud his mind too much.

And Who Watches The Watchers - Rags, Rumors, And Rants
It seems that even in these enlightened times, corruption, hatred, and ignorance cannot be excised entirely from the righteous ranks of the Guard, even as some within struggle to prevent those bad apples from rotting the rest. And nowhere can this be seen more evident than within Strul, where a "Neighbourhood Watch" has been organized, barely trying to conceal their seditious and brutal nature. Within the short time this "Watch" has existed, several murders against the poor and families have happened, all unpunished or investigated in the extreme, or if anything happened, then in the laxest way possible. We must ask ourselves if the Guard is unwilling to go against those trying to tarnish their reputation, or if the law is becoming corrupt itself, then who can we trust to watch over us?

Spy-Network:

The Military is gearing up for a second round against Mother; this time determined to actually kill her and not run face-first into a trap again. Scouts, Adventurers, and Scavengers have been hired to form a scouting screen against any opposition or action taken against the main force, while half of the Chapters will strike against the Mutants and Machines that will come out to fight or challenge them.

The Lost have finished their renovations inside their hideout, obtaining clean water, enough light, and living spaces devoid of rust, dust, filth, and trash for everyone under their care.

The Common People are delighted by the news and rumors of the Houses coming together to petition Emperor Elianus while also being excited by the slowly increasing air travel within the Region.

The Mutated are watching our campaign to get people to be less hostile against them with confusion and approval. Arias has seen a massive boost in popularity, with toys and dolls of her and PD now being made and sold within some slums.

I wonder if some nobles will invest political capital into figuring out why that happened?

Either our PR campaign is way more effective than I thought or the "Neighbourhood Watch" is ridiculously blatant about it, even for local standards.

The Mutated are watching our campaign to get people to be less hostile against them with confusion and approval. Arias has seen a massive boost in popularity, with toys and dolls of her and PD now being made and sold within some slums.
And so the Iwis gather more converts for their cultfanclub.

Ah, no. I just didn't see that part. Fixed now.

Well, it's more that the RRR is a pro-mutated paper, and scarily good at getting the juicy shit if they try.

This is actually pretty heartwarming to read. Since Aria is literally the first Mutated Knight Pilot, she is probably seen as a superhero among Mutated kids.

Well, not the first, but definetly among the most recent ones within this century. (But seeing as she is the only one within Tessen, and as Regions are basically semi-self-contained nations unto themselves, it works out.)

And the only one that got her face plastered all across the Region to celebrate the recent victory against the Eversun.

Probably also helps that she is currently spearheading our civil rights movement.

BRUH, you have no idea how long I waited for you to slot in your Mutated Knight Pilot for that Action!

There's like... 4 different storylines being triggered right now! Four!

And the least important one will see her being smacked into the history books as (at least) a footnote for Calynths Mutated Rights History!

Are we at the stage where we can donate to specific organizations, or does our status as a Charity Organization make that a touchy subject? I don't think it prevents us from doing so, especially with all the politics involved, but I want Buff Lionman News.
I am currently adding/reworking a lot of Faith Actions, and donations to an organization like the RRR is very much legal, and in Slatnan required to be seen as non-belligerent. Cause, if you remember, this nations bonus is that they have so many shadow games that they get a passive boost to defense to everything because of it.

So giving the RRR 50-200 Materials will be seen with some relief, cause you are doing some shady shit, instead of none. (That they can see.)

Also, I can probably recommend you some sites for Buff Lionman. :p

I mostly just want to see the IC reaction to Buff Lionman Newscaster/Investigative Journalist.

So developing an Intrigue Division would actually be a positive Diplomatic move because regardless of what we actually do with it people (within this nation) will be better able to fit us into their world view?

Not much different to a paparazzo stalking a non-gender conforming celebrity today. Shocking, yet some will be interested. Wiljem will likely be confused as heck, while Tahmid will be all over those stories.

Yup! Most of the nobility seeing you being all: "People are good!" nod, then lean towards their butler/maid and tell them to lock up their secrets, and get someone to investigate what children you are skinning in your basements.

Your (neglected) deal with House Mirn deflected some of that, with your slavic squatting over the Church of Eden causing a big sigh of relief amongst those who knew, or suspected.

Gotcha. That'll help a ton with my "We Should Create A Dedicated Intrigue Action Section" write up, which I'll give a shot for this weekend.
