Crystalwatcher's Magical Girl Quest!

...you do realize Corona was using her own body as a puppet and fighting to the point of wrecking her own body, that Miura broke bones when she used the melee version of Starlight Breaker on Vivio, the Witch girl broke her opponents minds using illusions, that Sieg risks killing her opponent if the power gap is too close...right?

Granted that's all still within Dragon Ball levels of brutality.
Yes, but that's all stuff that you'd only know from the dialog. This was something that was visually brutal.

Totally random subject change:

Gore and Lost have gotten to see San's full sheet.

I'm wondering what kinds of things you all think she's capable of.

Lots of time related shenanigans that would look overpowered spread out over multiple MGs, for one.

Maybe some sort of illusion ability, or other ways of fucking with people's minds.

Perhaps some sort of Ability that increases Timewalk's effect somehow?

Alphamon style time rewind hax?
Alphamon Profile said:
Because it possesses the "Alpha inForce" ability, an ultimate force which, in battle, instantaneously replays the elapsed battle, although Alphamon's attacks are over in just an instant, you can't grasp how many attacks it actually unleashed, and in theory, you can only see the final blow that brought down its opponent.
That ability means that Alphamon basically gets emulator style save states in battle, and can keep spam reloading a save state without canceling out his own attacks. This lets him hit you with an infinite number of attacks simultaneously, because each attack originates from a different timeline.

That is bullshit.

Infinity multiplied by zero is still zero, just be good enough to never be hit and that guy is boned.
Just in terms of base stats alone he's also one of the most powerful beings in the Digimon franchise, and he's got that bullshit hax on top of that.

And you're forgetting that he can spam save states. That means that fighting him is also like trying to fight a version of Coil who doesn't have a limit on how many alternate timelines he can hang onto as backups.

And then he has a super mode.

He's the head of an order of knights tasked with defending God and the core of the universe itself. His second in command has just as high stats, but with what's basically Path to Victory as his hax ability.

To be fair, other top tier Digimon are things like "Evil god of spacetime, representing the fear of the Y2K Bug, which is super intelligent and cunning, has the ability to freely time travel, and created itself via a stable time loop".

Well I was thinking of things in terms of this quest were hax vs hax is more equivalent. this doesn't change the fact that if he cant hit you in any timeline the moron is probably going to run out of energy and from a outside point of view will just simply end up seeing him/it die due to exhaustion in a spilt instant rather then seeing him/it win in a split instant.

A good example of this would be Homura's own time loops if you fail enough times you will go batshit and die, or break all of reality. :V

That's true of any hax though. Battles among things of that high tier (for this quest the equivalent would be like Top 10 MGs) pretty much always comes down to "whose hax counters or nullifies the other person's hax?" Being bullshit powerful even without your hax (in this case, Stats and Spells) means that you win what would otherwise be mutual kills or stalemates.

Hmm, here's two less bullshit guesses :V

She can abuse the inherent connection between Time and Space to travel between alternate universes, in a manner similar to 「Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap」.

She can restore other people or objects to a previous state in a manner similar to 「Crazy Diamond」.

She can look at the collection of all possible futures springing from a specific moment to determine what percentage of them contain a specific outcome, similar to the ability of Zelretch that is responsible for the Second Magic bearing the name "Kaleidoscope".

As long as there's an infinitely small chance to be hit, he can hit you because there are infinite timelines And because he hit you and there are infinite timelines, he hit you a fuckload of times at once. What you need to if you want to make sure you survive that is bullshit regeneration hax, like the Ulforce that gives UlforceVeedramon his name, which regenerates him faster than direct deletion can keep up with.

Except they're both Royal Knights so chances are you're fighting both at the same time.

The really High level Digimon, especially in their Lore, are a special type of bullshit that wouldn't be entirely out of place in the higher power levels of this setting.

The Digimon version of Yggdrasil has many different names it goes by, all of which are roughly synonymous, which makes dealing with that kind of issue easy.

The Royal Knights as its weapons works great though. And maybe the Death X Virus too.
Maybe... Yggdrasil could be a nascent Divine Being forming from all the Data floating around Akashic Pillar's Network? And dimensional shenanigans plus the show giving it a conceptual framework to grow around is allowing it to slowly grow and create a Digital World?

It'd never form fully within the timeframe of the quest, but it's there, slowly gaining shape from all the data and memes floating around and soon it'll start gaining a consciousness and start shitposting on the forums.

.........I was thinking more along the lines of making it be one of the countless planes in the LDC, with a quality over quantity approach to its weapons.
