[DISPAIR]
Now, I know we haven't seen everything from Ni, but thinking about Red's Army of the Apocalypse vs. Nepgear, I think that the quests narrative mechanics make it such that Nepgear has the advantage. While the Army racks up some impressive numbers incredibly quickly, from what we have been shown, it is also melee. So why the hell would Nep, a fairly fast flyer get into a position where they can actually attack if she knows she'd lose? Answer, she won't. She'd pick fights where Purifier Beam and Starshine glass the Army's positions. It only takes 1,500 of those to hit a million Base Damage. There is 90% chance of Goddess Red rolling 3,000 which puts the Base Damage up to 1,998,000. Throw in Coming of the End and it takes a mere 500, 98.34% chance, to hit a million damage per attack of which they have two per turn. This is of course without Goddess Red's Overwhelming Presence.
Anyway my point is it takes relatively small armies to hit massive combo damage.
You intentionally misspelled that didn't you.
Is there a concept of [SPELLING] somewhere?
Yes. It's gotten funny.
This is actually an issue all three armies we've seen suffer from. Soul Reaver are melee only, Hell's Soldiers/Hell's Ground Commanders/Hell Beasts* are melee only, and Spawns of Chaos are melee only. Which is good since it really puts a limit on how much damage they can do to a single target simply due to spacing. While the Army racks up some impressive numbers incredibly quickly, from what we have been shown, it is also melee. Hellfire is the Hell Beast spitting a ball of fire at an enemy. So it's ranged.*Well Hell Beasts have a spell called "Hellfire" which might be ranged but it could also just be coating their claws in Hellfire.
And this is why I set that large groups of powerful ranged combatants that aren't numerous enough to count as an army are a threat. This is actually an issue all three armies we've seen suffer from. Also, @crystalwatcher
Is the auto-Intercept of Supremacy Zone limited by our attacks per turn?
It doesn't. Intercept doesn't use attacks either... at least I haven't done it like that.Besides there is a possible downside to Covering Fire:
@crystalwatcher - Does Covering Fire use up Nepgear's Attacks Per Turn like normal Intercept does?
That was also a really long time ago, back when things were still really wonky and inconsistent
Look at it this way. There could be a Concept of [MATH] somewhere.
Is it because Insight has useful abilities for understanding her opponent's tactics? Why do you think she's dragging Insight around with her despite her being a newbie?
*facepalm*Is it because Insight has useful abilities for understanding her opponent's tactics?
Or because Red Rose finds it rewarding to see how much stronger newbies become after a couple of fights?
That answer should be obvious!*looks at @UberJJK*
Yo, you're the resident Shepard Quest vet, you got any ideas for a Divine Entity based on the concept of [MATH]?

Because trying to calculate a boss fight with him would make you kill yourself out of sheer embarrassment and frustration.

Nah. No calculations required. Nepgear has a magical body:Because trying to calculate a boss fight with him would make you kill yourself out of sheer embarrassment and frustration.

And for a moment you find yourself staring at her with incomprehension. When it dawns on you, you actually drop your cup.
"As far as the lab coat can tell, you no longer have an actual human body."

Not sure if copy paste error. But I think "It effects everything" would be better.Everyone Answers To It

That's the wording you used for Conceptual Armor in the edit to the Divine Being infodumpNot sure if copy paste error. But I think "It effects everything" would be better.
But that's me.
