Crystalwatcher's Magical Girl Quest!

So. Did Uni fuck up bad enough that I should be feeling vindictive? *Evil Grin*
Oh no she just kinda froze in the face of the bullshit Team Gear deals with on a regular basis. After Gabriel proved how fucking BADASS she is by no selling The Demon King, Sam gave a Shonen Speech to Uni, who proceed to blow Sixth Heaven into atomized chunks of unidentifiable flesh and visera.

... Hmm... alright, I can live with that. *Puts Vindictiveness back in its box* *Ignores the box rattling* As long as she doesn't do it again anyway.

Yeah, when she finds out that we've been dealing with this shit since day 1, I don't think she'll feel nearly as jealous of our power anymore.

She shouldn't. From what crystalwatcher said the Judgement sisters are going to be following us around because of how much XP they got from this. I think they both earned...6,100 XP last I checked? That doesn't count Uni one-shoting Heaven either.

Plus you need the context for why she froze. Uni is a Flying Artillery Platform. She has no melee capabilities besides using her giant cannon as a crude club, she has zero experience being on the frontline in a combat zone, since she is a FAP and stuck to the backlines blasting regular demons and normal Dark MG's from Long Range, while her sister intercepted anyone who got close and shredded them. She's not used to opponents of this high caliber or being on the front line in general.

After watching Nepgear, someone who One-shotted her both times they've fought, endured everything Uni could throw at her with only a bruise to show for it, and casually obliterate entire armies of demons, just get smacked into Lala land from The Demon King, and her sister isn't in range to protect her? After being told she was their best hope for everyone getting out alive? With her low self-esteem she freaked out.

After blasting Sixth Heaven back to Hell? I doubt she's going to be having that problem anymore, and if she does, it won't be nearly as bad as we drag her into more bullshit, and she starts to adapt.

I've only been able to skim most of the thread today because android and classes, it sounded like Uni f-ed up though. Badly. But it looks like it wasn't as bad as I thought.

And if you're wondering where I was going with it instead... actually, I think you're the only one in this conversation that doesn't have the pieces needed to figure out where that was going funnily enough. Although I assume you would know what these two words mean: The Pit

Thank you. I feel better about that all now.

Demons are made from broken promises, the more powerful/significant the promise, the more powerful the resulting demon. So, what was formed from the breaking of this promise?

Once upon a time, there were four sisters.

Born with a power beyond all others they swore to each other to become legends.

To uphold all they held dear and to keep it safe... But it was not meant to be.

For you see...

One grew disillusioned with the bloodshed. She turned away, leaving on her own journey.
(The Goddess White)

Two fell to the Darkness they sought to defeat. Their desires lost to the Light.
(The Goddess Red, The Goddess Grey)

And the last, left alone, became the Hero they all sought to be.
(The Goddess Gold)
As it was not just between the four was it? How many people did they promises that they would always stand for the light, that they would not be divided, to protect humanity?

The hope of Humanity, and possibly the UL, the four most powerful Magical Girls, fracturing and leaving only one to fulfill the promise they all made.

.....Well Fuck Me With An Evergreen. That is 101 different shades of Not Good.

The Good news: The only people that died were unimportant.

The Bad News: They weren't unimportant to Uni, so she's kind of in the middle of breaking down and thus will be unavailable if you immediately go on another mission.

Other News: Update is done and in the shack, but I'm trying to think of what EXP and Upgrades to dole out.

They were important to me as well.

Also, have my own update priority list:
1) Emissary of the Core x2 (2000 xp)
2) Increase Purifier Beam to 20 (850 xp)
3) Increase Starshine to 15 (600 xp)
4) Increase Celestial Severance to 15 (600 xp)
5) Increase Flight to 20 (1450 xp)
6) Increase Indestructible Core to 20 (1450 xp)

Hm....Thanks for the heads up. In that case I vote we wait for a day, train to get the Purifier beam undercontrol, and then head to the Hyper Gate with the JT. No way am I going to let them miss out on all that XP. But hey, Trauma powers Divine MG's like nobody business, so Uni probably got a nice extra chunk of XP from this.

That'll be depending on what missions we get for me. We may want to dive back in immediately.

Huh. What this bit about Emissary of the Core? I see we can purchase it multiple times but why should we and what does it do?

Ehh, we were never explicitly told that Schathatch can't do it too. Considering how bullshit she is, not really out of the question to say that she can do any of the special techniques that he could with the weapon she gave him.
The heart stab is and expression of Cu's use of it, specifically. Why on earth would Scath have it?
