Crystalwatcher's Magical Girl Quest!

I don't care. I don't care if either of the Judgments Die, I don't care if the UD deploy both Red and Grey there to rekt their shit and break the nukes, I Just. Don't. Care.

I made my vote, I'm sticking to it, and I would appreciate if the Beta Council stopped dropping these annoyingly ominous hints about how everything will go to shit if we don't help the Judgement. I. Don't. Care.
My post at the top of the page was a joke, as indicated by the winking smiley. While I did vote for it, I voted for it a particular reason that had nothing to do with foreknowledge of what it would entail, and I'm fairly sure Lost is voting for a different reason that I can guess at. In fact, I'm sorry if I accidentally mislead anyone with that comment.

My question was both genuine, as I was interested in how you had interpreted things, and a suggestion you take another look, as you had been missing things that I naturally thought of.

By reply to you was those things based on logical thinking and natural speculation. No foreknowledge used or required.

To be clear: I have deliberately gone out of my way to ignore (most of) my foreknowledge with this vote.

It's fine. It's just Lost that's doing the annoy as hell ominous statements and I thought other people were too. I'm just going to be sticking to my guns and ignoring Losts troll posts.

It's fine. But your a Beta Reader. All these little statements you make? People are going to pay attention to them and it is going to influence their votes. So just....keep that in mind okay? If your going to drop ominous statements in thread, don't do it because we aren't taking this ONE Particular Action, atleast make ominous statements about all the options so people don't vote to prevent some impossible to know shitshow, only for another option to give a even bigger one since we didn't take it.

Right, right...

Okay, you wanted me to be plain? I know far more about what Starborn entails than the other options, because I designed the boss for Starborn. The other two I just have guesses.

Umm... fuck this conversation spiraled into a flaming shit heap. :V

I don't even know where to begin any more. So I'm just going to respond to the things in my quote box and you guys can all just pass questions along!

:V:V Lets gets started! :V:V

did any of them have runes, or where they all normal traitors?
Runes are a thing. Magical Girls in this base and others are starting to get checked.

Yet, the two workshop members who know what all three entail are both voting for it. ;)
You just want to watch the explosions. And the meteor thing. :V

I have the exact same reaction when Lost first used the first Gabriel's nickname in the workshop. You are not alone in the confusion.

I have to agree with Nix here.

As a QM I've had to get used to giving equal focus to all the options I present in the thread's conversation, otherwise I've found that Readers have the knee jerk reaction to leap on the option I was focusing on, instead of the actual solution vote. So dropping continuous hints about one option while ignoring the others can lead them to ignore the option that'll reveal the real issue, leading to even worse consequences down the line because you baited them into the idiot vote on accident.

Each mission will have some form of importance one way or another. Some of the big ones will stick around for several choices, but shuffle their line up while others are time sensitive.

I'm leaving it up to the Readers to decide which missions are worth pursuing now instead of later. Whether they're time sensitive or not will be revealed before or during the current mission.

Of our current choices...I believe that the first and third are the only time-sensitive choices. The foer because we simply do not have enough information to even make a decent guess as to what the Maidens might be looking for, while the third because the Unified Darkness knows that humanity is gearing up, and wants to put a stop to that as best they can.

Therefore, we should then decide which ones are more time-sensitive. I personally believe that the first choice is less time-sensitive than the third choice. We know the Unified Darkness is going to stop humanity from gearing up, and we know that they'll be sending in their best. We don't know what the Maidens are looking for, but it will most likely take time for them to find it, since they have to deal with a WEAPON kicking their shut in at the same time therefore, I believe we should do Starborn first, then Whoopass.

My question is about world-building; are there stereotypes about the various Affinities? Like Evil, Chaos, Despair. Are there stereotypes that say people with those Affinities are more likely to go evil than people with Affinities like Protection, Good, or Hope?

I really want to see more Judgment Core and Drive and their interaction with Ana and Sega. Irritated with the lack of interaction with them considering Sega's past ties and Ana's fight prize.

Beside the mission is still a good way of trapping any attackers so Ana can use up her frustration.
I kind of wonder if we will see any hot potatoes game with nukes, would be great way to gauge if the enemies wants to live more than completing the mission when holding the nuke.

[x]The Ultimate Weapon (Operation: Starborn)

So, how hard is it to practice reducing collateral damage in the field? Its mainly a matter of regulating the flow, and I figure enemy mooks are acceptable targets to practice her aim and focus if they can't hurt her...

Are you going to make a Canon Doom-Guy sheet? Judgment Core/Drive needs their Daddy damn it!
Probably. And likely to be dead.

The stereotypes are there, but so far they haven't been very reliable. Good Affinities have gone bad, and Bad Affinities have been some pretty badass good guys.

Doesn't keep people from judging though.

Please. That's just a lie Hell spreads around to keep the rank and file from jumping at shadows and running in terror at the mention of his name. Doomguy Never Dies.
*Glances at the piles of bodies*

Well... for a given definition of 'dies'.

Anyway, anyone got any questions?

has any part of earth realized what it means to be a part of an eternal war? will we ever get the chance to invade hell? conquer hell? is hell endless? when a promise is broken where does the demon spawn? near the person who broke the promise or in hell? gabriel spawned near the children in the kindergarten sooo... . are humans more cautious about making promises and prayers now?

how many people have tried to summon Cthulhu?
